((Ok, I'll get a start here so we can in the least do SOMETHING))

Kokuza's face tightened. The dull ache in his chest had been growing in sharpness over the last hour, and he had begun to wonder how long he could keep the beast in check. The dizzying scents of old magic did little to help his focus, and it was difficult to retain the ancient breathing techniques that he had learned.

"Where is this... Mistress Valda, Ryu? Staying in one place for too long seems very unwise to me." Kokuza rasped.

"Up the stairs!" he said, waving...then stopped, turning to notice his friend's condition slowly worsening, "Uh...we better hurry,"

Ryutsume strode to the stairs, Edge clanking noisily at his side and he did a light jog. Upon reaching the entrance to the stairwell, he turned and faced his companion, jogging in one place uneasily.

Kokuza followed Ryu's trotting bounds with heavy, listing feet and clambered up the stairs, one hand at his chest, the other tenaciously riding the handrail. He stumbled once, but quickly regained his step before Ryu could notice. He hoped, silently that Valda might be able to issue some at least superficial relief.

((Yay, Geck!))

With a bound, the emerald-haired swordsman and Kokuza headed up the stairs as fast as they could. After a minute or more of stumbling around in the darkness of the stairwell, the two finally reached the top, where a pair of steel doors faced them and then swung on their own. Inside, Ryutsume and Kokuza could see a series of shelves lining the walls, covered in more tomes, and body parts in jars. Skulls hung on the walls, and a purple-haired sorceress read from an old book uneasily just as they entered. At her side was a small, humanoid creature, with scaly brown skin, a dirty sleeveless toga and something that looked like a theatre mask. It was Mistress Valda, the one they sought.

((So here we are, one authentic RO sorceress and her RO goblin attendant...if you have problems picturing him, just imagine a shy-guy from Mario.

Kurio, Geck, whatever you want to be called now, you can post in between Kokuza and meself.))

Kokuza stood as steadily as he could, unsure of how to best address the sorceress. He looked to Ryu for guidance in the matter.

((short post, meh.))

(( Alrriiiiiight. xD Time for the random, out of order postage, just because I need something to do. gonk

Hope j00 don't mind ))

Kurio, Geck, Zeid, whatever you prefer, casually walked down the streets, examining each shop's sign as he went. After only a mere three minutes of walking, though, he discovered what he was looking for - the weapons shop.

"Mmph, good." He murmured, opening the door to said shop, before stepping inside.

"I need some throwing knives, a staff, some exploding spheres..." He said as he walked in, not knowing anyone was inside. Once he discovered this fact, however, he glanced around curiously, then shrugged and jumped over the counter, helping himself to what he needed.

It wasn't stealing if you were mabye going to give it back, right?

Either way he could care less, and grasped the best metal staff he could find. It was durable, he figured, so he attached a sturdy strip of cloth, which he strung around the staff carefully, adding a sort of holder for his newly obtained weapon. Promptly he strung the strap over his shoulders, causing the staff to hug against his back diagonally.

As for throwing knives, he wasted no time at all "borrowing" a belt which contained slots to put the secondary weapons in. He needed a belt anyways, since his slacks were about ready to fall down to his ankles.

The exploding spheres, however, seemed a bit out of the ordinary. They were black little balls that had thin string attached to the top. When grasped correctly, the heat from one's palm would cause the spheres to radiate a deep crimson hue, which signified they would explode upon impact. For some strange, magical reason, they could not explode unless grasped. Five were contained in each small pouch, so he grabbed two and attached them to his new belt.

"Good!" He said to himself as he made his way out the door, before seating himself on the nearest bench outside. Kurio then proceeded to remove the alcohol from his pocket, which he uncorked, and he began to drink the contents.

(( I didn't spellcheck or anything, so the post prolly sucks. ))

Whatever the attendant that stood near Valda was, it began to sniff the air as Kokuza glanced at his friend uneasily. The...thing hissed in fear and bolted behind Valda, who closed the book thunderously. This made Ryutsume jump a bit. Her head rose, a pair of sultry, eagle-like eyes stared ahead. First, her gaze fixated on Kokuza, standing at her door, then she turned to Ryutsume.

"What other evils have you brought before me now, Ryutsume Haldorsson?" hummed the sorceress, fixating on the green-haired man.

Ryutsume straightened up, tight and tense, scratching the back of his head and trying to explain. Only stutters fell from his mouth as he babbled in fright, face turning a deep red.

Valda sighed. He was still hopeless, "Then perhaps your friend can tell me," and so her eyes turned to Kokuza again. She levelled her head, Hmm...a handsome one, she thought, resting her chin on an open palm.

"Mistress Valda..." Kokuza's voice was tight and dry. "I must first apologize for involving you in this dire matter, but we are few and lacking in strength and knowledge enough to deal with a situation that has grown desperately out of hand. We seek your counsel, and, if you can be persuaded, your help." Kokuza coughed.
"Before I explain, do you know of Ahrim?"
