Persephone had the strangest feeling when Adi said the word secret. She knew it was part of the joke, but it tickled something in her brain. She mentally yelled while she outwardly took a breath. Were all relationships like this? So much rumbling in her stomach and tightness in her chest. It should have felt bad, and yet it didn’t really. It just felt like…a lot. Hormones were a heck of a thing.
When Adi complimented her dress and, well, herself as a whole, she blushed. “I am very pretty, aren’t I?” she said, then immediately blushed again. Had she really just said? Oh boy. “And very humble too, clearly,” she added, hoping it’d all come off okay. She couldn’t understand how a person could make her feel so comfortable and so nervous all at the same time.
The two stepped onto the dance floor hand in hand, and she absolutely was smiling. Her skin felt electric as he put his hand on her hip. She moved her free hand to his shoulder and let him intertwin their fingers. “Don’t worry,” she said, letting her hand run down his arm for just a moment before placing it back on his shoulder, “I’m here to catch you,” she said with a coy smile.

xxxxx✑ Wʜᴀᴛ's Iɴsɪᴅᴇ Mʏ Hᴇᴀᴅ? Oh my gosh, everything is so pretty! Walking into the school proper, Temperance went wide eyed at the marvel of the school, big caramel eyes taking in the entrance. She was amazed at how big the entryway was, and how impressive the statues were that lined the entrance. Her eyes were drawn over to Archie when he talked about this being her first time walking in and how he ought to be giving her the speech that the Deputy gave. She listened to him, then giggled, a blush coloring her cheeks. She absolutely loved Archie's quirky sense of humor. Archie then led her through the entryway to the Grand Staircase, then into the Great Hall proper. Her eyes went wide again and she drank in the sight of the Great Hall, of course decorated for the Flower Dance. But still, she got to see the ceiling of the Great Hall, which currently was displaying the night sky outside. The room was so large and spacious and she imagined that even with the tables filling the room, it still seemed imposingly large. Her attention was drawn back to Archie when he said that he was glad she could be here, then used her full name. A big blush colored her cheeks. "I'm really glad that I'm here with you, Archie," she responded softly as well, matching his tone. Then she leaned in and placed a soft kiss on his lips, her brown eyes twinkling in the light.

xxxxx☼ Wʜᴀᴛ's Iɴsɪᴅᴇ Mʏ Hᴇᴀᴅ? I want to make this special for her. Kavi hadn't known that he needed to ask his girlfriend if she wanted to go to the dance with him; he'd just assumed that they would be going together. So when Tambry had asked him to be her partner for the dance, he had initially been confused, but of course, he agreed. Once he knew what color she was going to wear, he worked to tailor match his suit to her outfit. Vikram had teased him about getting a pink suit, but he thought it matched Tamber's dress nicely. Besides, he was more than confident in wearing pink, especially since he was matching his girlfriend. As the day of the dance approached, Kavi refreshed himself on his dance moves, so that way he could treat Tambry to a nice dance. He knew that she'd definitely want to dance and he was pretty sure she already knew that he knew how to dance as well. He got himself ready for the dance, then headed to the place that they'd picked for their meeting. He was a little early, but that didn't bother him. Baba always said it was better to be early and wait, then to be late and make your lady wait. As she started to come down the stairs, Kavi turned to look up at her. A wide smile crossed his face. "Oh, wow Tambers. You look... well, gorgeous. Stunning," he said, then smile still clinging to his lips.
