Rhidian 7

"I think we can make it work. I know it's not a guarantee, but I'd like to try." Even if it didn't work out for some time or if it never really did Rhidian wanted to give it a shot. As nice as it would be to have a Sitara she was also mainly interested in keeping a little piece of Jauhar with them in Zena. She didn't expect to like the area as much as she was, but honestly, she was happy they'd come.

As they neared their hut she turned back to smile at Rhiannon. Her sister wasn't always the most vocal, but when she did it was always the right thing. If Rhiannon was in charge of the garden then whatever they grew would flourish, that much she knew without fail. "La oss skynde oss da."

Yngvara 7

The urge to roll her eyes was strong. Every time she tried to bring some realism into the conversation Ziya would find a way to circumvent her. It was sweet to give into them like that, but greenhouses were hard to maintain, especially if they wanted this kind of environment in Zena. And it wasn't as if the twins were experienced...Or maybe she was just being too pessimistic about it? She knew they wouldn't intentionally kill the poor things, but she also didn't want to be the one to console them when they found a handful of frozen Sitara.

Reaching for the door to their hut, Yngvara walked through and held it long enough so the girls could follow. She'd have to leave most of her weaponry behind, but a few well placed daggers wouldn't be a bad idea. And maybe she should pull her hair up? Just to keep the thicker strands off the back of her neck. Or...."Rhiannon? Do you think you could braid my hair like Silfi usually wears hers?"

Zyphire 7

"Alright, the girls will probably maim us if we don't hurry." Zyphire commented towards Ziya, the Shifter having opened their room once he saw the girls disappear into their own. Tossing a bag of supplies onto the bed, Zyphire looked around the room. It would be cozy enough for their stay with a washbasin in the corner and two large beds with netting tied over them to protect against any insects that might wander inside during the warmer nights. "I'll take this one." He told his son, plopping down so that he could remove his traveling boots in favor of lighter sandals. "You'll want lighter clothing for this, walking through those markets will make you sweat quicker than anything if you aren't prepared for the heat." He advised, taking the time to swap out for more local attire that would make him blend in easier than wearing his travel leathers from Zena.

"There's some for you as well. Here." Zyphire tossed a bundle onto the other bed with a small smile. "Might as well dress the part, right?" He paused after a moment and then added. "As for that greenhouse? I can help you look into ideas. I've seen a few in my travels, so it might be possible if you truly are up to the challenge. I just don't want the girls to be disappointed if it doesn't work out..." Perhaps he was a bit too soft at heart, but he truly did want his family to be happy and seeing that smile when the girls encountered the sitara made him thoughtful. Maybe they could try to find a way to bring a piece of Jahaur into their lives, something more permanent than a wandering vacation once every few years.

Ziya 7

"See? It's all coming together." Ziya reassured the twins before looking towards Yngvara. "Det blir bra." Even if she was keeping quiet, the hybrid recognized his sister's slight expression exchanges and couldn't help reassuring her as well. It didn't hurt to be a bit optimistic, at least in his opinion. And the fact that Rhiannon had even spoken up? Well, he really wanted to try then. Ziya waved towards the girls before tossing his own belongings on the bed opposite to his father.

"You came prepared." He commented with a grin before following his father's lead and changing his own attire. "Well, it wouldn't hurt to look into the idea at least. I'll see what we can figure out, far. For now though let's just go enjoy that curry and the festivities for tonight. I want to see how much crazier the Shifters get during their ceremonies, it should be interesting~" Ziya chuckled, the hybrid eager to stretch his legs and explore this world that his paternal ancestors had once thrived in. They knew so much about Zena and the Ild'vann, but there was so much that they didn't know about Jahaur and the culture here. It would be nice to finally learn some more, and in person not through books for once.

Rhiannon 7

"Mmm." Rhiannon smiled and nodded at her twin reassuringly. She was willing to try as long as the others wanted to try. Already her mind was spinning stories about the building that they could create and the various plants and creatures running around inside. A small spot of warmth in Zena where they could soak in the heat despite the cold of the north. It sounded lovely, in all honesty.

Dropping her bags inside of the hut, Rhiannon took in all of the furniture and looked at the beds. Everything looked so much lighter in here, there were silks instead of furs and open windows instead of stone walls and fireplaces. It definitely would be an adjustment from their home up north, that was for certain. Though it was looking like a fun experience so far, Rhiannon was curious about everything they could learn over the next week. There was so much about their ancestors that she didn't even think about before, the girl nearly forgetting they had split heritages thanks to their father's blood. She was so caught up in her thoughts that she nearly missed Yngvara's question before it registered. "Klart jeg skal." She smiled towards her oldest sister, grabbing a comb and some metal clasps so that she could work on her hair. If they were going to enjoy the festivities then they should look as lovely as possible. The very thought kept a smile on her face while she hummed softly and worked on the twisted braids that so many of the Ild'vann wore. Just because they were visiting in Jahaur didn't mean that they would leave back that part of their heritage, after all.
