 She looked at the small bag, her heart beat faster, but it felt good. She opened the bag and she pulled out a beautiful blue crystal star earring. "Oh, oh , I love it!, and i know right where to put it!" She took out a stud in her ear and put the earring into it. It dangled, she shook her head and laughed. "This is the best gift i have ever gotten! Thank you so much!" She leaned over and kissed his forehead.

He smiled, she was so adorable, and now he had to read her a romance novel, this was going to be so different. he rustled her hair. "Okay lets get home, its almost lunch time, i was thinking, we could put two peppers on a stick and cook them with our steak, oh wait!! I forgot to get the steak!" He sighed. One more stop then we are on our way home. They went to the butchers, he picked out two beautiful steaks. then they were off to home.

She smiled at him when they were flying home. after lunch, she was going to beg him to start the novel, she wanted to learn what romance was. She wondered what these bred bell peppers tasted like, probably good, she felt so happy, she loved her new earring, why was he so nice to her? oh duh, they were best friends, she guessed thats what best friends do. after awhile of flying the reached home, they both landed softly. her tummy growled. ugh i hope he didnt hear that!

"I guess you are hungry like me." he laughed. "I will spice the fish up, also prepare the peppers." He went in the den, worked his magic and came out with the fish and peppers. He hoped she didnt mind a little spicy, he wanted to see her reaction to the hint of spiciness. he then added some yummy herbs mixed with oil onto the peppers, then put the two fish onto sticks, then did the same with the gutted out peppers onto some more sticks. then walked towards the fire after getting out of the den.

The fire was still going, but it needed some more wood. she dragged over a chunk of wood and carefully placed the log into the fire, she knew how to place wood in a fire, she had to do that quite often where she used to live. she watched the flames lick at the fresh wood. she heard him coming towards her, she looked at him with a big smile. "after breakfast, can we please start the book? im so excited that i want to hear about romance, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease."

"errrrr, ugh, okay." he placed the two fish and two peppers next to the fire. "that will be interesting, you are lucky im a pushover." he laughed. well at least he will learn about romance and hopefully love. he wondered what life would be like to be in love. just then a picture of pixi popped into his head. he shook his head, why would that happen? maybe he was being too quiet and thought she might feel the need to talk. thats gotta be it. he looked over at her and seen she had made a ball out of snow with her paws. what is she up to? he trhought, he then seen her rolling it around on the ground, it was getting bigger and bigger, she pushed it until she could no longer push it. it was the same size as her! "What are you doing?" this was interesting.

"its called a snow man, where i used to live, the kits would make these for fun. i finally have a chance to try it out." she made a new ball and rolled it around all over until it was back with the bigger ball. she tried hard to lift it onto the other ball. She was struggling, she kept trying, she seen them be made all the time, but theirs were much smaller. "Could you give me a paw" She asked him sweetly, looking a little frustrated.

"Sure!" He walked over to the two snow balls. "What are you trying to do?" he wondered. "Oh wait, I see, you are trying to put this ball on that ball. okay, lets get this ball up there!" he lifted it up, barely able to, but he did it. "So this is a snow man?" he looked at the snow man and wasnt impressed, just two bakks, well at least she had fun making it. he sat down and relaxed, his back was a little sore.

"no not yet." She made another ball and only rolled it around until it was the sizr of a melon, she then lifted it and placed it on the second ball of snow. "There, now its a snowman" She smiled and laughed at her work. she was proud of it. she looked at him and he looked unimpressed, almost like he thought it was dumb to do. she was gonna get him for insulting her snow man. she made a big ball of snow, snuck up behind him, then smushed in into his face. and laughed. "Thats what you get for insulting my first snowman! She giggled and ran away.

"Oh, you are in trouble!" He laughed and started to chase her, she and him were in the middle of the meadow, he pounced and tackled her gently. your in for it now! he turned her to be facing her, he was sitting on her gut, and started smushing snow in her face. this was fun.

She somehow got up then jumped on him and they rolled around and around, tickling eachother, and throwing snow at each other, they started rolling again, this time they stopped huffing and puffing, but their faces were so close, close enough to see deep into each others eyes and noses almost touching. she squirmed out of the way, the butter flies were back and her heart was thudding. her face was red, thank the Gods for fur.

he was still huffing and puffing, his face was just as red. what is this feeling, why did he keep blushing everytime she got close to her. why did he feel like he had to always be there for her and protect her. why was he laughing out loud and scratching his head. was he embarrassed, or was it something else? he was going to ask his mom about all this. he needed to know what it all meant. what he could do to stop it. but he had to admit it, it felt good. He sniffed the air, he was 30 feet away, but he could tell the food was ready. "Hey trouble, its lunchtime."

she stopped sticking her head in the snow to try to cool off, she felt she was burning up. she heard him say it was dinner and she ran to the pit where swift was, she took a fish from the fire and a pepper. she was curious about this bell pepper. she took a bite and chewed. "Oh so tasty!" She ate everything that he made her. she liked this lil spicy fish. they finished up, she wasnt sitting next to swift, but she wanted to. "Oh now you can read the book with me." She said excitedly. "Lets go, We can read it on the bed, so we are comfy."

"Okay, lets go." He led her into the den, he layed on his side, using the pillows for his head. he didn't know what just happened, she seemed scared of him. but so did he, why were they scared of each other? Is it fear? Sure seems that way, but if she was scared of him, why use the bed to read? But really, where else would they read? he sighed, he didnt understand what was going on. He turned the book to the first page. "Hurry up, I'm going to get started."

"I'm coming, please wait for me." She entered then climbed onto the bed, he was using all the pillows. "Do you mind if I lay on you as in my head on your stomach, so i dont have to take a pillow away from you?" She felt he was scared of her, but she really wanted to lay her head on something, would he say no? what else could she do, plus it would feel nice to relax on him , it always felt warm and relaxed her when she leaned on him. she hoped he would say yes.
