LelioChan The only performances I liked were Kellie's, Paris', and Taylor's. Everyone else made me want to SPEW COOKIES. (Esp. Elliot and Katherine... what were they thinking.....) And I agree: Ace trying to get Brian and Rog to change We Will Rock You!? WHAT THE HECK? I was so mad. ;_; I hate Chris, but I thought he would've been better off doing I'm In Love With My Car... he's got that rough voice like Roger... only Roger's good. xDD Agreed. Also, I would absolutely love to see Ace put out a grease fire with his face. scream

My mom watches American Idol, so I watched it with her. And I was disappointed personally. I can't believe Paula said that the reason Queen never sang the one song live, is because they wouldnt have been able to do it as good as the guy who sang it. And after Paris sang The Show Must Go On I went to bed and cried, because it got me all depressed and she was too happy after she sang it for me.
My mom kept telling me that they were supposed to take the songs and make them their own, but...You cant really change Queen. You just can't. I wanted to scream and throw something at the television, but I didnt think she would have appreciated that.

Reiteration for great justice. Jabberwocky Sinope XXVII Also, I would absolutely love to see Ace put out a grease fire with his face. scream Yeah. I enjoyed the ******** out of that article. Except for the last bit--I don't like Elliott. And Taylor looking like a doofus was the highlight of the show. rofl

From the About Effing Time Department: I finally got around to putting the second half of the show onto my hard drive, and then onto my site. I split the video up into two files, both of which are under 17.5 megabytes. Yeah, I left the judges' critiques in. Dem Files Part 1 - "Who Wants To Live Forever" and "Somebody To Love" Part 2 - "Crazy Little Thing Called Love", "The Show Must Go On", and the recap

Popo-Licious American Idol Upcoming Theme ShowsYou might be a little rock 'n roll, but American Idol is going to be all country this Tuesday. The Top 9 will tackle the world of country and we'll see who's got the chops to move forward. Then, on Wednesday, come back for the results and a very special performance by the legendary Kenny Rogers. Then, on Tuesday, April 11th, the Top 8 Contestants will take on the music of the legendary Rock Band, QUEEN. Will someone be able to top Constantine's performance of Bohemian Rhapsody? Tune in to find out! Then, come back on Wednesday for a special hour episode, when the Top 8 will also perform a QUEEN song or medley!Source: American Idol Official Page It's bad enough that my family watches this show, but having to watch this WITH them? Ah! How embarrassing! xd I might have a Roger-spasm in front of my folks or something! Anyways, what do you guys think? Will it be the worst case scenario? A horrible greatest hits show full of horrendous covers? I think so... Personally, I'm a little worried that one of the lesser-qualified contestants is going to dust of a little-know classic and kill the song completely. Hmm... Also, does anyone think that perhaps Brian or Roger will step in as a celebrity judge? I'm not sure how the selection process works, but still, maybe it's a possibility. Whether you watch American Idol or not, let's hear some feedback! Amen to that!

I completely agree with that article up there, except for the bit about Innuendo; that's my favorite song. I wanted to cry after Chris murdered it, though. That whole, entire episode was a fiasco. The whole show is a fiasco. It makes it look like it's easier than ever to become a rockstar, when it's really not; look at all the talent that is lost to that show, whether it's because somebody's fat, uglier than somebody else, or just refuses to be shaped by the American Idol cookie cutter. Could you imagine what would have happened if Freddie Mercury, who has the most amazing voice of ANYBODY, tried out?
Simon: No. Your teeth are horrendous. Randy: Yo, dawg, that was tight! But yo teeth jut out of yo mouth too much, you know what I'm sayin', dawg? Paula: That was horrific. Why can't you sing more like that Chris Daughtry person? You could definitely learn something from him.
Man, do I hate that show! I did record this episode on VHS, though, just so I can see Brian and Roger. heart But my sacrifice for that is having to sit through Bucky's honkey-tonk version of Fat Bottomed Girls, Ace Young strutting around, MURDERING We Will Rock You, and, perhaps worst of all, that Pickler singing an off-key, hill billy version of my baby, Bohemian Rhapsody.
"Maw-muh, ew-ew-ew-ew, de-idn't mean tew make yew crah..."
And Paula should suffer for saying that Queen wasn't good enough to perform a song that that bald monkey Chris sang!!! scream
American Idol should be taken off the air...

Thank whatever deity you wish that i don't have a television where i live. And Paula is suffering, dearie... she's an American Idol judge. It could have been worse though... how's about a William Hung rendition of "Killer Queen"?

I watched that episode; because I'm so obsessed. I wasn't even in a Queen OD when I watched it either. And, I don't usually watch it either, so me watching part of that season was surprising anyway.
I loved Paris, I thought she should have won; I actually voted for her on my cell phone several times. I don't like how they made Brian's comment about that one guy wanting to change WWRY sound... they made Bri sound kind of like an a**, which was completely misleading; but that my friends, is the joy of editing and taking statements out of context.

I didn't get to watch the show, but the part I did catch was with that Red guy singing Bohemian Rhapsody. I was very surprised... I couldn't believe it when he sang. I don't want to be mean it's just he was horrible! Then when he was 'trying' to act cool and seem like Simon was wrong.... I couldn't believe that he compared himself to Freddie Mercury....
