The ref's count was broken as Lykos briefly reentered the ring, only to roll back out to continue the punishment, this time by the overhead throw that sent the big German crashing down with a splat that made those at ringside cringe.
The referee began to admonish the champion, asking him to return to the ring while Reich was left cursing holding his back in agony.

Lykos is doing what he's doing on purpose. He's taken the brunt of the punishment so far, so giving it back should remind the challenger of exactly how the Dark Wolf managed to get his title. But since he'd like to win this in the ring, when he goes to pull Reich up, it's to roll him back into the ring again

Reich found himself picked up again, only this time it was to be thrown back into the ring. He gingerly rolled on the mat as his neck and back were absolutely screaming in pain.
He had known going in that he was in for a fight, he had expected it, yet it hadn't all gone exactly to plan. He looked to crawl to the corner to give himself more breathing room.

sliding back into the ring, Lykos follows after Reich as he crawls to the corner. Once he's there, Lykos would attempt to simply choke him with his boot against the turnbuckle

He had managed to get to the corner, yet he didn't realize that his enemy was right behind him. No sooner had he made it to the corner, then he felt the oxygen been squeezed out by Lyko's boot on his throat.
The referee stepped in and began the count to get Lykos to break.

Lykos breaks at the ref's four count, avoiding a disqualification. Sometimes a champ just has to stretch the rules a bit. Still, Lykos reaches down to pull Reich up to stand against the turnbuckle, aiming to clock him with another stiff right to the jaw

Reich coughed as he was finally able to breath again and he set himself as Lykos drew him up in the corner. The right hand made his head snap back.
He spat out blood from his now split lip and he gave the champion a defiant finger gesture which caused a ripple of noise from the crowd.
"Guess that's Reich's way of saying he still think he's number one, eh JR?"
"Well you can't say Reich isn't opinionated. We apologize for that folks."

Lykos smirks at the gesture. Clearly the challenger was feeling the affects of the last few minutes. So the champion looks to clock him in the ribs with a left body blow

The body blows rocked him and made him jump involuntarily from the impact, but the challenger was more than willing to reciprocate by looking to deliver a nasty left cross to the champion's smug face.

this time, Lykos is ready, as it appears Reich is left handed. He ducks the left and attempts to catch the arm, aiming to return the earlier favor of a judo throw to toss him out of the corner

Sensing that he was in trouble, the crafty german would look to lower his sense of gravity to prevent himself from being thrown and at the same time he would look to deliver an elbow with his free arm to try and get himself loose.

Lykos somehow isn't able to throw the german like the german had managed to do to him earlier. an elbow forces him to release the challenger and he steps back towards the center of the ring

As soon as he felt himself released, he looked to lover his shoulder and explode out of the corner with a massive spear. He felt he needed one big move to help quicken the pace and if he could get the advantage, he could turn things in his favor.

Lykos had freed the german and given some space, seemingly for the challenger to come right back at him. Unfortunately for him, Lykos isn't exactly dazed and surges forward to meet him with the running knee lift he calls the Wolf Fang

Just when he thought he had an open shot, the window slammed shut as the knee lift caught him flush in the face causing him to crash heavily to the mat, his eyes glazed over.
"Bah Gawd what a shot Reich just took. He could be out cold!"
"Could be? He's definitely out. He wasn't expecting that and he took it flush. Lykos has this in the bag. Reich had a good effort, but it's over."
