Comments: Spoilered for two large bees. Of my "metallic" bugs, these look the most realistic.
Resizing wasn't kind as usual. But past that, the bees ruined the balance that the honey comb had between the dark and shiny areas. Well, I like the balance it had before the bees. I really like this drawing overall so I'll have to rework this to see if I can get some of the balance back. > <

Had some fun with this one cuz all the "style challenges" have been focused on a specific anime/manga series. Basically, style challenges only challenge anime and don't challenge any other cartoon styles or art genres or techniques... so far. I haven't seen most of these series so, for me, it's not worth the extra study time to get familiar with each one before attempting the styles. Which is fine. XD I get that's why there are so many daily prompts to pick from. I liked this one's convenient title.

Comments: This went so wrong. I blame my migraine. I'm not saying it would've been immensely better without a migraine, but it didn't help. I selected the wrong brush twice (two different brushes, two different times). I colored the majority of the art thinking "hmm, this wasn't the texture I was expecting." ...And yet, I'd continue to color. I didn't think to stop coloring and grab the brush that I wanted. XD ... Well I did. But then grabbed a different, incorrect brush and continued to color, thinking it wasn't the texture I was expecting. :/
Granted, I don't think the correct brush would've magically made this good... so it's moot anyway. I chose Grookey (from Pokémon) since it had a lot of similar colors to the palette. I don't really like Grookey so that didn't help either. XD

Comments: In spoiler cuz there's a moth/butterfly on some rosemary. I originally just planned to watercolor some rosemary but felt like making it look less basic. Gotta love low effort, fast backgrounds. B] Well XD it's all low effort and fast, but shhhh.

Comments: I’ve had an ongoing headache for days. It’s mild ish and I normally wouldn’t mention it, but it’s been affecting my art (both desire and thought process). That said, this turned out way better than I thought it would. I normally avoid flowers of this shape since I don’t do them justice, but purposely stylizing it “funky” from the start made it work
