Kinoru started to sniff the ground and so did Kao "It smells like sensei is near by, but there's another scent thats throughing it off it's.....it's.......Acorns?" Kinoru stood up and closed his eye's "Guy's I need both of you to be as quiet as possible" Kinoru started to listen to all that was around him.

Edge considered it for a moment. "If that wire thing is flowing with Chakra to make it move I think I can stop it. Though Kaida I will say this now. Please trust your fellow team members. I think our Sensei has made it so we can't locate or catch him on our own unless we use our skills together."

(First off you are being rude because we did read Sensei's post... It stated that there was a pitfall and YOU had fallen in. In fact here is sensei's lines

now beyond that here was another post, this one by edge, which would leave you in the hole.

"Hmm I don't like this one bit. It's like he's forcing us to cut one of the wires or to assume theres only just wires around here. Kinoru are you ok at the moment? Can you see anything down there that coul label or hint to another trap?"

"Down there" could only be the pitfall or hole we have been speaking about thus far....

Now since you did not mention in your post after that that you weren't in the hole the post stands valid and would anyway because sensei put you in the hole in the first place. Not only that but you had TWO posts in which you did not mention being outside the hole so one would have to assume your location was the hole... Now... with reasoning and with the evidence presented here.... your location.... IS THE HOLE... your posts stand as valid so far because you could still preform such acts within the hole but in the hole you stay with the scary puppet, and thats final... no arguing it unless sensei has something to say about it.)

Kaida stood there for a moment then glanced over to Edge. She held her silence for a moment then carefully walked over to the tree where the thin wire disappeared into. She looked up and then glanced over to Edge. "If the wire were cut... no chakra would flow through it... no movement of the puppet then right? As long the other wires hold it up... it can't hurt Kinoru right?"

*inside the pitfall with Kinoru was this puppet against the wall...he had drill-like appendages sticking out of its arms and was struggling to lean in and drill through Kinoru...however, very thin wires were holding back the puppet...*

*if the team took the time to look around...small glints of reflected sunlight could be seen all around the hole...newly set up as the falling action sprung them into position from their dormant states...however...there were 5 wires set up around the hole, but only 4 were visible holding back the puppet around its limbs...1 of the 5 wires seemed obviously to lead directly towards the puppet, into the chest of the puppet, while the other 4 seemed to head towards tree branches...the 4 wires did seem double the thickness of the 1 though...*

*If the team carelessly tripped these wires, they would snap, and Kinoru would most likely suffer some damage...if Kinoru would attempt to jump out, he'd most likely trip a wire upon exiting and again, set the puppet loose...it was like a carefully planned bomb...cutting the wrong wire could lead to death, but the correct one may have some effect...who knows...*

I know it's pretty much gotten confusing but thats how we've interpreted it. You'll have to ask Shunketsu what he meant if we need to resolve this without hassle)

Edge pondered her question for a moment. "Yes as long there was no Chakra flow he wouldn't be able to control the doll. However since there is a link via Chakra....."

Edge performed Kage Mane no Jutsu to link his shadow to the puppet and strings and began one of his new moves. Shadow drain like Kagemane uses his shadow to trap a target but drain their chakra. Since the Chakra flow would be flowing into the doll via chakra links he should be able to use it almost in the same way. Though he didn't think that sort of thing would happen. If this worked he hoped it would drain some of the chakra from sensei or if not slow the puppet to a crawl.

((referring to the post of Kinoru's where "Kinoru ran off with Kao", this was meant to trigger the trap...and yes Kinoru...you are in the hole, along with your pet...the puppet would not be in close proximity to you otherwise...

basically, the 2nd bolded part is meant to keep the team from jumping into the wires, and also to keep Kinoru inside the hole...the puppet is currently tied to the earthen wall via the wires, which lead from somewhere beyond the branches, into the ground, and out into the pitfall, wrapping around the arms and legs of the puppet...one single wire comes out of its chest and leads to somewhere in the trees...

anyways, I apologize for any confusion within this obstacle...but I am thoroughly surprised as to how no one caught the subtle hints and took initiative...I only have to warn you that the next obstacles will only increase in difficulty as the solution will be less clear...))

*the squirrel stopped brushing under its nose...hoping that one of the students will catch on and realize that the most efficient solution was really under their noses...It grew impatient waiting for them to cut the single wire that seemed to be the thinnest and had the chakra flowing through it...and now, one of them is using up chakra that he may need later...the 1st obstacle was only to get them used to what will be coming...it jumped off the tree...*

*speedily, it ran to Kaida and crawled up Kaida's leg, grabbed a kunai out of her holster via its mouth, jumped off Kaida, dived through the wire trap, cut the single wire, and landed safely on the other side of the pitfall...*

*the puppet immediately halted and fell limp...as no more chakra was being put into it...*

*the squirrel then ran to a tree and carved 5 circles on it with the kunai...it then put an X through the 1st one...finally, it did a backflip kick, jamming the kunai into the middle of the X, and landed on the ground, scurrying away and out of sight...*

*a clone of Shunketsu's landed on the ground from the canopy above...*

Clone: Strike One...a ninja must quickly analyze the situation and take the most efficient course of action...If you were on a mission, the amount of time you took would have allowed the enemy to regroup and counter, leaving not just one of your members in danger, but the whole group...Lesson One: Efficiency...Lesson Two: Cost/Benefit Analysis...Let me remind you: First to reach me equals Freedom from the academy...

*the clone disappeared in a puff of smoke...*

As for you Shunketsu I would like to state that between most of the group there was no confusion... and as for our time in replying and never finishing that part of the mission I don't believe that Edge or I wanted to god mode and wanted this rp to last a bit. Sadly my next move was going to be to cut the friggin wire -.- . Anywho... thank you for clearing up this matter.)

Kaida stood there but a moment longer and as she was about ready to grab her kunai and end this ordeal now that her thoughts had been confirmed she was too late for a fuzzy rodent like creature had stolen it and made its way to the wire. She watched it cut the wire and run off with her kunai. "Stupid squirrel." She watched the clone appear and as it said its peace Kaida couldn't help but glare at her teammate's foolishness. "First we are too fast... then not fast enough... stay with the group.... learn from other's mistakes..." She shakes her head. " I will not be sent back to the acadamy because of either of you. Let's go... We need to ace the next few parts to this test... Work together as a team... stay close... and don't wander... got it... I will not tolerate failure... even if it is my own...." Kaida had a strong determined look on her face. She had sacrificed enough to get here, to endure life this far.... she would not fail to achieve what she wanted.

((Kaida, to maintain some level of cooperation between teammates, please try to be lenient on them...Any outright dissing will lead to more anger...no offense...okie? sweatdrop

This will go for the whole team...if there's any confusion with my tests, then discuss it with me...You're here to RP together, not make eachother want to leave the guild...If your tolerance is near its limit, speak to me via PM and I'll sort things out...

Edge sighed at the results and just followed after the two other teammates. He kept an eye on the surroundings knowing full well they'd or possibly himself would fail the test but for now he had to keep going.
