With not much time at all to reset, Avari is soon picked up again and in to a big hold. He felt the life squeezed out of him momentarily.. as then his spine is sent ramming in to the ring post!
The ref leans over and shouts at Marcus to bring the fight back in to the ring.

Marcus would have dropped Avari, but he probably should get him back in the ring. At this point, he would attempt to roll him into the ring under the bottom rope

There's not much fight going on from the smaller man as Avari is rolled in to the ring. He takes an opportunity to continue rolling a little, however, and tries to get under the bottom rope on another side and lays on the apron.

Marcus slides into the ring and rises to his feet again. He walks across the ring and looks to catch a hold of Avari's legs and pull him back from under the bottom rope

Avari takes just a moment to breathe before his legs are pulled under the bottom rope. He holds on to it for a moment before the force of Marcus instead has him towards the center of the ring.

with Avari now away from the ropes, Marcus elects to keep it simple but effective, as he attempts to drop an elbow across the smaller man's chest and hold it there for a pin attempt

The elbow comes down hard on the the sternum of Avari, as the ref drops for a count when he realises there's a pin attempt.
One!
T-
Fusion raises his shoulder quickly, as he shakes his head and gasps a little for air. The ref calls to the side that it was just a one count, as the crowd clap and cheer on Avari.

Marcus didn't expect to actually get the win there, but it did make Avari exert extra energy to kick out. That was necessary. So he gets up again and goes to pull the smaller man up, then irish whip him to the corner, this time aiming to follow him in with a clothesline against the buckle

Avari is, once again, up to his feet. The constant back and forth between being picked up and knocked down is making him feel a little fatigued, but he knows he has to start fighting back a little.
He's easily whipped in to the corner.. but as Marcus comes running at him, he attempts to slip under the top rope to the apron

Marcus thought he had things well in hand, but Avari manages to duck his clothesline and instead Marcus hits the corner at full speed. The big man stumbles back, belatedly thinking that he needs to keep Avari in his sights

Knowing that he needs to get a big bit of momentum on his size, Avari sizes up Marcus. He leaps up on to the top rope, bounding off and attempting a flying clothesline!

unfortunately Marcus' own momentum had worked against him, and as he turns to get Avari in sight, the smaller man launches himself off the top rope with a flying clothesline that finally knocks Marcus completely off his feet and leaves him laying in the center of the ring

The crowd cheered as the high-flying move connected, as Avari hooked the leg for the pinfall!

Marcus forces his shoulder off the canvas and sits up, once against shaking his head to clear it. Pushing his hair out of his face, he begins to make his way to his feet again

Avari takes a moment to breathe on the mat, before rolling and getting up to his feet. He raises a fist in the air to the crowd, getting them going ahead, as he walks towards the legs of Marcus.
He takes the time to methodically stomp down on each part of the leg..
Left ankle. Right knee. Right ankle. Left shin.
He will try and keep doing this to wear Marcus down.
