Lionel would easily Manipulate him if Clark became Level headed about it. Clark knows that. Lionel would decieve Clark into thinking he was a nice guy who had changed (which is what he is trying to do now). Lionel would Black Mail him, mostlikely to get information about Lex and try to regain power of Luthorcorp, like he has so long wished to do so.

i completly disagree. if he did that he would ruin his friendship with martha... martha is the ONLY ONE HE LOVES. why would he want to screw there friend ship up?

Money, Power, all the other things that out number his one love for Martha. he knows he can't win martha with out winning Clark first. he would Manipulate both of them to get what he wants Like Clark said "Lionel doesn't do things for other people unless there is something in it for him".

You can tell by the weight of a gun. Lionel has a lot of skill with a gun, he has to. its part of self defense. he knows a full gun from an empty one.

Just watched yesterday's ep. while I fed Micah. It was pretty good. I KNEW the guy checking for bugs was the masked guy. 3nodding
I loved how Chloe, Clark and Lex had to work together to accomplish they're goal.
And I do agree with chaos about the whole Jor-el thing.
My fav. part was when martha said "truth, justice and the american way" and Clark said "sounds like words to live by" xd

Lana didn't have much of a part to play in the episode. Though I did like that Lex would care to take Lana's call even though his father is in peril. Cruel yet cute.

Ok U JUST SAID THAT IT DEPENDs on the type of gun lol. plus as a stated many times before obviously lionel thought there was a bullet because of the look on his face and stuff. even if he knew there wasnt one do u think he would shoot martha?

No, because he loves Martha. Even still that is not the point we were originally talking about. Lionel has always loved Martha. But that dos not mean he will not manipulate her for his own needs

maybe the old lionel. the new lionel loves martha and is obviously trying to get with her. thats his main goal.... why would he manipulate her and destroy there friendship? no point.... plus lionel could blackmail clark right now if i wanted to

But that would ruin his whole "master plan" if he started black mailing Clark, Clark would tell his mother who would end his relationship with Martha. he is going to wait until the point where he has both Clark and Martha in his grip. Then he will black mail them, in the sense where they will not know they are being black mailed.
