I think I know what you're getting at. More like an on-going RP with perhaps a certain key action in mind. Once done, that's the couple which gets to breed. Or some such thing...

I'm rather intesting in ED's and Chibi's idea. It would have to be a joint affair of both Taurs.

Maybe something like having to find the mystic/hero and then the fertility berry. Or atleast something along those lines.

Definatly, for the first breeding, it would be nice to let the rp regulars get the first chance.

The catch to the contest is that I want to keep the child born for my own (as an RP alternative to Chane). With this in mind the parents need to be at least semi active in the shop, so an RP event of some sort would be best.

I do like the idea of both parents entering the event together... makes a lot of sense.

Don't worry about there being a lot of reading =P I read insanely fast and I have a high reading accuracy level =P it's really just when I have to comunicate back to people that I tend to fail XP

ummm... I like the idea of going to see the mystic... I'm going to make the mystic a well known figure on the island (I mean she's been around for ages she's nothing new) she's just a new feature to the shop.

Since she's the patron of those desireing children and those expecting what if we did an RP where the couple in question visited her shrine and make a... offering? request? plea? not sure of the right word here.

The RP would be limited in length, and both owners would have to participate... also that way I don't acctualy have to be present with the Mystic... the RP can be compleated at any time....

just a thought though, I'd be happy to improve on it ^^

Cyn, how about going to the mystic for advice on breeding/fertility? And then from there have the mystic ask for something in trade for the information.

I like the shrine idea, you could even make it a sticky here in the guild. Instead of "opening" slots per se, people just come by at times and you can post either that the Mystic comes or that there's a rush of wind and nothing more (to symbolize no breedings at the mo).

What I ment was that they wouldn't get the information for free. They'd either have to give up something, or even just do a chore.
It would be along the lines of 'you can't get anything for free"
