Trent would slip the headlock in, due to him being greasy and slippery, and Roode would reach around, not wanting to be in this long.

Trent struggled to keep Roode in the hold, but doing his best to apply pressure for as long as he can and wear down the champion!

Still in the hold, Roode would eventually get to a knee, starting to get looser out of Trents grasp.

Trent would continue to wrench on the head of the opponent as he slowly began to lose the leverage on the hold

Roode would get on both feet, and attempts to slip out of the headlock and turn it into a neckbreaker on Trent!

Trent was thrown off by the sudden movement of Roode as he would have the back of his head slam against the mat with the neckbreaker

Roode sits up and favors his neck and jaw from the headlock, now trying to gain his control of the match.

This would be the biggest amount of damage done to Trent so far in the match, so he looked to try and recover. Getting up to a knee

Roode goes to Trent, picking him up enough to throw him through the middle and top rope to the outside floor.

Trent was snatched from his kneeling position and tossed through the ropes harshly to the outside of the ring

Roode was about to get into his element, of physically punishing his challengers, especially here after the hot start from Trent. He rolls out of the ring near where Trent was sent.

Bobby goes over to Trent, picking him up. He attempts to lift him over his shoulder, and drop him on his chest on the top of the barricade!

With Trent back down on the floor, Roode places a hand on the barricade for leverage, and starts sending some hate filled stomps to Trent right where he dropped him on that barricade.
