Salem was so close to stomping Bison's face into the mat, but was startled to suddenly be thrown back up as he was going down, Bison's strength enough to toss Croft into the air and get caught with a powerslam! His spine slamming into the canvas, fans booed Bison once again, many on their feet as Salem's loyalists feared the worst, the big man went for a cover! "One!" the ref counted."Two!" the ref continued.
But as they were about to bring their hand down a third time, Salem threw his hip and shoulder into Bison and broke the count, the audience on fire as Salem managed to escape what was dreaded to be certain defeat! Half sitting up, Salems eyes were wide and savage like his namesake, slapping his chest with a feral yell that the audience howled back! "Like Lazarus back from the dead, so too has Salem come back a new man! This is a snake of a different color we're seeing here, King!"
"Bison can't believe it, the fans can't believe it, even I can't believe it, J.R.! 'The Show' must go on!"

The look on Bisons face was one of shock and confusion. He felt the kickout, looking at the referee seeing him holding up 2 fingers.
2...not 3...but 2!
The confusion soon shifted to fury as he bellowed at the official.
"Count faster, dammit! That was a clean ending!"
The referee repeated to Bison that this was in fact only a near fall.
Jr: Bison is furious now. Salem refused to stay down no matter what pain the alpha male is putting him through
King: we better have a stretcher ready, we know what happens when Bison gets this mad.
Bison wrapped his massive arms around the waist of showtime from behind, pulling him vertical before he aimed to plant him with a german suplex.

Salem had the heart but not the strength to avoid what was to come next! Despite kicking out, Bison's reach and power let him grab up Salem by the waist, pulling him to his feet as the crowd grew anxious and worried! Salem struggled to break the wristlock around him, digging into Bison's catcher's mitt hands, but it was no use - the Bohemian Behemoth lifting him high and falling backward, slamming Salem's shoulders painfully into the mat with a nasty German Suplex! "Good Lord, J.R.! Did you see how HIGH he got?! That might've broken Salem's shoulderblades!"
"God I hope not, King! But I don't know if Salem knows when to quit! I don't know if he CAN quit!"

The punishment wasn't over yet.. Bison held onto his grip around showtimes waist as he pulled him up once more.
Jr: good lord hes not gonna stop..this is shades of their last encounter!
King: I can't look!
Bison heaved his mighty muscles once more as he went for a second german suplex!

Salem was expecting Bison to release his grip after the suplex, but instead he kept the waistlock cinched in, rolling and lifting 'Showtime' for another debilitating rendition!
The fans booed riotously at Bison, some even tossing cups or popcorn bags into the ringside area at their anger and frustration for 'The Alpha Male'! But no amount of discomfort could dislodge Salem from Bison's grip as he was ragdolled once more onto the backs of his shoulders! "That had to hurt, J.R.! I don't know what Salem was thinking, kicking out!"
"I'll tell ya, King, he was thinking of his fans! He was thinking of his little girl, he was thinking of making them proud!"
"Like they say, J.R. - Pride goeth before a fall!"

Bison puffed as he started to stand up once more, his grip an unrelenting hold. The crowds boos started to grow silent as their anger was replaced by concern. Bisons glare was still filled with bloodlust as visions of finishing the job of ending Salems career played through his mind.
Jr: Bison find some humanity! Youve done enough already the man has a little girl at home who's probably watching! This is just a match, you don't need to end his career!
King: i think now would be a good time to change the channel!
Bison draped one of Salems arms on his shoulders as if for a back suplex, but as he hoisted his victim up he stopped half way and instead spun him out for a powerbomb!

The force of Bison's modified powerbomb made the ring ropes rattle, Salem succumbing to the repetitive impacts and struggling to lift his arms, his head throbbing from the intense slams!
Fans started to quiet down, others booed even louder, but all in attendance couldn't help but feel like the match was over! A tense veil of frustration filled the arena as Salem twitched and blinked through the pain! "The human body isn't meant for this! Who could get up after that, King?! It's despicable to do this to another human being!"
"I felt that powerbomb over here, J.R.! They might have to stop the match!"

With the final impact of the powerbomb, the torment had ceased, at least for the immediate moment. Bisons rage cooled as his face shifted once more to his sadistic smile. The crowd was still, eyes wide as they desperately searched for any sign of life from their hero.
The referee checked on him, shaking his head as he stood up and looked to the ramp, giving a sign calling for the medical team. When the ref went over to signal the bell ringer Bison intercepted him.
"No! Don't you ring that bell yet. I'm not done with him!"
The referee protested with the alpha male.
Jr: not done!? Dear god Salem isnt even moving! He can't take anymore!
King: stop him ref! Just end the match or theres gonna be a murder in the ring!
Bison towered over the official "if you ring that bell, you'll be on a stretcher beside him!"
With that threat, the referee caved. Bison licked his chops as he moved to the corner, slowly climbing to the top rope.
King: oh no! Nononono!
Jr: bah gawd that is 380 pounds of humanity looking to leap from the top!!
King: he wont just break Salem, he'll break the ring!
After perching at the top, Bison came down with a massive flying elbow drop.

