Tiamat smiled albeit a little shyly as Raelyn greeter her, and soon showed interest in the small wyvern that was her companion. Looking down at the curious creature, Tia turned her attention back onto the lavender faired girl beside her with the intention of revealing the name of her wyvern companion, only then noticing that Raelyn had taken her attention away from their own little conversation within this hectic room and out into the area beyond the window once again. Leaning forward to look passed Raelyn, she attempted to see what the female was watching that caused her body to tense up so readily. Tiamat's gaze narrowed immediately at the scene of a female student slamming against the wall just beside their window, and what appeared to be a small silver haired girl waving from the other side and walking away with a lunch box in hand. "What- Stop her- Yes! Go! Go!" She says while her mind reeled at the scene that she had just witnessed before her, what was even going on?! Tiamat shook her head in order to clear it, her medium length pink hair being sent in and out of her face, before she snagged her weapon from beside her and sent herself sailing out of the window just behind her new ally. Her wyvern bouncing and leaping in order to grip onto her shoulder in the process. With a not so graceful frontal slide, mostly on her knees, Tiamat leaped back onto her feet after making it out the window and ran back towards the girl that had struck against the wall with some sort of untold force. Her yellow eyes shooting back behind her as she yells out to Raelyn who had already begun running after the other girl. "I will check the students! Go find her! I can catch up when I can!" She yells before turning and placing her free hand onto the throat of the girl left laying by the wall. "s**t.. Necks broken, she is dead." Tiamat closed her eyes briefly, the hand that was on the female's neck moving upwards to close the eyes that revealed the girl's startled expression before bringing her hands together in front of her face and murmuring some sort of prayer or wish of some kind under her breath. Tia then turns on her heel and races off towards the male Academy student that she knew Raelyn had briefly checked before running off. Sliding to a stop before the male, she knelt down and checked for a pulse for him too. "Nothing.. s**t.. Why did this- Ugh!" Tia practically screams in frustration, while rolling the male over and repeating the process of closing his eyes, and then bringing her hands together while kneeling over him. The same prayer like murmuring would be done before she slowly rose to her feet, her face contorting in both anger and sadness as she slowly looked in the direction of the way Raelyn and the girl that had murdered these two students had gone. "I hope justice is being served.." She says, although more under her breath as she leans down and grabs her sword and then runs off in the same direction of the way that Raelyn and the silver haired girl had gone, of course without a real plan or destination, it was unlikely that she would reach either of them quickly enough to be helpful in what was sure to be a fight.

Isis fell backwards to sit upon the ground while she continued to nibble at the sandwich in her slender grasp, her pale red eyes remaining locked on this male all throughout, even as he refers to her as a little vampire, a curious sentiment to be sure. She did not feel that she had the qualifications to be called a vampire in the slightest, especially as she did not enjoy the taste of blood or anything like that? Isis shook her head in order to clear it of the strange thoughts that this male's words were inducing inside of it, while she took one last bite of the sandwich, not even bothering to respond to his statements about her getting a deal on the boxed lunch or anything of the kind. When he had finished the meal, she snatched the now mostly empty lunch box from his lap and snapped it shut once again before placing it beside her and allowing a smile to fall across her lips. "My name is Akasun, Isis. A resident of Hidden Sand, as you may have guessed from your previous statements." She pauses as he goes on to explain about his future intentions of leaving and heading to what she assumed to be his own home village of Hidden Void. Nodding her head as she does so, while a pale red eye slowly cranes to the side to peer in the direction of a new intruding force that had arrived in the distance and begun making threatening advances towards the two of them. Thankfully enough, this older male was already rising to his feet and heading in the opposite direction of the vengeful good aligned spirit, that was the lavender haired female she had taunted through the window not too long ago. She immediately stifled a twisted smirk that was forming across her lips and replaced it with a sudden giggle as she rose up to her own feet. "Okay Oniisan, I will meet you at Hidden Void as soon as I am finished up here.. It looks like I have to meet another friend of mine, maybe she expected to have lunch with me? Too bad I shared it with you instead huh?" She giggles once again, before immediately raising a hand to wave in the direction of the exiting Hidden Void shinobi, and then leaned downwards to snatch the lunch box from the ground. Turning on her heel, she immediately began heading towards the lavender haired girl that was brandishing her broadsword at her violently.

