He handed the plate over as requested and headed back to get the tub ready. In a spur of romantic impulse, he even lit a couple gently scented candles. A little extra care for the moment wouldn't hurt anything. Not that the moment needed that much help once they started helping each other clean up...
Some time later, they had ended up back in the bedroom. Surrounded by thick pillows and heavy furs against the outside chill, Ergon contently snuggled against Riya. His fingers ran along her sides and belly, touching along the crystals that dotted her skin. "Have I told you lately how beautiful you are?" he murmured lightly.

The plate was placed on the counter next to hers before she went to follow after her husband....
Curled up with Ergon she felt her body shiver when he ran his fingers over her crystals. "Yes, but I like hearing it." She smirked at him before she nuzzled her face against his neck. Riya was content to be in his arms and surrounded by their pillows and furs. She placed a kiss to his pulse point and smiled. "You are quite handsome yourself you know."

He chuckled lightly and hugged her closer. "You are so beautiful," he purred lightly. Outside the home, he carried a no-nonsense attitude. Inside the privacy of his own home though, he could let the walls down and just be a husband there with his beloved wife. His cheeks flushed slightly with pleasure at the returned compliment. Okay, so a little of that outside propriety still lingered. Still, he chuckled again while his hand rose to stroke his fingers through her hair. "That's what you keep telling me, and I have no reason to doubt you."

She lifted her head just enough to see his blush and grinned. Her head leaned into his hand as he put it through her hair. "Mm. Can't doubt someone who picked the best from the start." The cute coloring of his cheeks would get a small peck. "You are adorable when you blush too." Riya had always enjoyed seeing her husband's face color, it reminded her that he wasn't all strict rules and proper manners all the time.

Ergon snorted lightly and pressed a kiss to Riya's forehead. "When you're right, you're right." His brow cocked with interest, his chuckle turning into a lazy laugh. "Don't rub it in," he scoffed as his fingers ran down along her spine next to dance over each ridge to distract from the reaction of his cheeks. The heat on his face wasn't always easy to come by, but Riya had the magic touch to bring it out practically whenever she wanted. How embarrassing.
Still, he could lay like this all night. "You don't have to get up too early tomorrow, do you?"

"Hm, and I thought as your wife I was always right.." She pretended to be slightly offended but quickly snuggled closer to him. As he told her not to rub it in she shifted so that one hand moved up to rub at his cheek. "I would never." Riya giggled a little as she settled her head down on his chest.
She thought about what she needed to do tomorrow before she shook her head, her eyes staring at a spot on the wall. "No. Class doesn't start til late morning." She didn't want to make it too early or the kids would be too tired to do much.

He snorted lightly. "As my wife.. well, I can not disagree." Despite the teasing, Ergon snuggled contently into the blankets a little more when Riya snuggled closer and nuzzled her hand as well. His hand rose to run through her hair some more while his other arm hugged her close. Ahh, she fit so perfectly in his arms...
Of course, this put him in the perfect position to pull her up higher on his body so that he could give her hair a light tug to pull her head back. "Then you can stay up a little bit later, yes?" he cooed, dipping to press a couple kisses to Riya's jaw. Part of him wanted to get in as many attempts as he could, but there was no denying that the attraction he had for his wife was equally strong.

She grinned as he said he couldn't disagree since she knew he wouldn't. When he started to run his fingers through her hair she closed her eyes to enjoy the sensation. It was a relaxing feeling after all. Although with him moving her farther up and then tugging on her hair, well.. the noise she made she was not responsible for.
"Hm? I suppose I could stay up later." Riya certainly wasn't going to say no to spending more time with her husband, nor was she going to stop him from giving her attention. As he kissed along her jaw she trailed her hand over his collarbone then down his chest, dragging her nails ever so lightly to give him a bit of a chill.

A knowing smirk rose on his lips, her involuntary noise music to his ears. Oh, how he adored her... Her words were just as pleasing as well. The touch of her hand sent the desired shivers down his back, a pleased sigh slipping from his lips. Grinning lightly, he hugged her tighter so that they would roll until she was pinned beneath him. "I'll try to make sure we don't stay up too late," he murmured against her cheek. Try would be the operative word there. How could one make a promise when the bed and the company were so warm and cozy?

When they rolled she let out a small squeak, mostly because she had been comfortable where she was. Of course when she was left to look up at him and he claimed he would try to make sure they weren't up late she giggled at him. "Uh huh.." Riya moved her arms to wrap around him and she turned her head so that she could kiss his cheek. "I think we're both going to be late tomorrow.."
