"Okay." Cyrus nodded before reaching for the kettle to borrow it. "They may be more defensive around the hive so I'll use some extra smoke." He did pause at the other question before slowly shaking his head. "Not within the rangers, but maybe that one farmer in Sauti. He had a lot of different things and sold honey, so it had to come from somewhere..." Maybe they could take a day trip after this to get more answers?
Cyrus waved the kettle slightly towards Sylas before going back through the middle of the bees again. Not many were left, just a few wobbling here and there but then when he was about to turn around and give up the teen saw something in the grass. "Oh?" Making certain to wave the kettle and smoke the area even more, Cyrus found the piece of hive that they were looking for. It did have a few bees clinging to it and he carefully held the piece up in a way so that the bees wouldn't drop off.
"Found it." He stated as he reappeared next to Sylas, holding the hive piece in one hand and the kettle in another. "Should just lay the hive in the box, right? Maybe that'll attract more too..." Didn't the bees have like a leader or something? Maybe that bee was in the hive which would explain why so many still clung to it.

"Yeah that's probably a good idea." Sylas continued scooping the bees into the box when his brother found the hive. "Awesome! Yeah I think that should help. All hives have queen bees right? So maybe the queen is in that piece of hive." Once it seemed like they had most of the bees in the box, Sylas stood up and stretched. "Yeah, if we could go visit that guy...maybe he'd have some useful tips? Or at least arrange for us to bring the bees to him." If they couldn't figure out how to keep the bees local that would be the next best thing right?

"Ah, that's what it is." Cyrus blinked thoughtfully as Sylas explained the situation with the queen bee. It would make sense then that the bees were attracted to this piece of hive because they recognized that their leader was inside. "Yeah." Cyrus nodded his agreement as he finished with a final bee and worked on closing the lid of the box. Though as he sealed the box he started to ponder things. "You know you had a knack for that Sylas. Maybe you could talk to the guy and get some hints. Wouldn't it be nice to have honey whenever we wanted?" He did enjoy his rolls with some honey drizzled on top and there was that fancy soap his mother sometimes brought back with her that had honey and roati milk mixed together with oats. Why couldn't they make use of the bees that they found if they could?

Sylas thought about his brother's statement for a few minutes as they tried to clean everything up and secure the bees. Cyrus had a point, he did feel a lot more confident while doing this than he had doing any other trades that he had tried so far. "You're not wrong. Honey is pretty versatile as well...there's lots of different things it could be made into. I'll have to think about that! But I suppose at the very least, we should travel to speak with the one guy that already has some honey making skills. Maybe he'll have advice for getting started!" The thought of it actually made him a little excited. He hadn't been scared of the bees really, and it would be a way he could provide for village and still stay close to home. Not that he could stay here but he loved his family. "Do you want to plan a trip with me? For now though, should we take the bees back towards the village or leave them here? I'm afraid whatever attacked their hive the first time might come back."

Cyrus smiled, happy to see his twin so excited about the idea. "Sure, we can make a trip out tomorrow or something. I'm sure mother will be fine with it." Their father was away on a trip at the moment anyways, so surely it would be fine especially since they had a purpose. Even if he had to take a ranger's escort to the edge of the forest it was fine as long as they got to the farmer and found out more.
"Maybe we could place them in that clearing behind our house. No one really goes there so the bees can be left alone in peace while we figure things out." Cyrus stretched and glanced over the clearing. It was definitely better than letting whatever was around strike at the bees again. "Think you can carry the box while I keep smoking it along the way? Don't want them to wake up and get irritated."

"We'll take the bees out to that clearing first then to get them settled. And I think I should be okay to carry this by myself especially if they continue to be this calm. We should probably get some stuff together tonight then if we want to try and leave in the morning. That way we have a full day to take care of what we need." Sylas was pretty proud of them for taking care of the problem all by themselves. They were getting older though, so that was going to be more and more expected of them. "I guess I'll have to do some extra jobs around the house to try and get some money together to buy things that I'll need if I actually do this beekeeping thing..." He said it fairly soft but still audible if Cyrus was listening.

"Okay, sounds like a plan." Cyrus nodded his agreement, a small smile of amusement crossing his lips as he prepared to carry the kettle along to keep smoking the bees so that Sylas wouldn't have to worry about getting stung. "If you're successful then think about all the money you can earn in return. I'm sure honey and products can be worthwhile, maybe I should give you some of my allowance to invest." He teased lightly, hoping to help his twin in whatever way he could. He had, after all, taken on a variety of tasks and errands over the last couple of years to save up some coin for whenever they visited Oba and Matori where he could purchase even more tomes and interesting things.

Sylas waved his hand at his brother he wouldn't need to try and give him any money, he would earn it fair and square. "It'll be okay. I'll figure it out eventually. It might take some time but I shouldn't be in too big of a hurry since bees will only make honey so fast." He smiled. The box was heavy but he would make it to their destination and then get ready for their trip tomorrow. "Cylas I really appreciate your help. I'm sorry I derailed your trip to get flowers!"

"Nah, nothing to apologize for." Replied Cyrus with a playful grin. "If anything I just get dibs on trying out the honey first." He would nudge his brother with the tease, but since they were both carrying slightly dangerous things he opted to behave as he continued along. "I can always get flowers on the way back from Sauti tomorrow. This is a lot more interesting."

"For sure. You know as my partner in crime you always get first dibs to the good stuff." He joked. He would have elbowed his brother if he didn't have an armful. "Okay well we'll get these guys to a safe location and then get ready to go in the morning! It should be an interesting trip if nothing else!" Sylas was excited for this new opportunity.