Bison looked ready to end both the match and Salem's future, at the same time! Refusing to let the referee to check on Salem, getting up high for a big splash, the crowd rejected Bison's decisions and taunted him furiously for them! But as Bison leaped from the corner, Salem would roll out of the way and let Bison crash and burn hard against the canvas to a raucous amount of cheers! "Bison went high-risk, but no return on investment! Salem still has fight left in him, despite the odds!"
"Maybe his mouth finally wrote a check his butt can't cash, J.R.!"Crawling to the nearest corner, Salem appeared to be both trying to get up and catching his breath, crouched against the second turnbuckle! But as he tried to recover, Salem was actually using his body to shield the referee from seeing 'Showtime' starting to undo the cover on the second turnbuckle, loosening the ropes tying the padding over it while the referee briefly examined the fallen Bison!

Bison held his elbow as he winced in pain. The alpha male waved off the referee, however, as he started to get up.
King: I think that landing just made him angry again, JR.
JR: that arm is still going to be sore for some time, it might give Salem the opening he needs.
Bison rose to his feet as the crowd was in an uproar, their hope rising wirh Salems defiance.
Bison readied himself in the corner, beckoning Salem to rise, looking like a bull ready to charge.
After Showtime began to stand once more, The caribbean colossus went stampeding looking to crush him in the corner with a shoulder rush.

"Wait, J.R.! What's Salem doing?! He's taking that turnbuckle off, but the ref hasn't noticed! Hey, ref! He's playing dirty!"
"Is it dirty, King, after Bison nearly broke him with that spear through the barricade?! Is it dirty after Bison nearly broke him slamming that cage on him?! All's fair in love and war, and make no mistake, these two are at WAR right now!"Only Salem and the fans had caught onto his scheme, the metal cables and bolts of the exposed turnbuckle shielded from Bison and the ref's view as he undid the ropes tying the padding! Straightening up and turning as he realized Bison had recovered, 'Showtime' decided to stop playing possum and put his plan into action, taking advantage of Bison's headstrong charge by looking to reverse the big man's spear into one of his signature moves, a Pikey Spike DDT into the middle turnbuckle!

Bison was caught, his momentum causing his head to crash into the exposed steel buckle of the ring pad. The titanic competitor dropped to the mat in the corner.
JR: bah gawd. That massive man going head first into the steel.
King: I think it might be nap time for the alpha male!
Jr: this match has truly been neck and neck for these two competitors. Theyve been in several matches together in the past, they know each other so well.
King: looks like this time Salem is putting an end to his losing streak to Bison, but he'll have to turn that masive body over for the pin!

"What's he doing, J.R.! Instead of trying to go for a pin, he's getting out of the ring! Maybe Salem wants to run while he still can!"
"I don't think he's running from anything, King, I think he's looking to inflict more pain on Bison! More suffering! This man put him on the shelf for months, Salem wants his pound of flesh!"Salem knew it'd take too long trying to pull Bison away from the ropes with a cover, and opted instead to inflict some more damage! Sliding from the ring, 'Showtime' seized one of Bison's arms and dragged it out, stretching it past the ring post! Sizing up the distance, Salem backed up and looked to hit Bison's wrist into the post with another signature move, his Bicycle Kick affectionately named the "Mic Drop"!

sad Flesh met steel as Bisons wrist was kicked into the ring post.Bison let out a massive roar as he pulled his arm back, gripping his wrist in agony. He rolled away from the corner, the audience abke to see the stream of blood going down his forehead. Bison has been busted open!
JR: bah gawd! Salem gets his pound of flesh! Revenge for the injuries sustained at the hands of the alpha male! What a slobberknocker.
King: Bison better hope that wasnt his alone time hand!

Bison's recoil from the wrist kick into the corner post sent him rolling to the middle of the ring, clutching his forearms painfully as the fans cheered on his anguish! For his part, Salem ascended the turnbuckles, gesturing to the crowd by pointing upward and swirling his finger in the air as an homage, sizing Bison up! "It looks like the "Gypsy Savage" is gonna go Randy Savage, J.R.!"
"This is bad news for Bison, King! He's already bleeding, already hurt, this could be the final nail!"
Diving from the top rope and spinning his right arm for momentum, Salem would seek to drive an elbow into Bison's sternum as fans roared around him!
