I've been running a lot.. it's horrible. wink I can't wait to go. I believe me I feel... have felt... your pain. But believe me also, it will help soooo much. I don't know if you want it or care but here is a word of advice from my experience at the Naval Academy basic... don't be the best... no matter what, don't be the best at anything. It makes it sooo much harder. I saw it happen to the people who were the best runners, who were the first at anything, myself as the best in my squad with the daily rates... it just singles you out in a place you don't want to be singled out. That said... also don't be last, thats just as bad... if not worse. The best place to be is somewhere around third. Third person done eating, third person done with your bed (and then help others xd ), third person across the finish line. Anyways, take it or leave it, that is my advice... and that of many of my friends who have completed basic as well. xd

But, I have a DEP meeting today... any advice is appreciated very much, btw.

My husband is in the navy, has been in for almost three years. He is not sure he will be resigning at the end of his contract or if they will even let him, he has high blood pressure due to the nuclear program he was in.

Well guys, I go to the hotel Sunday and I ship Monday. I just shipped my fiance out to the Army today. Yay and all that stuff, so I probably won't be seeing you all for the next couple of months.

They will probably let him, but that 45-60 grand re-up bonus is hard to ignore . . . but, i havent done the fleet work yet, im between "A" school, and Power school.

I have been officially enlisted in the U.S. Navy. I am going to be a Store Keeper and I get shipped off on September 13. I go to Mississippi for training after I'm done in Great Lakes. They're making me enlist for 5 years instead of 4 because I chose the $4000 enlistment bonus.

I'll be running like a madman too before the summer starts! And swimming too. I love to swim. That part of the PT test might actually be enjoyable. Anyone else going to be an IS?
