Salem could feel Cartwright stepping on his chest, but his nervous system was still fried from the stun gun, preventing Salem from controlling his muscles, let alone breathe properly! The referee hesitated a moment, looking as though he wanted to check on Salem's medical condition, but after Cartwright's prior threatening he thought better of potentially losing his job and dropped to count the pin, regardless of the circumstances!
