He learns people too ******** fast. stare If you say so. So far I have only been beaten by one guy, and that sucked to cause it was the final round in the tournament. xp and it was a cheap shot to. *Had* to be edge-guarding. That's the only explanation I can think of for that remark. Edge-guarding sucks. stressed

Here is 10 things that happened at my job (I work night shifts at a gas station; it's sooo glamourous!):
arrow A stray dog got inside the store and wouldnt leave. We managed to cage it until a dog catcher arived. The dog evaded the dog catcher and was hit by a car, moments before the owner arived.
arrow A man high on meth, stripped his clothes off and kept hitting his head on the pavement until he passed out in the parking lot. I have never seen so many squad cars, fire engines and ambulances in one area at the same time. There were so many, customers couldnt even come in to get gas. They bitched to us about it later.
arrow A man came in with absolutely no skin on his forearm. It was a case of road-rash, and he had no health insurance, no job and no home; so he had been walking around like that for about a month. The edges of his torn skin was turning black and he had developed blood poisoning.
arrow A drunk lady was abandoned by her husband in the parking lot. We let her use the phone to call someone, and she stole some beer instead. I called the cops, and they let her go since my boss told me not to press charges. She wondered away in her nightgown, drunk and all alone in the streets at 3am.
arrow At 2am, I was working alone when some guys who just got out of jail decided to meet up at my store. One guy had to take a major dump because the jail food was bad. We dont have public rest rooms, but I wasnt going to say no to this guy. The other was super pissed because his house was ram-sacked while he was in prison.
arrow There is a local teenage drop out with ADD who kept coming in to see me. It became an unhealthy obsession when he showed up at my house when I didnt even give him my address. I called the police on him when he started to hit my a** with hotdogs at work. The cops suggested I place a restraining order against him, an they told him he will be tresspassing if he came back.
arrow A homeless lady came in and badgered customers for money. She invaded everyone's personal space and would not leave. I called the cops and they told her to leave, but she came back an hour later. She ended up going home with a customer who gave her money for a service.
arrow I found another job and was about to start, when my boss offered me a hell of a lot more money to stay. Like a fool,I took it. I am getting paid more than the people who have been there over 4 years, and got an unheard of promotion in such a small amount of time. The rest of the employees found out, and they became extremely jelous. They slander me and talk s**t behind my back.
arrow A cop pulled over a car as per routeen at 2am. The four teenagers got out and ran. One of them dumped a bag of weed in a trashcan in my parking lot. He was busted, but the others were still on the run. The police sent out a chopper to shine a spot light directly on my store. People in the area were woken up and decided to come into my store and b***h because they couldnt go back to sleep.
arrow The kid with ADD came back after a 3 month break. Apparently he broke into a store and was jailed. As soon as he got out, he came to see me. The cops caught him trespassing and hauled him away again. He has been banned from half a dozen places in the district.
arrow A pair of brothers who lived out of their van, decided to spend the night in my parking lot. The female customers were scared to park next to them, and complained to me. The cops came and raided their van, asking me if I wanted them removed. I told them the store has a no loitering policy, and the homeless guys gave me the evil eye. Im waiting for them to come back and exact their revenge.
Whoops, thats 11 things... sorry guys.

Sage Ruffin Lightbringer2929 KenrickS Sorry to break it to you light dude, but serious man, Kei would beat you. I dunno if it'd be easy or not but he'd beat you. He learns people too ******** fast. stare If you say so. So far I have only been beaten by one guy, and that sucked to cause it was the final round in the tournament. xp and it was a cheap shot to. *Had* to be edge-guarding. That's the only explanation I can think of for that remark. Edge-guarding sucks. stressed It was worst than edge-guarding. This guy used the cheap-a** DK throw. He jumped off the side carrying me and throw me out the side before he fell to the bottom. I am still pissed stressed . But edge-guarding would have pissed me off to.

You could've wriggled your way out of that predicament. Now, cheap is when you're fighting a Kirby player on your last stock life, and he suddenly grabs you when you both happen to be fighting near the edge and he plummets downard with you, Izuna Drop style. There's no way to escape from that, and you always die a split second before he does, so he gets the win. I've escaped and come back from many a DK throw scenario.

Not impossible....just really damaging on your controller with the amount of mashing you'd have to do in such a short amount of time, since it counts from the moment you're grabbed. Who were you using?

But yeah it sucked and believi me I tried to escape.

Your health percentage must have been pretty high, then, to be thrown off the stage from DK's carry position and not be able to return, even on a small stage like Yoshi's Island. Sort of low down, but not so much as to be classified as cheap, as even in that circumstance, the only reason you wouldn't have been able to come back was because you had a high health percentage...that and the fact that you were using Roy, who has VERY little horizontal range to his Up+B attack/third jump, resulting in you having to use the first slash in his Forward+B combo attack over and over to continuously give yourself that slight inch toward the edge each time you slash before doing your third jump... ...whereas with Kirby, it doesn't matter where your health is, or who you have. If you both are fighting near the edge, and he has his back to it and happens to grab you, your only hope is that when he does his backwards throw, that your character stays rooted to the spot, which happens sometimes, oddly enough. It results in him flying downward off the edge all by himself, still attempting the throw, and he can't recover from the fall.

If you move the joystick that way as you do the up B. Belive me it was cheap.

Still, doesn't the fact that your health percentage wasn't very high sort of contradict what point you're tryin' to make? Even if yall was that far out there, if your health wasn't that high, wiggling free shouldn'tve been hard to do at all, and even if he managed to throw you, recovery shoulda been hella easy. It was for me when Kei did just what you said earlier today, just to see your point. Both of us were magnified when I let him jump over on that cloud and chunk my a**, and I came back fine. Prolly was right on the brink of that "death" point, but I still came back. Alos, I ain't no mod here or nothing, but shouldn't yall prolly copy yall conversation to the Melee thread in the fighitng game section so somebody can erase this and get this thread back on track? neutral
