*After much pacing and fretting, she approaches the phone and stares at it for long moments. Picking it up, she puts it back down over and over as the minutes turn to hours, days...
Going into the bathroom she carefully washes her face and hands, the tears having burned her eyes too long. Returning to her chambers, she again picks up the phone, wrapping her fingers around it so tightly that her knuckles turn whote and her skin stretches painfully.
She clears her throat and mind, closing her eyes to take a few deep breaths before dialing. Slowly... hesitating over the last number so long that the evil timed-out beeping jerks her back to reality. She trys again, this time making it through and waiting as the phone on the other end rings... and the familiar machine comes on with that message...
She smiles then, remembering her happy days with the Flowers... Zero and so many others.*
Zero... this is Mahayr. You may not remember me at all, but I have thought of you more often than you know. I have missed you and hope to see you soon.

*Listening to her new message, she colours slightly and smiles with joy. She makes a mental note to call him again very soon... perhaps they could meet somewhere for tea and catch up!.
Going into the kitchen at the thought, she prepares a simple trat with tea and toast, carrying it back to her chambers and kneeling on her furs, setting the tray on a near low table. She pours the tea and rests back more on her heels to reflect, her eyes still reflecting her gratitude and for now... she remains serene.*
