The elbows landed hard on his head causing him to stumble and allowing drakos speed and agility to win out. Before he could stop it he felt his opponent execute a sunset flip.
Off balance Mason stumbled losing his balance but not falling. Steadying himself on his feet he looked down to see drako. He grits his teeth before reaching down with both hands and hoisting him back to his feet. Holding onto drako with both hands still Mason threw a quick headbutt to keep him stunned before attempting to deliver a nasty double handed spine buster!

counters keep on going, with Drako unable to bring Mason down at this point. Hoisted up, a headbutt disorients him enough to be planted yet again courtesy of a spinebuster

Drako rolls his shoulder off the canvas before the three count. He's winded, but it'll take far more than that to keep him down

He jolted up from the kick out disappointed but not surprised he had his hope but drako was not one to go quietly into that goodnight. He sighed shooting daggers at the ref before before grabbing Drakos right leg trying to deliver a few stiff kick to the back of his leg!

Drako isn't quite out of it, so when Mason goes for his leg, Drako pulls his legs in and kicks out, attempting to kick Mason off of him

Drakos foot came flying towards his chest as he tried to kick him away. Catching his foot he pressed towards drako trying fight off the kick

Drako is starting to get irritated. Time for Mason to learn the hard way how Drako was champion longer than anyone, as he sits up and reaches for Mason's arm, now attempting to pull him down into a triangle choke. if he won't get off the Soaring Dragon, Drako will choke him out instead

Drakos hand locked hard on the riders arm as he fought against his boot. All too late he realized what was happening as he felt himself slip into his opponents grasp locking in a wicked triangle choke!
Mason felt the incredible pain flow through his body pain like fire through his veins. He pressed against the onslaught trying to get away from his opponents grasp. He feels the life draining from him as he's wrenches. His muscle memory kicks in as he quickly muscles his opponent forward rolling him on his shoulders for a pin attempt. The soaring dragon will either let go or he will lose its all the same to the rider.

Drako is used to the counter to his favorite hold. Time for the rookie to learn another lesson here. As Mason attempts to press his shoulders to the mat, Drako attempts to turn to the side and press Mason towards his side in the hold, intent to force his younger opponent to either work harder to escape, pass out, or tap

Mason presses harder but instead of keeping drako pinned he would instead muscle himself up to one knee before using all of his strength to try and lift him up for a powerbomb to the mat below.

unfortunately, Drako has little way around avoid yet another counter, and is lifted and dropped with a powerbomb this time, forcing him to release his triangle choke

Mason rolls out of the ring hitting with a thud as sought to buy himself a small window of recovery. Breathing heavy as he crawled towards the steel steps.

having been the one getting slammed to the canvas repeatedly, Drako merely lies flat in the middle of the ring, taking the time recover while he can

Mason gets to a knee using the steps to get up right. Holding his head as he begins walking back up the stairs eyes glued to the ring leery of his opponents agilty