As soon as she took the last few steps to get within ear shot of the female's yelling. A slender silver eyebrow rose in realization of what this girl was going on and on about, while she casually strolled forwards with a small frown forming across her lips. "I killed someone? When!? I was here the whole time, eating lunch with my Oniisan in the shade of those trees.. When could I even have time to see anyone else, never mind kill someone!' Isis says, bringing the lunch box to sway at her side while she raises a hand to her face in the act of a surprised gasp, rather obviously fake shock forming across her pale facial features as she takes the last few steps to be nearby enough to the girl, yet still out of range of her large blade. "Are you sure you have not mistaken me for someone else? There is a lot of Academy Students around this year, maybe there is someone that looks similar to me?" She says while casually gesturing out to the area around them, the soft motion of her hand sending a string of chakra out to rebound around a couple of the nearby trees, creating a nearly invisible trip line between herself and the lavender haired warrior before her.

A sigh of relief came from the dark haired girl. The last thing she needed on her schedule was to be called out had time treated her to a different outcome. "Okay, great, thanks."

She extended out a hand in the intent of a handshake to Xzavior followed by the other boy he was conversating with prior to her arrival, giving a friendly smile to the two . "Ciaran Blaise, nice to meet you all as well!" They appeared to be out of her age bracket by a few birthdays compared to her appearance; one of the few things she hypothesized. She couldn't have been the oldest here could she? A glance her peripherals caught left the back of her mind in a state of surmise...But it didn't appear to matter. The key word was 'appear'; being aware that looks(specifically age), if being the driving force of gauging one's character would run out of gas not long after the ignition. It only reinforced, solidified her intel about the academy. "Ciara works fine as well."

There were many other students in the classroom that were out of the ordinary bunch. A few that caught her eye utilized weapons like the scythe woman, only there's were more discreet and certainly didn't "drag" them down. One of the student who came equipped like Ciara appeared to be a blind student; her eyes covered by a dark sash of some sort. Another student was a sword wielder as well but like the previous student(of many) something was also unique about her. In the front row(an early student no doubt) a reptile of sorts no bigger than the desk they all had rested gently on the surface. Had it looked it her way, an inquisitive expression would have formed on Ciaran's face, followed up with a soft wave gesture with an index and middle finger. "How did she get one of those?" she wondered.

Her curiosity also began to grow when she was drawn into the conversation between the student and the 'teacher'? The tone between the two were on opposite ends of the spectrum. One one piece of the board the man sitting in the academy student's seat, questioning his credentials as a teacher with what sounded like a threat at the end. In addition to the tailored red and black clothing from Ciaran one would assume at the least the roles were switched; some sort of weird experiment to observe students' temperament? On the other side of the table, the 'teacher', or Lucius retorted back with little if zero signs of backing down.

"Um..."A finger pointed towards the two and wagged back and forth between the two. "Do we not have a teacher? Or are they running late also?" she asked the two. The more the two went back and forth the more she was convinced that she was in fact, earlier than she thought according to the teacher. Plus she wasn't convinced that a teacher(an academy teacher at that) would reduce their students down to 'rats'.

But just as her heart rate began to relax at it's normal pace and her body began to reach a serene state, suddenly she perked up at the next person that came in; not in excitement but from pure shock. The tattoed boy's introduction was definitely one that would be hard to forget. His eyes were covered from his untamed hair yet somehow he was able to see through it like it wasn't even there. "Are those guns??" she thought to herself. Just what the hell kind of shenanigans did they land Ciara in? But the boy's attention despite his arrival was already hooked on the same group of 'characters' Ciaran was drawn to before.

Ciara wiped the remaining beads of sweat from her head with the inside of her elbow followed with a sigh through her nose. "This is going to be one of those days isn't it?" she asked in a low tone to Xzavior and the other academy student.

User ImageQin Mei's eyes brightened and widened much like a child would in a sweets boutique as she saw a familiar sight. "Isidora~" a sugar laced coo escaped her lips as she attempted to wrap her arms around the girl. The ghost would stop just short on an actual hug simply mimicking the gesture as she knew doing the act would be pointless. "Oh I'm playing as always. I can't even pretend to do the work. I'm sooo happy to see you. This is Lexy and Yuka. I just met them." she would motion to each individual respectively. "This is Isidora. My best friend ever! We grew up together." As Isidora produced the two vials Qin Mei nearly gasped. "Oh Oh! I know what these are!" This was a lie she had no idea what they were, but was always willing to play along. "They give your skin a healthy, youthful glow." she would run her fingertips underneath her chin highlighting her own youthful beauty. "I'm jealous~ I would take them myself but.... well you get it." a short giggle would escape her lips. However her cheerful and playful nature would shatter when the vial crashed into the wall. "A simple no would suffice." the words were nearly laced with venom. The words were true at no point did her friend try to force the vial. Yuka could have declined it even in a rude or cold manner, but the violence in rejecting it was extremely unnecessary. There was no doubt that she would remember this. A smile creeped upon her lips once more, albeit a forced fake one. "Now Now Yuka. Everyone can see you for what you are if you push the I'm cold and tough agenda too much." Her attention was quickly turned back to Lexy. "The boo? What makes you think it was murdered?" The small ghost was a friend of hers. Indeed it was one she teased but never in a malicious way to warrant such a question.

