Cyndir stood in the hallways for a moment, leaning against the wall. What just happened? A blush tinted his cheeks and a soft smile curved his lips. The more he thought about it, the more comfortable with the idea he seemed to get.
A shadow crossed his features, as his thoughts went back to Renji. He hoped his friend was ok.
Cyndir sighed and started down the hall. Ahead of him he saw an unfamiliar form walking in his direction. More new students? How many were coming in just this week? But Cyndir put a smile on his face and waved to the newcomer.

Yuusuke looked up, and saw a student waving at him from down the hall. Did he know him? No...probably some just some punk looking for some kicks. Well, it was Yuusuke's first day, and he wasn't having it.
"Look, if you're looking for trouble, you won't find it here," he challenged the boy.

Cyndir took a half-step back, his mouth open in protest, and he nearly dropped the torn shirt in his hands. That was...unexpected. He bit his lip, his eyes hurt.
"Oi...I didn't mean anything by it....Gomenasai." he said, bowing. "I just didn't recognize you, that's all...."
He looked up at the new boy, brushing his red-tinted forelock out of his eyes with one hand, the other still clinging to Sanzo's shirt.
"The first day can be rough...Just saying hi." he continued, looking down. Cyndir wasn't quite sure what he'd done, but the unexpected venom bit him with a harshness he hadn't been prepared for. "I'm Cyndir Rothyk. I didn't mean to bother you. Shitsuree shimashita."

Yuusuke paused for a second. Was this boy seriously trying to be friendly? Or was he looking for trouble? After his own brethren had betrayed him, he had learned his lesson about trust. Don't do it. But at the same time, if he didn't at least try, his time here would be ******** it.
Yuusuke extended his hand, offering a powerful handshake. "The name's Futabashi. Yuusuke Futabashi. I didn't mean to snap at you. I just don't want any unnecessary bullshit while I'm here - I'm making my time go as smoothly as I can, y'know?" He put on an apologetic face, and gave a half-smile, trying to calm the boy - just incase he WASN"T looking to start s**t.

Cyndir smiled back, brightening a bit. Well, it was understandable that he'd be testy. Everyone was always on edge during their first day. He was surprised by the handshake. It had been a while since he'd seen one of those. Not since before his father had left home, and they'd moved here. He grinned again, an embarassed but amused look on his face.
"Handshake? I know Japanese is my second language, but I didn't think my accent was that obvious. I've lived in this country since I was seven."
He winced. A strong handshake, for sure.
"And don't even worry about it. I just try and give a smile to the new ones. I remember my first day." Cyndir made a face to emphasise his point.
He looked down at the shirt still in his other hand, remembering his errand.
"I was just on my way to the dean's office, I have to get a...a friend excused from classes for a few days." a visible blush colored Cyndir's face as he called Sanzo a 'friend'. Sanzo will understand. You're not ready to scream it to everyone yet, and you don't know this guy. "He had detention with Taiki-sama..."

"Heh," he smirked. "Your accent may not be that obvious, but your face is obvious enough."
He scanned the boy for a second. He didn't seem like a punk...definitely too friendly, too bright-eyed. "Its not even so much that it's my first day...just I don't feel like getting tied in with the wrong people..." he said, and added in a mutter, "again."
He looked down at the shirt in Cyndir's hand, confused, but said anyway, "Well, I wish you luck, but I don't know the rules here well enough to know if you can get your friend excused - especially for a torn shirt..." He trailed off, and then added "I would come with you, but I don't think I quite want to have to deal with the headmistress here just yet," he smirked.
He would have to remember to ask the boy later why he was here...he didn't SEEM like a delinquent.

Cyndir's brow raised, a sligthly puzzled expression on his face at the boy's tone. But he chuckled.
"I guess I do kinda stand out from the average Asian, ne?" he said, brushing his hair out of his face again. "And you don't have to worry about me getting you in trouble..." his sentence trailed away, and his eyes were distant for a moment, a shadow of remembered pain lingering over his expression. But only for a moment, as he came back to the present, and smiled again.
"And I'm not going to see the headmistress. She's quite the scary one, ne?" he chuckled again. "Anyone twisted enough to come up with a place like this has got to be sick in the head. But no, I'm going to see Dean Yuromeshi. She's creey in her own way, but not like the Headmistress is. You can get out of classes if you had detention." he held up the shirt then, displaying the blood-stained tatters that were the back of it at one point. "I'm just bringing this along as proof. Sanzo-san took a real beating. You're welcome to come, but if not, then there are a bunch of places you can go to meet people. We're not all a bad sort here."
He turned down the hall, looking to see Yuusuke was going to follow or not.

