yup that's the logic of all teens i believe.
work= car car= fun... parents= uncool and unreliable.

i don't see boredom fitting unless you talk about being bored without a job. which seems like a strange concept. most of the time people are happy to get days off. but then again i speak from experience and sometimes after several days it does get boring. but it wouldn't be boring if we didn't have to work to buy things all things would be free. just be the first one to grab it but then chaos would ensue when certain people start wars over the smallest of things. plus how would all the parts needed for things be gotten? if everyone else is taking it or whatever then how will teh people building the things we need get them in time to make the stuff. or is this just me rambling on about insane things that won't ever happen and make no sense?
