She was startled by the compliment and her grin faltered slightly, unsure of how she ought to reply to such a comment. After an awkward moment and after her cheeks had returned to their normal color Marie finally found her tongue.
"Thank you."
Then, he was leaving and she felt terribly dissapointed.
"I'll try to read something happier if I know I'm going to be seeing you, then," she said as he walked away, waving her hand in farewell, "Was nice to meet you and Viviana, too!"
