Summers took exception to the comment by the rookie Fusion. The CEO never learned anything from anyone. Not even Freakshow, Summers was a self taught man, much to his own detriment. Summers looked to aim a trio of stomps to the lower face of Avari. "You got a smart mouth." Summers would retort before the first stomp. "Smart mouth and a dumbass." Summers would interject between stomps. "And I know you learned that from your dad." Shooto would finish in a mocking tone to the downed Fusion if the stomps went through.

Vaseline Man slabbed some of his best stuff on the apron just inside the rope in a far corner as the referee chastised Summers over his nasty tactics. He'd then jump up on the apron to draw the referee's fat Charles Robinson, over to his direction sending the rotund official down to canvas with a thud. Paul threw Summers the World Handicap Tag Team Champion bowling trophy during the commotion. The boss would wait for Avari to rise up and charge at the rookie with a shot across the forehead.

WHOOSH

The bowling trophy swings flies to the outside as a gust of wind is created with the CEO's miss. He as a look of bewilderment and shock as he not only didn't land the blow, but also threw out one of the most sought after items on the marketplace. Summers would drag his hands across the top of his head and turn around.

THUUUUUD

Summers is broken in two as Avari gets the high momentum spear on him. As soon ad the rookie's shoulder made contact, the champ's eyes popped out of his head and the crowd went banana. After the impact, Shooto could only let out a couple groans as he rolled back and forth holding his midsection.

Summers was rolled up for the pin which received no count. He took the opportunity for a breather. It was not long after that he was caught off guard when Avari flipped him ofer and took a clasp around his ankle. The CEO began to yell out in pain while he flailed his arms around. Paul began twirling the towel while he made his call to the champ, "Go for the Brazilian boss!" Summers kept that in his back pocket as he felt the pain waiting to make sure the coast was clear.

Regardless of how Avari would choose to continue the Ankle Lock, whether grapevine or vicious twists, Summers kept his ear alert for the official as his tendons tore. Hearing Bulbous Robinson's stomach slap the mat one last time before he would inevitably get up, Summers used the Brazilian tap hoping to take advantage of the naive rookie. Slapping the mat twice in quick fashion but not a third to signal an official tap out think it might fool Fusion into breaking his hold.

Summers was freed from the hold Avari had on him after the chicanery the reformed criminal managed. Desperately, Shooto crawled towards the ropes to grab Paul and Vaseline Man who could pull him out of the ring. The pair each wrapped one of Summers's arms around their shoulders to keep him upright after the damage the Fusion clan member put on him. Paul congratulated him on the brilliant maneuver.

King: Heh heh WOW JR! Avari Fusion just got a BBL! You know what that is? Ha! Ha!

JR: No King I don't. I just see a young ROOKIE trying to put his heart into this match for the tens of thousands in attendance and millions at home. And you're here with your friend, Vince Russo to make jokes at his expense. Why? Because some cheating, no good son of a b***h that does your move is wrestling? I'm sick and tired of having to call this man's matches when I always have to deal with this Marauder nonsense every time.

King: A Brazilian Brantley Lift, because he just lifted Brantley's leg and he got away. Haha! Ha!

Russo: Good one bro.. you know that bowling trophy was something we got off Howard Stern's recurring segment with Tony the Gooch on Tuesdays. New Yawk guy like me. Bowling was all the rage in the ninedeez bro. We knew the World Handicap thing would be over bro. Knew it.

JR: You weren't even around the company back then, let alone in the office with Tim.

Russo: Bro, did you watch the Attitude Era? I was involved in all the hits.

Summers and his team huddle up briefly like quail. The Marauders were quickly trying devise their plan with Avari still in the ring. Chunky Charles has managed to crawl away from the slippery area, pulled himself to his feet during this, and began the ring out count.

The trio were paying no attention to the ring. Jobber mistake thinking they could just make plays on the sideline while the referee counted. It wasn't long before they were shown the error in their ways when Avari came flying through the sky like Yokosuka K5Y. They didn't have a nice old lady to take the brunt of the impact this match and the more youthful competitor sent the Marauders to the floor when he landed.

Vaseline hit the floor and slid halfway down the ringside apron into the stairs knocking them over. Paul was not the Buddy Rose like bumper he was in his early days and landed harder than a normal, finding it hard to move and causing his knees to tremble as he tried to crawl away. Summers got the worst of the landing as Fusion mostly landed on him during the move. He couldn't do much more than lay there and try to collect all the air that left his body while he held his midsection, it having taken the brunt of the damage in the match.

Summers let out a cough as if he was choking on something at the referee's count. Flopping over to his stomach he started to push himself up to his knees as if he was praying to catch a breathe. The crowd was hot after Avari's breathe taking aerial maneuver.



The Back to Nature Boy official had to take a breathe. He couldn't continuously count that long, normally the official got to stop at three. He knew he had the occasional five but he never practiced enough.



Summers was able to make it back to one knee by the five count while trying to heal his sore body that was no longer used to having punishment dealt to him. The boss was also missing both his medicinal associates and their ointments and procedures for pain reduction.
