V-_W ... whatever Yeah, basically. In 1996 Maynard asked to hear Billy's demos, and offered himself as a vocalist should he decide to start a band. Billy originally had a female vocalist in mind. That would explain The Constantly Consuming mix for the Hollow.

After eMOTIVe and seeing them live, they're music is tainted to me. I now find them quite tacky. I used to love Mer De Noms and 13th Step, no i have no desire for them what so ever. I don't mind so much if they broke up. They should've done it prior to eMOTIVe.

Emotive was an awful step for them, and so was their song placement in numerous movies, but when I look at it, Mer de Noms and Thirteenth Step were amazing and I can't shun them for those incidents. As far as live quality goes, I'm undecided. I've heard some amazing APC concerts and then I've heard some really lousy performances.

truthfully I do not want A Perfect Circle to break-up but I think that is Maynard's decision not ours. APC have made great songs and tried to fill a hole where Tool once stood. But the power of Tool's fans dominated. Tool is a much better band in my opinion, but I think if they do break-up they will definetly get back together.

Oh jeez....i can't even think about APC over.....
It's horrible for me. i really do hope they make at least one more album.
Mer de Noms and Thirteenth Step were so awesome. Not to mention Emotive and Amotion....
I still have hope...i really love this band.... crying

APC is over. Let's hope Tool will be back.

I thinks A Perfect Circle is done, unfortunately. They've been my favorite band for ages. Though, Maynard did say they may get back together, depending on the circumstances...
You have to excuse eMotive. It was just to get out of a contract. APC made music for reasons other than fame/fortune. They couldn't do work their style or method with the company holding that contract over their heads.
I don't think you could really compare APC and Tool. The two bands have completely different styles.
On a side note: What do you think about Maynard's other side project, Puscifer?
