The large male had left the two females whom he had persuaded to join him not too far away. They were resting for their journey accross the sands. Of course, the scent of Harabu had caught his nose and that aggitated him. The little twit could ruin everything if he said anything to the two females before he got them to the oasis. His tail lashed the jet black tip flicking in a sparodic fashion.
The dappled light played from above and danced upon his pure white and salmon coat, casting shadows accross his dark, honey gold eyes. He had to stay quiet. To alert the two females to his real plans would be disaster. they must think he was merciful not a slave driver. At least until he had them in his own lands.
His brow furrowed though as he ame in to close vesinity with Harabu, theer was a female with him? Reckless fool. Still he stepped forwards in to the light looking down at the two, hisd hulking form towering over them both. "Harabu, why are you here? and what is this?" he pointed a claw at the female none comitally. Licking his fangy chops he awaited a reply, casting a long shadow over them both.

Amani opened her eyes fully, looked to the older lion, and cringed away slightly. He was definately larger than she was and more than likely capable of killing her. She didn't know whether she should answer him or let Harabu, considering it had been Harabu he had addressed. She looked to the young black lion for an answer.

Harabu got up and walked over to Nyek placing himself between them. His tail flicked behind him and his facial expressions changed. "She is the one you asked me to fetch." He tried to make it clear through expressions and body language what she was really going to be used for but at the same time, he didn't want her to know. "She came willingly to see you, sir. Will I take her straight to the oasis? After all, you could possibly talk there?" He sat down in front of the older lion, not looking back at the younger one.

Something definately wasn't right here, Amani began to think as she frowned at the back of Harabu's head. She hadn't come willingly, or completely willingly. Harabu had threatened to kill her if she didn't come with him.
Well, he hadn't forcibly dragged her here, but it wasn't like it had been her idea to go, nor did she really have much of a choice but to follow him.

Nyekundu smirked. Ah, the boy was using a bit of brain for once. The black maned lion smirked, showing his fangs "Yes, get there before sun up tomorrow I will be arriving midd morning before the sun is at it's zennith." Nyek's tail flickered as he peered at the little female "I'm sure she will come of use to you harabu, do make sure it doesn't get out of line" He smirks and lifts a claw. He playfully and almost gently cuffs the younger male. A warning perhaps or something a little more fatherly? Who was to know? The pink tainted male worked in mysterious ways.
The large male turned his golden eyes upon the little female then and he smirked "My name is Nyekundu, you will adress me as sir or lord you are to follow Harabu's orders to the letter you will hunt and bring him and him alone your kills unless I tell you to go with the rest of the lionesses and hunt for the group." he licked his fangs "Do you understand me?" his eyes flashed and he pushed past Harabu, leaning down, the golden eyes flickered maniacally. He'd had enough of his sweet tongued he needed to bully someone today "I won't hesitate to kill you" he licked his fangs, his breath hot, a look of challange me to, I will in those deep honey glazed eyes.
Finally with a laugh he turns back to Harabu and nudges the younger male once again. "I'll see you tomorrow, don't dally and tell this female to hunt when you get there, no dubt the queen will require a meal." With that said he headed back towards the jungle, he had his own females to deal with, he didn't wish for them to see he was gone.

Harabu bowed his head to Nyek once all was said and done, he then turned back to the femme and smiled. "Follow me." The quicker he got her to the oasis the less chance of her running away, especially as between here and the oasis was nothing more then a desert, pretty vast one as well.

Amani 's eyes had clearly shown her fear for the large male when he addressed her, but as soon as he was gone, she rounded on Harabu. There was still fear in her eyes, but it was accompanied by confusion and... Could it be anger?
"What is this? He ordered me like I was a part of his pride," she asked him as everything started to click in her mind. Harabu had brought her here. He'd threatened her. Now this older lion ordered her as one would a... a slave. He, too, had threatened her life. Fear coursed through her as the final conclusion fell into place with a resounding click. She was trapped.

Harabu just smiled. "Thats because you are. Run now and the whole lot of us will hunt you down and kill you. Your freedom is no longer in existance. No follow me and then the rest can be explained!" He let out a small snarl and started to walk off. They better get to the oasis soon, Nyek didn't seem to want them around for long.

She couldn't believe what she was hearing! Amani stared at Harabu in shock for a moment, but only for a moment. Then, after going over the few options she had, she hung her head in defeat and followed him. To think, she had actually pitied the cold, black lion, she thought with a snort of contempt at her own stupidity. If only she had stayed by the thorn patch, none of this would have happened. The thorn patch...
It hit her hard and hurt more than a stone.
Tufani, Jani'... Safura, Jinamizi, Chukari, even her butterfly. She was never going to see them again, was she? "No... No, I won't," she whispered. An empty ache filled her as she followed Harabu. But she wouldn't cry. Not when he could see her. Later, on the hunt when she was alone, she would let out all her grief and frustration.

Harabu let a snarl stay in his throat as he led her out of the jungle and into the desert. They walked for quite a while under the harsh gaze of the red sun, but it stayed watching them and they had to keep walking.
Harabu had gotten use to the desert, the sand under his paws and he was adjusting. He only ever found the oasis by using the sun, it always seemed to work somehow, he always got back to the place he called home. "Here we are. Now go and get a drink." He also went and lapped up some cool water, it was needed!

Harabu stepped into the water, he still wasn't to keen with sand being on his paws, so he had to wash it all off! He turned to her and smiled. "This is your home now. You are nothing more then a slave, you always will be." He then walked up to her, a smirk on his face before lifting his paw. Maybe a mark on her rump would show her she wasn't to leave.

Amani's eyes were downcast so she did not see his upraised paw as she ran first her right, then her left paw under the water. She nodded as he spoke. "I understand. Well, I don't understand why me, but I do understand that this... place is my home now," she replied, her voice strained from wanting to shout at him.
Harabu wasn't much larger than her. If she tried, she might be able to escape from him, but not his whole pride. She wanted to hate him. But it wasn't in her to hate. And part of her still pitied Harabu.
She stepped around him and into the water to wash the sand from her back paws. The sun was still crawling high into the sky, so she knew if she was to try and hunt that the chances of her actually bringing something down were very slim.

He would have hit her but what was the point in that right now? After all he would only get in trouble by Nyek and that wasn't clever. "Go hunt girl. I will be waiting here."
He looked at his reflection, he was a good looking lion, his black coat coming from his mother, the red, goodness knows where that came from but it came from somewhere!

"I doubt I'll have any luck," she muttered as she walked past him. She disappeared into the undergrowth and paused for a moment, listening. Nothing.
Amani continued on, exploring her new home as she hunted. She enve ventured out into the desert a little. When she came across a small group of antelope, she ducked down and slowly crept forward. She almost lost them when one of them felt her prescence and sent the group into running. She was able to bring down a smaller one, but not before it got a lucky kick into her shoulder.
She ignored the throb as she considered what to do next. Though it was small, the antelope was still too big for her to carry back to Harabu whole. And if she left it, a scavenger might take it. She huffed, frustrated over her problem.
