Condensed Version: I said Steve Irwin harassed animals for a living, people attacked me verbally, hilarity ensued, someone said that they were going to report me.
Detailed Version: I went into this thread that was dedicated to Steve Irwin. And well, the girl who made the thread was like, "OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE HE DIED!!!1onety". So I decided I should post... Little did I know, that I was about to be ganged up on by about five people with mini-Steve memorials in their signatures. So I say something like, "You can't honestly say you're shocked... The man harassed animals for a living." And within like, five seconds, there was a reply from someone who said something like, "He didn't harass animals! He was only trying to help them! They didn't even really care. If they were angry, they would have used all their strength to get him off!!1 And you're an insensitive jerk if you don't care because he had family!" So I was getting a bit angry because I had never said that I didn't care. They were making it seem like I'm some vengeful b***h who happy he died, which is false, because when I found out, I was quite sad. I never want anyone to die. So anyway. I said something like, "How would you like it if I came out of effing no where and wrestled you to the ground? Would you be a little bit annoyed or effing pissed?" I don't think she answered my question, but instead said, "If you're so angry with someone, why don't you go yell at people who eat meat?" So I said something like, "Eating meat is a normal part of living. Tackeling animals to the ground is not." And then, the girl who created the thread, who I'll assume was lurking through our arguement, said, "IF ANYONE ELSE POSTS IN THIS FORUM, I"M GOING TO REPORT THEM BECAUSE THIS TOPIC IS NOW CLOSED!!11hsgdsjg ITS NO ONE'S FAULT BUT ((insert the butchered spelling of my previous username "I am the Burger King")) SO NO MORE POSTING!!" Well, her grammar and spelling weren't that great and it was a bit of a run-on sentence, but you see what I mean. Sooo... I posted again anyway, telling her that she couldn't report people for posting in her thread as long as they're not breaking rules. And then she threatened to report me for being mean or something like that. Maybe she did report me. I hope so, because then she'd get a warning from a mod for sending a false report. :B And she deleted most/all of my posts, as if that's going to take away their hate for me. XD I think I got about four PMs from people on my signature. Nothing was bad, people just thought it was funny. XD
So there you have it. I have a bunch of people hating me because I don't love Steve Irwin as much as anyone else.

I agree... it's not like the whole world didn't see his freak animal-related death coming. He was crazy! & he got away with being crazy on national televion, for that I will forever respect him.
But respecting the dead doesn't mean you won't mock them and/or aknowledge the fact that their untimely death was entirely their own fault.
