Drako was aware of what happened. He'd check on Adrian later. Meanwhile, the challenger is coming at him and lands a clubbing shot across the back. The champ walks off afterwards, seemingly trying to keep the space between them.

"C'mon champ, why you running away? Had enough already?" He snarled at his retreating opponent. He kept up with his opponent and looked to send the champ off his feet with a forearm shot to the back of the head.

playing possum was a thing, and the champ was pretty good at it. He only needed the space for one reason, and that was to turn and attempt to catch Erynys walking in with a superkick

If he had been able to, he would have slapped himself for being so damn stupid. In any case, the champ's foot did it for him and sent him crashing to the floor.

The crowd boos as Drako once again pushes his hair back from his face as the crowd rains down the boos. The champion rolls into the ring to break the referee's ten count. He rolls back out and goes to pull the larger challenger up and attempt to roll him back into the ring

He felt himself being picked up and was rolled back into the ring. A hand went to his jaw as he flexed it and massaged it, trying to make sure he wouldn't be eating his food through a straw.

Drako steps up onto the apron, grabbing the top rope as he prepares to live up to his nickname. Hopping up to the top, he attempts to springboard in with a frog splash to the fallen challenger, then go for a pin

No sooner that he had semi gotten his wits about him than the air was driven out of him by the frog splash. He writhed on the matt, doubled over in pain. He was vaguely aware of the pin.

At the last possible moment, he barely popped the shoulder out to break up the pin attempt.

after the kickout, the champion ends up sitting on the mat next to the challenger. That had been a calculated risk, and at least it was effective, even if it didn't put an end to the challenger. No matter, the champ has more where that came from.
Drako gets to his feet again and looks to pull Erynys up with him.
"Come on rookie."
Once they're both up, Drako would look to clock him with a knife edged chop across the chest

He coughed as he tried to suck in as much air back into hos lungs as he could, all the while giving the champion a hate filled stare. He felt himself being pulled up and he winced as the knife hand chop made his eyes water and his muscles tighten.
He kept his eyes locked on the champion as he growled. "Nochmals!"*
*"Again!"

ask and you shall receive. Drako is used to fighting bigger men than he is, and particularly his older brothers, so he didn't expect one chop to affect this challenger the way it had others. That said, he swings again, aiming to put a bit more force behind this chop

The impact jarred a cry from his lips, but whether or was joy or pain, it wasn't entirely clear. His teeth flashed as his hands went to his chest and his eyes went wide. That one had some impact behind it. He drew one of this own hands back and looked to retaliate with an open hand chop of his own. "Again!!!"

"Damn it!"
the retaliatory chop connects with Drako's chest and he has to take a couple steps back. He is the smaller man here and the challenger is big and beefy. Still, he'd asked for it so once again the Soaring Dragon looks to add some more force behind another knife edged chop

He cackled as he felt the sting of Drako's retaliatory strike and he had to take a step back himself to compose himself. It had been too long since he has been in such a good fight. He took a step forward and this time looked to use both hands in a Grizzly Magnum sledge to the chest.

Drako's eyes widened just before the sledge knocks him clear off his feet, much to the delight of the fans
