Hanaeko shook her head. She supposed it was possible for people to be here to save them but she had honestly expected it to be her guards. "We're here against our will, of course we want out." She said perhaps a little too aggressively for someone needing to be rescued. Hana sighed. "We had been knocked out with something when we were brought down here. We don't actually know the way." Wouldn't it be convenient if they did know how to get out?

"Well, no one truly knows what anyone is into." Quipped Valek quietly to Xylia before raising his voice again, trying to ignore the more aggravated response he had gotten. Not everyone was always happy even when being rescued, that much he had learned over the years. "Just keep talking and we'll keep making our way down there. Descriptions are fine, but noise is best. Have a song you like? You can even sing to us." He yelled out with a smirk, mostly just to be amused by some singing even if it did bring more thugs around.

"Alright, who are you two anyhow? Are there...any of the guards with you?" She said a little nervously. Hana figured that they weren't since Marv would probably be storming down to collect her even not knowing exactly where she was. "I'm not quite sure why they took us. They didn't seem to take anything off of us, we weren't carrying money on us either so it's not like they wanted to rob us..." That was something that had been bothering her, she just couldn't figure out why them? Where they planning on ransoming her? That was really the only thing she could think of.

"Hah, fair enough." Valek nudged Xylia in the dark passageway. "I like that kid, he's honest." At least the kids were talkative, Valek could pinpoint their voices in the darkness despite the slight echo. Thankfully the passages were somewhat muffled, a courtesy of the layer of sand above them.

Eventually he did find the ramp and he gestured towards it. "Ladies first."

Once again, Hana sighed. "I thought as much. Any idea if they actually got a ransom note sent?" She thought she could hear some footsteps now. "I think I hear your footsteps." Hana added as she leaned against the bars to help her stand up. "Gav...come back here..." She said quietly. She wasn't sure if their rescuers would be able to hear it or not but she wanted to keep the kid as safe as she could. "Actually, how do we know you're not in league with the kidnappers and you're trying to get us to reveal who we are?" It was a possibility but she didn't think that was the case this time. Though, how the responded would tell her a lot about what kind of people they were.

"You know, for people being rescued you do really seem against us rescuing you. What if you're bait to get us in trouble instead? There's quite a few people that want our heads on a wall." Replied Valek with a grin, the hybrid appearing as he spotted the two in their cells. "Should we just leave them, Moon?" He questioned looking back towards Xylia. "Would be a shame if we got caught for this one." He gestured towards the girl who seemed very talkative, his gaze hesitating slightly as he studied her for a second. Ah, no wonder. He knew a lot of noble faces, their profiles studied for his work and this one was not one that was skipped over. But he didn't want to make any assumptions so he simply stayed quiet as he opened his bag to look for a lock picking tool. They had gotten the outer key, but it looked like these cells were a special sort. "Anyways, do you really want to give those thugs so much credit? It takes brain cells to want to try to manipulate captives like that." Valek shook his head, a small smirk on his lips. Though there had to be a ring leader, it was a shame that they wouldn't be capturing him today. Someone had to be there to recognize the nobles, maybe they did torture the family information from them?

Hanaeko rolled her eyes at the man's voice. "If you really want to blame me for trying to be safe then I don't really care what you think of me." Not that she cared anyone. As they got closer, the darkness made it hard to tell anything about the man, he just sort of blended into the darkness. But the lady that stepped up, she was very interesting looking. Hana caught both of their gazes roving over her face, it was unlikely that she would go without being recognized but one could hope. Once the woman explained what happened, Hana nodded. It made sense and fit with the story they had gotten already. "We'll cooperate to help get back to Sulburi. Once we're in the City limits we can go to the nearest guard station. Too bad we didn't go all the way to Jatine, we could've visited the vacation home, Gav." She thought Reina might have been there once before but she knew Gavril and his closest brother had never been. Maybe they would have to go sometime now.

"It's alright, not many people care about how I feel about them." Valek quipped back lightly, giving Xylia an amused look. He was just here to do his part and then would fade away into the shadows again, like usual. "Since we're pressed on time I won't ask you to say pretty please when I open these doors." He teased the lock opening as the pick clicked into place and Valek swung the first door open.

"You're right." He glanced at the boy, far more invested in the honest kid that seemed kind enough. "Bad guys are getting smarter. You should never go with a full escort that makes it so obvious that you have money. Better to sneak around in my opinion." Valek replied with a small smile. "Go more discreetly next time, I recommend less jewels and fancy clothing too."
