Flight, fight, fawn, or freeze. We rarely choose our reactions, they just happen. Were you surprised to know your response was to run, or had something like this happened before? Faster and faster you run, fear fueling your body and mind. You just have to get away! Everything will be fine if you can just get away!

Of course, some prey are just more fun to catch when they run. The chase is on. You can feel them at your heels, only a breath or two behind. You keep running, not realizing that they are herding you until you find yourself at the top of a cliff. Do you pick the maw or the fall?

The small bathroom you've chosen to hide in cold and quiet, the only sounds echoing off the ceramic tiles are the sounds of your breath and the dripping of the leaking faucet. Drip, drip, dripping. You try to slow your breathing, stay calm and quiet so nothing hears you. Drip. Time passes, is it seconds, minutes, hours? Drip. Are you safe? Drip. Is your hiding space good enough? Drip. Drip. Drip-

And suddenly, the sound it gone. As irritating as it was, it's worse now without it. You don't worry about it for to long however, as you feel sharp slender fingers wrap around your neck...

Fixing the exit doesn't come easy, especially when other people are clamoring around whimpering and begging. You focus on your task, the better to rescue everyone. In fact, you're so focused on fixing the exit you don't notice when the sounds around you stop. Suddenly, a rough hand pulls you away. You spin around, flailing and trying to attack, but the enemy doesn't seem to care. The last thing you remember are hands closed around your throat as it all goes black.

A group of you are huddling together in the bushes, trying to keep quiet and looking in almost every direction. Unfortunately the one direction none of you were looking was right behind you, which you realize when you hear heavy breathing that wasn't coming from your group. Looks like a group isn't the safest place to be as you all run, flee and scatter in different directions, the breathing doesn't seem to get any further away as you run...

As you crouch behind a wall to watch what happens, your skin begins to crawl like something is watching you back. Quickly you turn and you're face to face with something sinister, panicking you grab a loose brick from the wall and swing it..

The entity grunts as it raises an arm to deflect your weak, frightened swing, bringing it's own down, machete in hand and everything fades to black.....
