Lael watches him leave, shivering. Well now I know I'm not going back to sleep, she thinks, almost laughing at her own sillyness. What have I gotten myself into??? She goes to the leader of the village and explains everything to him. After several hours she manages to convince him and preparations are made. By sunrise, she is waiting at the gate of the town, packed for a long journey.

At sunrise, Nightblade comes back to the village, and sees the strange girl, called Lael.
"Hello again." His voice Dark, raspy.

"Hi," she says, her voice soft. She didn't get any sleep, so she's rather tired. Luckly she still has a bit of an adrenaline rush from the night before. "They're prepairing to leave as we speak," she says, motioning to the village. "Everything has been prepaired."

He nods.
"Good...now...hop onto my back, for we are going onto a journey."
The dark, cloaked figure transforms into a beast.
A wolf like none other.

Lael nodds, climbing on nervously. She's never ridden any animal, not to mention a wolf, so she's a little frightened.

A low fog rolled in deep and thick from the graveyard, amongst the fog a tall figure rose. The only thing to be seen was the menacing green glow of his eyes in his deep hood. Forty thousand grendeloks just to destroy a run down city. What a waste. The demon thought to himself as he pulled out his katana and motioned for the demon hoard he had arrived with to advance. He Spoke in quipped words, "Aurys jsyud jhsgew, oauh abe SEHRESN!"
((Yay for demon gibberish!))

Darkness approaching, The strange girl upon the wolf saw a figure in the distance, but was unable to make out what is was. However, nightblade did. It was a demon, and a very powerful one at that. This demon was strong beyond all imagination. he had teeth sharp as knives, menacing black horns, and fearsome red eyes. He wore a tattered bloodstained cloak and wielded a mammoth axe. His name was Dex. Luckily for both the girl and nightblade this demon had taken a vow to destroy his own kind, for long ago he had been betrayed by his creators, but seeing as he was a demon heaven had rejected him leaving him to dwell in the land of mortals, alone and hellbent on vengeance. He and nightblade agreed to help each other in their quests. twisted
