All the oxygen in Trent's lungs would get forced out as the blunt strike would drop Trent to the padding on the floor. Leaving him scrambling around while waiting for his breath to return to him.

Rex smirked down at the breathless Trent, before reaching down and attempting to pull him back to his feet by his skull. If he got him up, he would attempt to lead him and roll him back into the ring.

Trent would release a cough as he got forced back to his feet by the brute. Slowly getting led back to the ring as he felt his lungs inflate with air once again. At least there was one good thing going on for Trent at the moment.

Rex would look to where his followers were again before turning and sliding into the ring himself so that he could continue his assault on his opponent and work toward his deserved victory.

Trent would have rolled to the center of the ring, getting to a kneel before Rex would get back in and back to his feet. His body was failing to react as he needed and the time frame had definitely ran out.

Rex eyed Trent on a knee and ran forward, attempting to deliver a big boot to Trent's skull.

Trent saw and heard Rex charging. Using his weight, Trent threw himself backwards into a roll, just to avoid the incoming move that had the chance to end this whole match.

Rex's boot found nothing but air but his momentum kept him moving forward a few steps. After he got himself to stop, he turn to face his opponent, his smirk growing a bit, amused by the fight still in his enemy.

Trent rolled within an arms distance of the ropes, narrowly avoiding certain tragedy. But Rex had already turned to face Trent again after missing his last attack. And he would be a lot more cautious and precise this time around.
So Trent, with what little time he had left, looked to grab the ropes and hoist himself up. All while maintaining eye contact with Rex.

Rex stalked toward Trent, serpent eyes studying his prey. As he got close, Rex would simply aim a meaty right fist at the side of Trent's skull.

Rex approached. He needed something, he saw the shoulder of the big man move back, winding a strike. Anticipating the blow, Trent looked to dodge the maneuver. Throwing himself down at the left leg of Rex for a chop block.

Rex found nothing but air once again and was quickly brought down to a knee as Trent attacked the back of his knee.

This is all that Trent could do. Play on the defensive. Even while Rex was at a knee, he was still as dangerous as a standing Rex. So, Trent had to keep the pressure while avoiding any strikes or grapples from his opponent.
So, Trent would get to his feet after hitting the chop block. Looking to aim a kick at the back of the downed Rex before backing up.

Rex arched his back in pain as the boot connected. He stood slowly, using the nearby ropes for assistance. He stretched his leg out a bit trying to ease away the pain without his family's help. once the pain throbbed less, he started to turn his attention back to his opponent.

Despite Rex getting up, he knew he was hurting. He just needed to land another big strike to that leg to make it cave. And maybe finally he could break through all that brawn.
Trent took to the ropes, as he readied to strike Rex once more.
