Jezz winced as Renji pounded the floor
"Don't worry" she grumbled "I'm alive, I'll live...I've had worse."
She shifted but stopped. Hell she still couldn't move and that pissed her off more than anything.
"I stuffed...the collar with...shoe rubber." she smiled weakly but it was still full of pride in what she had done. "He...wanted to use that stick on me...He went to hit me...but...i grabbed it...i guess no ones been able....to grab it and withstand the brunt of it" she chuckled. "b*****d was just...hurting that girl...i couldn't take it...Sorry"
She raised her arm and put her hand on her shoulder "You ok though? You were in there...I heard your voice."

Renji grimace, but quickly covered it with a smile, always mindful not to rock back and let his butt rest against his heels. He shook his head.
"You don't have to worry about me, ne? I'm fine. Show rubber....damn I wonder why no one ever thought of that before. What on earth did you use to peel the strips of rubber?"
"Taiki...there are just know words for that 'man'. I hate him so much...all the more now for what he did to you. And I'm so mad I couldn't do anything to help you. I wish I could have saved you from that. If I could have killed him I would have....I'm such a lame." He shook his head, miserable.
"You were right about me...I am weak,," he laughed shortly, though without a trace of mirth, and as his eyes drifted to the ceiling, tears could be seen sparkling n them. "Damn, what would my gang think of me if they could see me now. Some leader, ne? Don't I just strike the fear of god within your heart?"

Jezz smiled
"I have tough hands, peeling rubber was less painful than taking that stick."
Jezz felt her smile waver as she saw him so defeated. ?He thought himself weak?
"You can't be weak if you were physically inable to do something...a cat doesnt think its weak cuz it can't fly...."
Her eyebrows tilted back when she saw the tears glitter in his eyes and she half smiled at his final statment.
"Every damned minute" she told him and she lifted her hand from his shoulder and grabbed his chin. She pulled his face down and met his lips with her own. No one had ever been so upset over her. And for something he had no control over. What the hell was wrong with this kid anyway? She hadn't a clue, she just wanted him to stop making her feel so god damned bad!

Renji was startled at first, but melted into the kiss quickly enough, his own hand going instinctively to the back of Jezz's neck. His tongue passed through his lips and through hers as well tentavily at first, then with a bit more confidence. The girl could kiss, he had to give her that.
After a while he pulled away, if for no other reason than to clear his head. As he took a deep breath, he felt a funny fluttering in his stomach.
"Jezzabella...you are full of s**t. Arigato." he laughed softly. "I don't think anyone strikes fear into your heart, not even the devil himself." His hand still behind her neck he rested his forehead against hers, grinning slightly.
"I'm so glad you are all right, Jezz-chan. You'll be sore for a while, but it could have been so much worse...if Taiki wasn't so unexpectedly overbooked, who knows what he might have done. Now onto my next problem..." He heaved a heavy sigh.
"Oi, I'm such an idiot. I said something so stupid, as usual, and really hurt Cyndir's feelings. I owe him such an apology it's not even funny."

Jezz had only ment it to inittially be a soft regular kiss, just to shut the boy up. However, that wasn't what their mouths had in mind. Jezz and Renji's mouth melded, their tongues lost in a tangle, lost was the word for it as she stopped thinking all together while they kissed. She didn't even know how long they had kissed for but he was the first one to pull away. Her tongue swept out and ran over her bottom lip that was slightly puckered from the kissing.
"Call me that again Benji and i take you to the vet to get you fixed" she mumbled wincing at the contact with her forehead.
"Sorry" she mumbled "I think that a** slammed my face down into the table..."
She heard him speak of his problem and she frowned "What did you say to him?" she asked curiously

Renji sigh again, slowly climbing to his feet, resisting the urge to wince. He rubbed the back f his neck, keeping his head ducked in shame.
"it was pretty bad. I don't even remember what it was exactly. I was just so mad and it just slipped out. Something about some guy lighting his fire....I knew I shouldn't have said it, I wish I hadn't. I was sorry the second it came out but you can't unsay something...I did the one thing I promised I never would, I threw his past in his face, just to hurt him."
Renji made his way over to the window, and stared out sightlessly as he leaned against the sill.
"I was just so...I dunno..I wanted to hurt him the way it felt like he was hurting me. That's always my first reaction, to lash out. It's a terrible habit, but it's never really manifested itself in front of Cyn-kun. I guess...I guess I'm jealous or something..."
The boy whirled around to face Jezz once more. He went to sit against the windowsill, but straightened up rigidly as the color abruptly drained from his face. He took a few seconds to regain his composure before speaking again.
"You know....Cyndir was the first friend I made when I got here. We came in pretty close together, maybe only a few days apart. We just seemed to naturally gravitate toward one another....but now there's Sanzo...why did he have to come and ruin everything? Man, to think we were actually kind of friends, and now all I want to do is ring his neck..."

