But anyway. I think this is one of my favorite shows! blaugh
I loved every part of it. The part where the dad shatters the cop's glasses was so nasty xp . Yeah, in the begining I was all WTF about the foster mom screaming "nuuuuu" at the mirror when she could have just run around the corner... stressed
But I guess the dad would have killed her eventually anyways. He was so nice to his daughter, yet so evil, I loved it. twisted
My favorite part was when he was trying to kill Clark with the shards of glass and the 2nd gen kryptonite daughter comes in and is all "I don't think so, you hurt my Clarkie, you killed my mommy, you die, b***h! scream "
Heh heh... and she had control over him. What an a** hole...
Another favorite part was when Lex smirked at the end like "Damn, I am the man! cool "
Over all... Clark did a wonderful job directing. Two thumbs up and a bag of popcorn! xd

oh, yeah, definately a great episode. i really felt so sorry for Chloe when Lex started picking on her for never having a boyfriend. Actually, she kind of has, just not in monumental ways. I mean, there's the guy she mentioned that she slept with over that one summer when she was interning at the Daily Planet. And she and Pete were good enough friends to go to a dance together, plus he really liked her in general. Lex was just plain mean! But I guess it would have been childish for Chloe to contradict Lex in what he was saying when it was obvious that he was just picking on her to try to make his and Lana's slow advances less noticable.
But about the ending kiss, I definately noticed Lex's smirk, but Lana, her face was really confusing. It wasn't excited, or happy. It was...hmm, confused at first, and then almost forceful and angry. I'm pretty sure that not all of her motivation for kissing him back was because she was growing to like him. If it wasn't all because she was growing to like him, then maybe it was a kind of revenge against Clark, but more, I think that it might have been her longing to just be physical and intimate with someone again since Clark had denied her that.

I think it had more to do with her "playing" Lex, and a way for him to give her even more information about everything he knows - whether it be about Clark or the spaceship.
This episode would've seemed a hell of a lot more dramatic if the glass dude had accidently got hold of some Kryptonite with his abilities, and had that surround Clark in the barn as well. I mean, I didn't feel any danger for Clark, as he was immune to the glass anyway. But throw some Green K in there, and Maddie's save seems better.
Also, I thought the whole Ryan and Vengence rip-offs weren't a great mix. Not this soon, at least. It was only 5 episodes ago that Clark was talking someone else out of not killing a person for killing their mother.

But im sorry to say that those weren't exactly Boy friends. Chloe has priorities over a love life. Like her job. Chloe is a serious Journalist who wants to succeed with her Dreams. I mean Pualine Kahn Told her "If you want to make it to the top, you have to first start at the bottom" which Chloe took as a Challenge, and she will do what ever it takes to get there. As for the guy she slept with, Jimmy Olsen, Chloe said herself that it was a summer fling. Nothing more. Pete and Chloe were really good friends, and although Pete woud have liked it, Chloe never got the chance to actually "go on a date with him".
