There's a difference between blood siblings and spiritual siblings, methinks. I have a friend of mine called Pia, who could very well be my sister, and for a time teachers even got us mixed up (not that we were trying to look alike- we weren't.)

Yeah me and Cait are definitly connected spiritually and we don't know how or why...I'm casting runes right now to figure out what the connection is. (My last rune casting two days ago said my twin flame was near and getting nearer razz )

Hello, merry meet and blessed be everyone. After poking around the site. I have determined that it should host an event, draw up the members and DO something! But that's not what I am here for.
As anyone probably can tell now, I am a Leo. Born near the middle so I do have an affinity for fire above all else. But having been born in a Native American community, Saxman for all who care, I have a tendency to ALL elements. It feels wrong to not do so.
My fav. stone is amethyst(yes, a fire stone), my fav. color is silver(air), my fav. physical activity is swimming(especially in the ocean) and I love herbal magick and potions. (See, I even incorporate all the elements, whee )
The weirdest thing about my birth is that I was born on July 27,1989. This is peculiar because in the Western Zodiac I am the Leo, leader, center of attention and talkative. Yet in the Chinese Zodiac I am the snake, the exact opposite on almost all that is definitively a leo. And yes, you do see the two clash inside me!
The two zodiacs are reknowned for being vain creatures. I, however, am most definitely NOT vain. I have my moments, but I am far from vanity I can proudly say. Cooky trait of mine. xd
I have been interested in Wicca all of my life, yet it wasn't until four years ago, five this coming July of 2006, that I actually came 'home' to it. Though I am not entirely there as I have yet to PRACTICE much of any of what I read and study.
Why? Because, I want to start in a coven and then move into solitaire. I just don't want to goof everything up. (A snake trait, perfectionism is...actually I think that's a leo trait as well...) I think I've yapped at you enough now... blaugh sweatdrop

Hmm...Well I'm not good at introdiutions. ..
I'm 17 and before I got into Wicca full time. I first found out by reading Cate Teirnan's Sweep searies and Charmed. I loved the concept of haveing more freedom with my beliefes and not being restrcted but the God-fearing church. I beleive it'll be nice to be around you guys, it'll be nice being with people who have similare beleifs.

well my friend says that my case is very strange born on the 20th of july i have four glyphs two ruling elements(water and fire) two ruling planets(moon and sun) and my third decan is both jupiter and neptune. my chinese zodiac sign is the horse but i dont know much about it. another friend of mine says i'm apathetic and telepathic(she's an empath). I'm basically interested in finding out a bit about what all this means for me. I have an analytical mindset and a lot of what they have told me sounds about right. Anyway i'm 15 and have just recently discovered the world of wicca and very much enjoyed the sweep series. My parents do not approve of it at all so i haven't been able to buy anything remotely involved with the wiccan community(cause i'm poor gonk ). I may write more later when i can get my thoughts in order but right now i really cant think straight.

Saniya, Illiandria, welcome! I was introduced to Wicca by Cate Tiernan's books as well. xd It does seem a very common medium for it. I really hope you guys enjoy your time here. smile
@Saniya: I know what you mean- I shouldn't reeeeeally be scathing about other religions, but I personally find that the church is too tightly wound.
@Illiandria: If you can scrape up the money and you're afraid of your parents finding out through your supplies, you could always look to crystals- they're very, very useful, and you can always argue that you're collecting them because they're pretty. wink If you have broken it to your parents and they just didn't take it well, then hopefully they'll grow into the idea with time. If you haven't told them, it would be a good idea to do so at some stage- Kato made a thread on it in the main forum if you're interested. ^^

Thanks for the welcome^.^ Heh the ironic thing is one of my friends who happens to be a Christian introdused me to Sweep O.o and then my mom...Again a christain...BOUGHT me the currant book I'm using. Lovely irony huh? Yeah...I'm one of few where I live so it's kinda lonely and very oppressing.