Jezz sighed and lifted her arm and beckoned to Renji
"Renji-kun....c'mere" she mumbled not moving much to avoid too much pain
Renji lifted himself from the window sill as to not make her keep herself in pain. He crouched beside her and she gave him a smile
"You know Renji..." she slid her hand up his arm to his neck and then smacked him in the side of the head
"Stop screwin up Cyn for your own selfish pleasures. If he wants to be with some guy who lights his fire let him! Or should you have Cyn starting to beat you up cuz for some reason you seem to be following me around?" she asked raising an eye brow "Should he want to wring my neck?"

Renji scowled.
"Ow, Jezz, dam, what the hell. Don't you think there's been more than enough violence for one day?" The boy frowned, looking down into his cut up palm. Well, didn't that serves as a lovely reminder of his idiocy...
"I'm not screwing up Cyndir...well...I don't mean to. Ah, hell you don't understand!" His shoulders slumped. "And I don't follow you around," he added as an afterthought.

Jezz pushed herself up onto her hands and knees
"Don't touch me" she growled instantly.
She knew the moment Renji saw she was in pain he would want to help. She wasn't an invalid.
She took a deep breath as the pain in her back burned. It didn't hurt hell as much as it could have been. When she caught her breath she looked to the side out from under her hair
"sorry" she mutttered for snapping.
She shifted slowly and sat up. She looked down at the shirt that hung just half off her bra
"I wonder what they'd say if I wore this" she chuckled to herself, her left hand went up to her shoulder and her palm lay on it and a chill went up her spine at the thought of the tongue that went up it. Her shoulder rolled and hunched trying to forget, yet the movment was just accompanied by the pain across the rest of her back. Stupid man.

Renji snatched back his hand as though Jezz had bitten him at her sudden exclamation. Baka, of course she was sore, you saw her get whipped with your own eyes, he thought glumly. Talk about self-absorbed. How quickly he forgot about those around him. In the grand scheme of things, he'd gotten off far lighter than anyone, though his humiliation was just as thorough.
"Gomenasai. Jezz chan...Is there anything I can do for you?"

Jezz pushed her hair away from her face and winced at her face
"What th-" she looked in the mirror to see a bruise starting around her eye
"Greeeat...." she muttered glumly touching it gently "Well i said i liked extreme..."
The girl took her hand away from her shoulder and smiled at Renji
"No I'll live Renji. Arigato for asking though." She pushed her hair back with one hand over the top of her head and her white bangs fell back down around her face.
She looked over at him and frowned a bit
"Why...did you come here anyways?" she asked. "Looking to get some free action or something by showing your a good guy?" she poked her tongue out playfully

"I came becaues I like you and wanted to make sure you were all right. Believe me, action is the last thing on my mind... And I'm obviously not a good guy. I really need to go find Cyn-kun...you up for a tag-along, or do you wanna get some rest?" Renji made his way stiffly over to the door hating ever minute of it. He cringed at the thought of going all the way to the boy's dorms.

Jezz went to stand but stopped
"Oi...If you said something about sexuality...something that harsh...it'd be best to let him wait it out...talk to him tomorrow...if you rush in your gonna confuse the hell outta the poor boy and then he'll have like some sort of break down"
She pulled herself back on the bed a bit but didn't move much
"Come sit down" she motioned to the bed "Or lay...i dunno what they did to ya"

Dark brows drew tightly together. Had it been almost anyone else he would have instantly dismissed the words with something along the lines of "What do you know". But he pondered, idly tugging on an ear. He made his way back over to Jezz, the thoughtful expression still on his face.
"Really...you think so?" He blanched at mention of sitting down. "Yeah, I think I'll lay...if you don't mind. Apparently somebody thought it would be funny to designate a spanking for me. Some people have a really twisted sense of humor....and Taiki enjoys his job far too much..." He plopped forward on the bed, because that what he did. He never laid, or sat, he always plopped.

Jezz raised an eyebrow and pursed her lips togheter trying not to smile but she couldn't help it and she laughed a bit
"I'm sorry I'm sorry. But spanking? I think thats more for toddlers and really kinky bedrooms"
She covered her face trying to sober up
"Ok really I am sorry, I'd be mad if someone laughed at me for getting whipped..." she said the words and started laughing even tho her back hurt "Oy, the ******** whipped me...with a whip! I just realized.....that detention room is like some bad porn movie!" she laughed again and then sighed calming down.
"Well if thats all he did to you then your back should be fine" she said lifting the back of his uniform up. "For comin and checking up on me" she said before he could ask her what she was doing and she pressed her thumbs and forefingers into his back in spots she knew would automatically relax his body. "Growing up my family had alot of different....pass times....but my Uncle Louie wanted to be a massage therapist...I hung around with him alot" she spoke as her fingers moved up his back and found every knot working it out, and remembering the reflexology to send a few pleasurable electric jolts through his nervous system.
