Stream of conscience time!

On the terminal illness - I actually have an idea for that. AND, there's an animal that would, biologically, cure him of said illness by pretty much doing what said terminal illness would've done ANYWAY. Except, you know, without the dying part. But it's ironic and the character I have in mind is a drug user, so you'll all hate it. XD;

I'd like to see pack animals. Originally I was just going to say "llama", but other such animals, like donkeys, camels, and oxen would be neat-o. And there's plenty a chance for the dreaded irony to come into each of those ideas.

We need more invertibrates. Exoskeleton invertibrates, jellies, seastars, sea urchins, shellfish, scorpions and other arachnids, insects...

On the platypus: the final outcome should be male (even if the person didn't start out as one), because males have poisonous spurrs on their hind legs. <3

Or, speaking of monotremes, an echidna!

Whale, anyone? (Whales creep me out, presonally. Yet dolphins don't. Or, maybe not as much.)

NAUTILIDS.

An actual idea - a singer becoming either a manatee or a dugong. Both were once referred as Sirens, I believe, so having a singer turn intop one would be fun. (You get the added irony if they were anorexic/bulemic and turning into this blubbery creature.) But, of course, manatees and dugongs are neat in their own right.

A chipmunk would also be cool. As a tiny creature, they can stuff the equivalent of several oranges in their cheek pouches, so think of what a human-sized one could do!

Salamanders! Like the Giant Salamander of China and Japan, or those weird, axolotl species of the Yucatan, or thereabout, that have this really *odd* appearance. If only I could rmemeber what they were called.

Street urchins turning into Rock Doves (pigeons.)

If one is going for the extinct serium, might I suggest trilobites, Archaeopteryx/early birds, sea scorpions, giant mammals before the Ice Age (there are HOOVED PREDATORS whose jaws can crush turtle shells), giant moas, or mammal-like reptiles of the age before the dinosaurs?

I tend to have tons of concepts (most extremely silly) and I'd really love to see them getting into the island. So here are my ideas whee


A grumpy, rich old man who'd pay anything for a youth treatment to recover is lost strong built. Possibly gets turned into a rhino or an elephant

A wiseguy who tries to hack into one of Moreau's bank accounts but gets caught. In revenge Moreau turns him into an Oyster and uses him to produce pearls (possibly one of the very few able to be in salt water, since oysters can't walk)

The idea I'm using for my minishop, an employee of Feral Labs who's "rescuing" the animal subjects and selling them as extremely exotic pets. Probably has a co-worker in the mainland

A lunatic that thinks he's an animal and is send to the island by the hospital, to try a radical cure. Moreau turns him into the said animal to research the effects

A mother and her child. A great excuse for Moreau to research the effects on still developing organisms and mother love at the same time

A fisherman getting turned into a crab. Would have loads of trouble with Billy

A barber getting turned into something really hairy, like a Old English Sheepdog

He's obsessed/delusional. This one is a complete lunatic XD
But yeah, it would be interesting to watch 3nodding

Mmm, a couple more that have been perculating in my head...
Someone turning into an Irish Wolfhound (an enourmous hunting dog with the soul of a lapdog), a scotty dog (do I even need to explain this), or a Mini-Pin (Hel~lo there Cerbrutus!)

Someone turning into a pelican or blue-footed bobby (be pretty funny is said person had never seen the ocean before)

Someone turning into a tree-goose. What's a tree-goose? Well, see, there's this legend about a tree that blooms to reveal geese. There's some debate as to whether they're animal or vegetable, but I think it'd be an interesting obscure legend to have pop up...

Ill'd like to see somekind of otherkin, you know, someone who actually would find the changes positive. xd He/she would probably winding up pissing most of the rest of the island off.
