The aviary patch went well and in an hour he had a proper fix. What a satisfying day and coincidentally time for lunch. He peeked behind the aviary at the big and neatly stacked log pile. "Why is he being so helpful?" He asked after he had loved on Duster's ladies for a while, he never called him Carro unless there was a threat that needed to be taken care of on the ranch, he preferred to say Duster. It was apt.

Isaris chuckled as he looked up to the creature. "I told him I'd plant a new flower. Perhaps more than one since he's split a few for me." he pointed out as a few easily pulled apart pieces were broken down further for kindling. "So he wants to make sure we get new plants."

"Hmm, what plants were you thinking about? I have a catalogue." It was an uncommon fact that literally only Isaris knew that Vallen was in fact a closet gardener. And pretty decent at it after a few instructions. "I have some ideas to augment what we have. We could flip through it later?"

He loved that his younger mate was so enamoured with plants. It helped in hunts, in case one of the bugs got too close to that large trap plant which liked to eat them. He chuckled. "We certainly can." he reached out to cup his face. "We should go inside and clean up before lunch."

Vallen sighed in utter contentment, he could already feel the hot water washing the knots out of his back. "Let's go!" He pumped a fist in the air making sure not to accidentaly bonk his poor mate. Isaris put up with a lot to be with him but Vallen made sure his stoic mate was never...ever...bored. He smooched him and ran like the dickens for the house. Having not burnt as much energy with fixing than wood cutting. "Pile looks great!"

The elder laughed as he followed after Vallen. Humming as he walked. He glanced ot Carro as the bug flew into the aviary to check on the fix. He smiled then walked inside. Making sure to stoke the heater for the water. "Hey hey!!! Watch yourself." he knew how high to have the fire as he started to warm the flowing water up. They had a constant flow through the house from the nearby brooke. Isaris learned how to assist with water trenches with this trick.

He was feeling his oats, he span around and ran a hand over his perfect abs (there were a lot of exercises involved to carve them this way..and much poultry and spinach and a generally active life,) "Oh I have been, haven't you?" He posed dramatically then giggled and disapeared into the kitchen. Pans and pots rattled as he got to work at full speed. Careful to stay away from any glass. He wasn't..dumb..often.

Isaris laughed as he got the bath ready for them. "Did you want salts?" they helped with aches from hardword. "Or oils?" which admittily made him think of a few nights ago when Vallen really didn't let up on him. Really worked his muscles out that was for sure.

"Yes please, I would. The salts, the oil is..dangerous and I'm too hungry at the moment." Right yes bath first. Well the kitchen was prepped anyway. He trailed after his mate to the bathroom and the two huge claw foot tubs that were their mutual pride and joy. He dragged the plant catalogue with him. When the water was ready he sank in and let the salt work on his overly tight shoulders. "Ugh this feels so good." He flipped through the catalogue, "Look at this one!"

The older shifter looked over his mate's shoulder at the catalogue. "Oooooh that purple flower looks nice. We need big ones for the adults, small ones for the babies." he mused as he slipped into the waters next. Sighing as felt the aches. "Hey the oils are only dangerous when you want them to be. I recall being able to give you a massage a few weeks ago without you acting like it was the end of the world."

"Oil is always dangerous Isaris, my self control just melted when you flirted, it might take months to come back." He closed his eyes in pure bliss. "Aye purple flowers." He sank below the water to wet his head. He felt like growing his hair out one of these days. He was bored with the childish spikey shortness, he was more than a child now..he was a manchild. He bubbled under the water happily then came back up again. "There are a few smaller blue flowers that the littles might like."

He smiled as he watched Vallen. "I know a few tricks to grow your hair out..." he said quietly. Stroking the other's hair. "Ah, blue yes...bright vibrant colors help them." he switched back to the topic. "Oooh, what's this one...Pascallia?" it was a pastel purple flower.

He squinted at his mate, "How do you always know what I'm thinking about?" He looked back at the book. "Yes Pascallia, sometimes when the soil is acidic, the blooms fade to a soft pink, hence the name, or so it says here. OOH it shifts like we do..glad we don't turn pink though." He grinned. Flipping further he found one he really liked.

"Thuya...oh that's a pretty one." He leaned on the side of his tub as he looked at them. "What about that pearl looking bud?" he tapped where there was a series of small ground flowers. "Asycalla."

"Hmm, I like that very much too." He dog eared the corners of the ones they were interested in. "Oohhh, look here." He flipped the page and a large lily shaped blue flower stood out on branched trusses, "Lyco, large flowers, night blooming. Well that is perfect," he grinned. This one gets my vote, your turn!"
