He was just starting to nod his head in agreement with his sister about Pie when his mother started to tickle him. Vaehaerys laughed and squirmed unable to make a coherent word. When she finally relented and gave him a kiss to the forehead he took a deep breath and fell forward onto her like he was exhausted. Then he was instructed to go help his sister so he nodded his head. "Alright."
He didn't really protest to what his mother had in mind for dinner since it was food and whatever his parents made was always good. He had yet to find something he wouldn't eat.
Rather than going back over to where his sister and father was he took off toward the water again. He'd heard his sister mumble - despite being tickle attacked - and had figured if he helped to get more then she could have earrings as well.

Lynx 8 He chuckled at Zybi. "You know we can always get more, yes?" And he didn't mention that he and her uncle Iexa had gone pearl hunting a lot when they were little so they likely still had a box in their old room at his mother's house. He could always just bring that out and let her sort through those. When Teiluj started to tickle their son he grinned. He leaned over to Zybilna and whispered to her. "We'll make sure to get plenty for your brother's hair." Since that was what she wanted to do with them. He turned his attention to Teiluj and smiled when she mentioned what she planned to make for dinner. "That sounds nice." Of course it was then that their son took off toward the water again. He watched with a raised brow. "Apparently he wasn't done swimming."

"I know." The youngling huffed. Smiling at the whispering from her father. Nodding gleefully that he was willing to go along with her idea of putting the pearls in her brothers hair. Like beads in her mamma's.
Her interest was peaked when she saw her brother take off towards the water again. "Hey! wait for me! I want to join." Shouting out after him, the young hybrid took off after her twin. Running to meet him at the waters edge. Lightly tackling him just enough to surprise him upon her approach.
Hugging him tightly for a brief second she nuzzled into his shoulder. Then it was off to the water! Ignoring any protests that may be coming from her parents, Zybilna headed in with a deep eagerness. She loved the water. Loved being a part of it. Shouting out to her brother she pointed to a clear part in the seabed. "Look there!"

Teiluj watched her son take off towards the water. "Well that I suppose is one way of helping his sister with shells and pearls." Chuckling a little towards her children playfulness. Teiluj rose to her feet, slowly brushing the sand off her body. Working her way down towards her ankles. The monk then set about busying herself with gathering up all their belongings to place in a bag she had packed everything into to bring here.
Then it was a matter of the shells. She didn't want to add them into the mix of their belongings. Not with the smell that they would contain as they traveled home. She didn't want that mess, settling into their stuff. It was hard to get out that smell out after all.
Pausing to contemplate how to go about packing the shells home. Teiluj mused. unable to come up with any solutions. The children were likely out looking for more shells. Which meant cleaning these up on the beach would be out of the question. They would have to take them home just as they were.
"No I suppose not. No matter, wearing them out this way just means that they will sleep VERY well tonight." Teiluj responded to lynx. Though she never did make eye contact while she busied herself with gathering up the objects her children had fished out of the water.

He was making splashes in the shallow bit, letting the waves crash against his ankles, when his sister jumped on him. He let out a startled yelp but then laughed as he struggled to gain his footing and keep them both from going down. As she snuggled he shook his head. “Silly Zybi.” When she let go and headed in he followed, water flying up behind him.
The area to which she pointed gained his attention before he nodded his head and started to go under so that he might explore it a bit closer. He ignored any words from his parents as he was otherwise preoccupied and one track minded. If he wasn’t mistaken he was fairly sure he saw a few more shells to grab.

Lynx 9 And there went his daughter. He laughed and looked over at Teiluj as she got up and brushed herself down. He stayed as he was and simply watched her pack things up before he turned his attention back out to the water to see where the children were. “I suppose they will sleep..” The man peeked over at his mate and smirked. “Just means we have time together.” He enjoyed the time he spent with her. Each day he noticed that she came more and more out of her shy shell. “Perhaps we can work on giving them siblings to get into trouble with while they sleep very well.” His voice had gotten softer, quieter. Then he got to his feet as well. He haphazardly brushed the sand off himself then looked at the shells by him. How to get those home? Lynx looked around for a moment before he saw a tree with large leaves. Perfect. He could pluck a few of those off and used them to wrap the shells in for the trip home.

Diving through the water, the young girl soon spotted an iridescent looking shell. It wasn't an off white like most of the others she had found so far, and it's shape was different too. Eager to get a closer look the youngling swam out towards the shell, gripping it with her hands. It didn't want to move from the ocean floor so easily.
Curious, Zybilna had to return to the surface for air before she could make another attempt. Diving back down she waved to grab her brothers attention, pointing to the strange shell on the floor. It was likely she would have to dig it out before she could retrieve the unique specimen.

