"Well..." Rei lowered his half eaten cookie. "Just going from my personal experience, unless someone comes to tell you that you have to stay, you're free to go. I've never really been hurt, I just stop by for my..some medicine." Reiku shoved the rest of the cookie hrriedly into his mouth and jumped to his feet, brushing off the seat of his pants.
"How about I run to the caf and grab you something....wait, you don't like the caf. Student Union then." Reiku leaned over to press a kiss to Michael's cheek. "I'll be right back." And with that he was off, backpack bouncing behind him."

Michael looked quizicaly at Rei, but he wasn't able to ask the question before the boy was off. Michael called after him, "But, you shouldn't pay for me! Uh... Rei... Fine, whatever." He looked down at his chest. He had cooled down some, though he still felt a little warm.

Rei was relieved when the student nurse deliberately ignored him at his reentrance. He really didn't want to bother with her anyway. He made his way back to the cot occupied by his boyfriend and smiled broadly.
"Surprise, surprise. Hope this makes you feel better." Reiku placed the sandwhiches, ruitsalad, and milks on top of Michael's outstretched legs. Then he kneeled beside the bed once more.
"It's tuna. I remember you like tuna fish, ne?"

He looked at the food and back up at Rei, and down at the food again. His throat developed a great lump in his throat. His eyes began to water at the small memory, the tiniest gesture of love from Rei. He'd never had anything like this. Andre couldn't compare. He was a puppet master... but Reiku... Reiku was a real partner. A lover. Kind, concerned. He closed his eyes, tears streaming down his face as he began to sob.

Reiku stiffened and began to shake his head frantically.
"Iie, don't cry. Oh, My-kun, gomene, I didn't mean it? What did I do? I won't do it again, I promise. Just please, don't cry, ne?" He reached forward, brushing away the tears that fell down his cheeks.

"Ia... Mai-nichi shike... Do it every day. Every single day we're together. Make me cry in the love that we have together. Do these little things for me... and I hope I can be half as pleasing to you." He looked at the food and then into Rei's eyes, his own bleeding salty tears.

"Oh..." Reiku blushed, pleased. "Soooo...nothing bad then? I'm glad. I was wracking my brain, trying to figure out what I did wrong. I mean I know you said you liked tuna fish, but you got kinda sad when you started talking about your mom. I'd hate to think I'd ruined something you liked so much for you. I mean...I know I had a little episode that day...nevermind, it doesn't matter." The boy sat back on his heel, sighing so heavily his bangs blew upwatd.
"Eat up. We gotta get your strength back. And, much as I hate it, I need to leave you soon." Rei pouted.

Reiku looked up with dismay as he heard the bell from the clocktower chimed. He jumped to his feet.
"Crap! I hae to go, My-kun. I'm gonna be late. Geeze, time just passed so fast!" He leaned over the bed and pressed a quick kiss to the boy's cheek, then threw his arms around his neck for a quick hug.
"I'll be back to check on you soon as I can, ne?"

He nodded. "Alrght. That's great. Keep cool, Rei." He watched Rei walk off and smiled. "What would I do without you?" He took a large bite from the sandwitch and smiled even larger. He just loved tuna.

It had been an hour. A whole 'freakin' hour and Michael had done nothing but eat the lunch given to him. He fealt much better now, though. In fact, he fealt great. He smiled. He could feel his strength returning to him. He was able to sit up, move around, just like normal... well, pretty normal it seemed, as his arms could not quite push him up off the bed.
"Damn. I should at least be able to walk now. I'm not sitting here all day. That's so boring! I wonder where Rei is."

Reiku came running into the Infirmary as though a rabid dog were hot on his heels. Once inside he skidded to a stop, taking a moment to catch his breath. As he straightened up, shoving his burgundy locks from his face, he spotted Michael in his cot. Cheeks still flushed with his dash, Rei burst into a broad grin.
"My-kun> Feeling any better?" he bent over to kiss the boy's forehead before kneeling once more beside the cot.

Mike blushed happily as he was kissed, and he beamed seeing Reiku back by his side. "Hey, love, I feel wonderful. I can almost pick myself up again. I'm sure that with another hour or so I'll be able to get up. You look hot, well, temperature. Mai-nichi anata wa totemo sekushina kare da yo! So how was class?" He couldn't help but giggle a little from his last comment, but that was really the way he fealt.

Rei blinked in suprise, but after a moment, smiled. It was still a bit of a shock for someone to confess their feelings so openly to him. But he'd told Michael he was done trying to hide their relationship, and he'd meant it. He giggled softly, ducking his head in a self-conscious manner.
"Iie, you flatter me, My-kun. " he leaned forward, folding his arms at the edge of Michael's bed and resting his chin upon them before shrugging. "Class was class....hateful as ever. I though I had signed up for Art...you know drawing and painting and the like, ne? Instead I just got another boring histtory class. Well, boring in subject, anyway. The teacher isn't, at all. he's as crazy as the rest of them. Kissed two kids right there in the middle of the class, just to be a jerk. Not me though, thank goodness. he did get Ariko. And that girl he was talking about that he liked last night. "

Mike raised an eyebrow in question. "He kissed Ariko-san? Arienai! That was blatent, ne? Demo... Chou ukeru." He laughed at the thought of Ariko being kissed by another guy, and a teacher no less. "What did he do? Did he like, completely freak?"

"He spat on the floor a couple times....looked like he wanted to strangle the guy. Of course you know the big freak got off on that, ne? Just grinned and muttered something to Ariko that I couldn't hear. Mutaga-sensei is creepy." Rei shuddered.
"Truthfully, I think Ariko was more pissed about him kissing Shinohara-san than him. When the bell rang he practically dragged her from the room." He sighed dramatically, tilting his head to the side to look up at Michael better.
"It was kinda romantic, really. To see someone all upset on someone else's behalf like that. Really sweet. He must really like her, I've never seen him that kind of upset before. It's enough to make a guy kinda envious..."