"The Dean? Well, I guess that can't be as bad. I mean, he can only inject us with poison, as opposed to the headmistress, who could inject us with poison and...hmm...I guess it's just as bad, ne?" he chuckled.
Yuusuke paused for a second, not sure if he should follow Cyndir or not. He seemed nice enough, and it was only to the Dean's office. In addition, being as it was still his first day, he had no classes, and the walls of his dorm room weren't all he wanted to see. Actually, he could really see no cons in following Cyndir.
He turned on his heel after Yuusuke nonchalantly, and said, after a second of putting together the sentence, "Why the hell not...it's not like I have anything better to do anyway," before beginning his walk down the hallway.

Cyndir snickered.
"She. Dean Yuromeshi is a she." he said, grinning. "But I won't tell if you won't."
"Well, its not like we're doing anything wrong. Just make sure you don't miss classes and don't mouth off, and you should get off pretty easy. I have a bad habit of sneaking up on people without meaning to, so I get an occasional zap." he grimaced, remembering his class the day before.
"So, what are you in for? Aside from the sarcasm, you don't seem so bad. Or do I have to worry about you pulling a knife on me as soon as I turn my back?" he said, as they headed down the hall. "Then again, considering you got a full-cavity search when you arrived here, and smuggling weapons is quite difficult, maybe it will be a plastic fork instead."

Yuusuke grimaced a bit.
"Another she? Great...god forbid they're both PMSing at the same time...the whole school would be wiped out."
"A bad habit of sneaking up on people eh? People have a bad habit of sneaking up on me too. Most of them didn't get zapped...though some of them might wish they had. Which leads me to your last question..." He paused for a second...how exactly did he want to play this? He could really mess with this boys head, at least for a minute or two.
"Well, here's the list. Found guilty of associating with a street gang, found guilty of trying to rob a good 10 million yen, and they're still trying to figure out whether I had a gun, and whether or not I'm the one who used it."

Marcus entered the planly decorated hallways looking about. His eyes snapped to the number above the doors. He walked the left side 1....3... He puased the counting in his head to look at the number then turned and notices the 2. He smiles and little and opens the door, but his slow caution turned into a frantic rush inside with a loud slam.

The cancellation of classes had reached Kazuma and felt like a godsend. He didn't think his head would be at all in his studies today. He didn't want to go to class, though he didn't want to be slowly electrocuted for truancy either. The generator malfunction could not have occurred at a better time.
He rifled through his pockets until he found his code key. He just wanted to go in his room. Maybe until classes resumed tomorrow. it wasn't as though anyone would come looking for him anyway. Well...Miko might. And naturally she'd drag her precious "Nyas-sama" along. Much as he loved the girl, like a little sister, he just didn't have the energy for her right now. More than that, he didn't think he could bear that starry-eyes expression that never left her whenever Nyas was so much as mentioned accidentally.

Marcus left his room the opposite he came in. He walked slowly trying not to draw attention to himself as he moved down the hall. He passed the two other rooms near his. He came to the main hallway junction and stepped out into it.

Keiran rushed through the hall looking at the smoke. He hoped Michale was back now. The announcment of the cancellation of classes meant that Michale could stay in his room and get better!! Angel smiled and glanced down at the smoke again. He held it as if it were a precious gold or something. He just turned the corner when-he ran smack into someone and fell backwards onto his back the smoke flying from his hand.
He stared up at the cieling completly in a daze. He groaned and rubbed his head blinking a few times. He didn't even know who it was he ran into, it dawned on him that he dropped the smoke and he was quickly on his hands and knees crawling around
"Oh No! Where is it?! Where is it?!"

Kazz grunted as he stumbled forward, dropping his cardkey to the tiled floor. He reached down to retrieve it before investigating his assaulter, but froze before straighteneg up as he recognized the panicked voice. Slowly he straightened up and turned around, and he groaned inwardly. Well didn't this just figure. With the blessing of the cancellation of class came the kick in the nuts of Keiran's unexpected appearance.
"Oh No! Where is it?! Where is it?!"
"Kei-ch----er, I mean Keiran.. You all right? What did you lose?"