Pausing as she moved to pick up one of the blankets to shake the sand out. Teiluj's green eyes glanced towards Lynx. Opening her mouth and closing it as she struggled to find something to say. A rising blush on her cheeks as she contemplated just what it was he had be referring too.
Lifting the blanket up, she deftly shook the object out. Doing her best to remove the sand from within. "I thought you wanted to wait a bit more?" Teiluj finally responded teasingly. "I'm up for the challenge of keeping these children in line. We have the beasts to help nanny them as well." Teiluj motioned with her head towards Tao, as if using the Radaku as an example of her reference.
"Get ready to leave!" Teiluj shouted out towards her children. Knowing full well she was going to have to attempt to convince Lynx to fetch them in the end.
"I'm all for some alone time together." Teiluj whispered. It was hard for her to get that time alone with Lynx now. With family always around and kids to look after. Folding the blanket up, Teiluj watched her Mate look off towards something else. Giving a shrug she finished with the last of the packing.
"Twins!" She shouted out. "Lets go."

He'd managed to get two more shells by the time his sister had caught sight of a different shell. When he noticed her waving at him he had to go up for air. At the surface he took a breath and heard his mom call for them. His head turned to look at her but his sister had wanted him first so she would need to wait. Vaehaerys lifted his hand with one finger in the air to show they would be a minute.
Going back under he swam down to meet his sister. Only then did he see the shell that had her so intrigued. He looked back at her and gave a nod of his head. He was willing to help her get that one.

Lynx 10 He chuckled at her and turned to look back as she called for the kids to come in. "I did want to wait.. but if it happens it happens." He moved over to wrap his arms around his mate, giving her a hug before kissing her cheek. "And if you think you can handle the chaos then I'm all for it." His attention turned to the water as he hadn't heard the kids coming in yet. He saw their son going back under and he hoped it was to get his sister. Looking back at Teiluj he smiled. "I'm going to grab a few leaves off the tree to wrap the shells up in so we can take them home." Another kiss was given, a small peck to show affection.

Her small hands scooped and shoved at the sand around the larger shell trapped in the sand. It was prettier than the rest of the shells she had seen out here and she wanted that one! Pulling and tugging at the shell, Zybilna was unimpressed when it still refused to give way. Feeling the burn in her lungs, she maneuvered her body, using as much force in her legs to kick off the seabed towards the surface.
Breaking through the surface of the water. Zybilna took a huge breath of air, waiting for her heart and breath to steady before making a dive back under. She was deliberately ignoring her mothers calls to come back to the shore. She would have to wait this shell was her number one priority.

The hybrid monk savored every moment of affection she got from Lynx. Calming at his touch. "Well we've survived much more than this, I'm certain that together we could handle a couple more troublemakers." Nodding she watched her partner walk off to retrieve leaves. Reluctantly sighing as she watched him move. The way his muscles flexed and shifted under his skin, biting her lip she looked him up and down before turning her attention back out towards the water.
She caught sight of Zybilna deliberately disregarding her request to come back. Her cheeks puffed her hands pressed into the sides of her hips. "Twins if you don't hurry back, your father will have to come and get you!" It wasn't often that Teiluj would call out such tactics, normally she would go out and get them herself. However since the change that had occurred with one of her first visits to the ocean. Teiluj had been hesitant to approach the water herself. That and, she didn't know how to swim. Her lack of confidence in swimming left her on the shore. Too afraid of getting swept up in the tide.

Vae had done something similar. The shell not wanting to move caused him to dig more and more. While his sister went up he continued to try and get a bit more leverage on it. By the time she was diving back under he was on his way up, the burn in his lungs getting to be too much for him to ignore. As his head broke the surface he heard his mother’s words and had to shake his head to clear his eyes and ears of excess water. He blinked at her then glanced down at where his twin was. Since they were on a mission to get this one shell he took a breath and went back under to join Zybilna.
Getting back down to the shell he helped his sister to get more silt and mud away from the thing.

Lynx 11 He was chuckling as he walked. If Teiluj thought they could handle it then he was alright with it. Of course the twins didn’t bother him a bit. He had plenty of energy to keep up with them. He had just reached the tree and was about to grab for the leaves when he heard his mate call out to the children to threaten them with him. His head turned to look over his shoulder to watch as his son went back under. Clearly they were not worried about their mother’s words. He grabbed the leaves they would need to carry the shells back and headed toward Tei. “Somehow I don’t think they find that threat to be too scary.”

Tugging and pulling with all her might against the shell, there was a rush of relief when the large iridescent shell shifted in the sand. Bubbles escaping from beneath the larger object floating towards the surface. Zybilna ignored the bubbles, re-gripping the shell and giving one last heave. The sand released it's hold on the object much to the younglings glee. Giving a happy wiggle and beaming at her brother, Zybilna struggled to carry the object to the surface. Gasping in another breath of air as she broke through the water.
