"Oh..." She said, studying her as if the matter was quite serious. "I comprehend... I did see Americans on the island like that." She thought for a few moments, then she picked up the glass and took a very small sip at the drink, the expression in her eyes obvious that it still burned, but she was thirsty and it wasn't all that bad, so she forced it down. Talk about acquired tastes.

After downing her own drink and waving the cabana boy over for more, Maryke sat back and watched the girl as she wated. She looked at her through a madam's eye, her profession kicking in. She noted how truly pretty this girl was and how curvy and taut her body was. She would fetch a pretty penny back home. Especially since she was so completely and utterly foreign and innocent.
"So where are you from?" she asked off handly.

"Mmmhmm, yeah," Maryke said her eyes showing that she was only vaguely interested in what Taluthe was saying. It's not that she didn't care it was that, well okay she didn't. At least not in the wanting to be wrapped up on this conversation sense. It was more then she was intruiged. Maryke had built up a wealth out of lust and greed and because of those sins and wanton tasks little held her interest or shocked her anymore. But Taluthe was different. She was not yet discovered, hell the kid didn't even know where she was. It was like watching a movie for the very first time. All the excitement and anticipation that came with it.

She looked down, then up again, cocking her head to one side. The light caught in her eyes, illuminating them in stark contrast with her tanned features. It was much like the shock between the dyed tips of her hair with the roots, the bright blue skirt against her tan skin, and the pink pigmented triangles under her left eye. Everything about her was a conceipt; one lie made to cover the other and never work together in total harmony. And yet, to spite all this contrast, she seemed a completely harmonious being. And yes, she was easy on the eyes with her gentle curves and taut muscles. Everything about her was in correct and attractive proportion as if God himself had made her to be beautiful. And, of course, a seductress... but she didn't tell Maryke yet. There was something about this older girl that seemed to... click? Some unnamed flutter in her chest that was yet to be discovered or developed, she figured.

As soon as the boy came back Maryke quickly grabbed her newest drink and began gulping it down, eager for the liquor to qwell her nerves. Once she finished she smacked her lips together at the pleasant citriousy taste and let her eyes tick back towards Taluthe.
"Let's say we get this show on the road huh," she said, giving away one of her Colgate smiles. Her 'all business smle' she deemed it. "How does my place sound?"

Talu wrinkled her nose as she watched her down the second drink. She'd had only a few sips of hers, but already she was feeling strange. Sick, almost. She'd never been exposed to this sort of drink, and it was getting to her. That, and she hadn't eaten since she left her island which was a couple days ago. Oops. Of course, she didn't know any better. She giggled, her face rouging slightly. "Your language is so unique." She quipped in amusement. Then she glanced back toward her boat. "May I retrieve my things?" She asked, a slight frown once again gracing her features as it often did when she was worried.

Her language was unique? What did that mean strange and wierd or something? Maryke wondered if she should take that one as an insult but decided to leave her defenses where they lie. She was sure her language probably did sound different to the girl. She'd obviously didnt know a lick of English and Maryke was cool with that. At the second question the madam frowned in confusion and then she let her eyes tick back towards the shore.
was this girl for real? She came here in a goddamn boat?! How the hell did she even manage that one. She wondered if this was all apart of some kind of game, but Markye cleared her head from that thought as well. Who was foolish enough to play around with her? "Yeah sure, go 'head," she said nodding, "I'll come with.." With that she stood up, fishing in her purse and throwing a few bills down for the tab. "Come on."

"D'acc" she muttered, her form of okay. She didn't really know how to translate it, and thus it slipped out. She then stood from the chair, saying goodbye to her strange mango drink and turning towards the beach. A silent appreciation graced her features as she stepped from the terrace to the sand, as if she'd stepped into her native element. A light breeze tossed her hair about, and she simply chuckled to herself at the wind's games. It was here, more than anywhere else, that she seemed truly comfortable. She looked over to Maryke off and on, little more than subtle glances of bluegreen eyes beneath naturally thick, long lashes. Make up was one thing she'd never need. Each footfall in the sand was like a small breath of relief for her as she approached the water.
Even though water terrified her, she seemed quite comfortable at the water's edge, where her small boat and bag of belongings lay side by side. She walked past them, however, and stepped onto the wet sand only a few yards away, letting the cool waters lap at her feet and looking out onto the ocean. The first step of her journey had finally been made, and she sighed softly as she gazed outward. Home was far, far away...
And yet home was right here.

"Almost done yet?" Maryke asked impatiently as she tapped her heel against the sand impatiently. The overhead sun beating down on her was starting to take a toll on the madam and the dressing choices she had made didn't do much to help either. Why didn't she wear lighter and looser clothing. She could have least put on shorts and a tee for god's sake. She wiped a hand across her sweaty brow and continued to watch Taluthe.

Talu startled at the sudden voice, and it seemed as if she was particularly on edge, seeing as she nearly jumped. She turned to face Maryke almost as if she'd never seen her before, then wordlessly picked up her bag and looked to her for a direction. Maybe she just... didn't appreciate the beach in the setting sun like Talu did.

"Ready now?" Maryke asked, forcing a smile towards the other girl. But the smile was just for show, there was nothing real about it. She waved a stand of brown hair out of her eyes and then nodded her head off in the distance, "My driver should be there already...I can call him to pick us up if you don't feel like walking."

Something suddenly happened then. Something within Maryke broke as she looked upon the girl's hurt and uncaring face. Like, if Taluthe suddenly didn't want to come then Maryke would be...she shook her head. What the hell was wrong with her? She didn't know what this new feeling was that was washing over her, but she wasn't exactly sure she liked it very much.
"Yeah, walking's good for you," Maryke said instantly blushing once she had uttered the words. OF COURSE Talu knew walking was good for her, just look at that body. She probably excerised her cute a** off in whereever island she had come from.
