This may be a stupid question, but how do you determine your range? Like, soprano, etc? I think I'm below soprano, but not sure where below sopranao.

BritishRoxtar This may be a stupid question, but how do you determine your range? Like, soprano, etc? I think I'm below soprano, but not sure where below sopranao. lol it's not a stupid question at all ..most people actually don't know, below soprano is mezzo soprano and alto, and there is such thing as female tenors razz but ok soprano range is normally from middle C ( the C below the treble staff) to about the C above the treble staff. Mezzo soprano is normally from about the A below middle C to about the A above the staff bar Alto range is normally from the F below middle C to the E on the treble staff if you know what's your highest and lowest notes i can tell you what range and how many octaves razz

it takes use of your vocal chords...it's not actually singing but growling is welcome...just as long as your cautious to how far you push your vocal chords

Yeah that's what my director said. No I sing Alto on Falsetto. I can hit Second soprano but I can't maintain it for very long, but Alto is managable for me. That an our Alto's need someone to help them out, and I love tutoring people with music ^^~