It was a fortunate thing that the events unfolding tore her attention away from the two strangers as she was starting to grow bored. Perhaps it was the familiarity with death that made her notice the bodies hitting the wall, and the two others in pursuit. "Looks like that's our cue." she would say to her business partner. "Oh Lexy. I get that she saved you and all... but a life of servitude is a really bad look." she would say one last time before leaving. Lexy was more transparent than the other one but at lease she was more likeable. The ghost would simply go through the window with ease as was the luxury of having being a specter. She would find a pink haired girl still at the scene of where the victims were. "I'm Qin...." she started to introduce herself but the pink haired girl took off. Which was good considering she didn't want the other girl to be alone. Who knew what else the perpetrator of this awful sight could be capable of? The young girl leaned down to begin examining the deceased. By simple observations it seemed the neck was broken. However being in the line of work she was in she knew the capabilities of human survival were far greater than given credit. First she would check for breathing. Sometimes it was easy to mistaken shallow breathing for none at all. There was no movement in the chest area. Then she would check for a pulse. There was nothing there as well. It was hard to fathom that something like this would happen on these grounds on the very first day of academy.

Callum
Hidden Arts (Jenrei Clan)

---
There were some things that were as true in human society as they were in the forest, where few (if any) humans ever tread. There were some humans that posed a threat to others, always. Predators, who killed without thought or remorse. Others were destined to struggle for survival at the hands of the predators, becoming sly and cunning enough to avoid capture, adapting to danger, or else succumbing to it and perishing. There were few creatures that were exempt from this, neither predator or prey. Callum was one.

These laws were universal of all animal life. The strong and violent destroy the meek and powerless. Life feeds on life. The cycle goes on. Callum had witnessed this cycle for many seasons, known it personally. He had been on both sides of that eternal conflict, and had managed to survive so far, through cunning or violence. These children around him did not know struggle, did not know what it meant to survive. Their lives in civilization had left them soft, a target for the predators that lurked among them. They were not vigilant against the danger that moved through their ranks, and under Callum’s watchful gaze, the prey were slaughtered by the predators.

Callum watched the brief conflict from high up in the branches of a maple tree on the outskirts of the “forest”, high enough to get a view of the area where the students had gathered. He hunched low on the branch, watching from cover, trying to remain hidden as he saw the violence unfold. One second, the students were eating amongst their kind, and the next second their fate met them at the hands of another student, clearly a predator, as far as the archetypes of nature held in this place. The prey often were the most vulnerable while they ate, Callum knew. This was as true of humans as it was the creatures of the forests and plains where he was raised, far from others like him.

There were few “human” things Callum really understood, but this was one of them. In this way, Humanity was indistinguishable from nature, but for the weapons they used. Most humans were soft, coddled by their lives. Most humans were ill-suited for predation, no comparison to the predators that lurked beyond the lights of their villages. But here, amongst their own, with their iron claws and training, and no greater predators in sight, human predators were deadly and ruthless, killing not out of necessity, but for leisure, for control. Humans were the cruelest predators, Callum had observed in his short time among them. These poor students had learned that harsh lesson all too well before they could ever be prepared for the danger that awaited. They hadn’t stood a chance.

As the students’ limp bodies fell, one by one, Callum watched in silence, a knowing grimace on his face. The human in him, the small spark of “normality” that his parents had given him before their passing, felt sorrow for these students, as their blood began to leak out onto the ground below the corpses. But this was nature, even if the others did not see it that way. A predator had taken its prey. Callum had seen this scenario pay out countless times with countless different creatures. Seeing humans behave this way gave Callum a sense of resigned comfort. When humans became beasts, he understood them better, as terrible as it was. He could relate to a violent human, because they acted scarce different than an angry ape. All the rules of society, all the man-made social regulations fell to the wayside in the throes of anger, or passion, or bloodlust. When emotions became heightened, the beast emerged, Callum observed.

He was not happy to see these students cut short in their lives, but he could at least understand the dynamics at play, a rarity in the world of humans. In a twisted way (even to Callum’s mind) he was relieved to see this happening here, in the midst of “polite society”. He had not expected to find anything familiar here. He had expected to be a stranger in a strange world that he did not understand, and that did not understand him. It seemed that he had overestimated how “civilized” this place truly was, something that Callum both dreaded and was relieved for. While things were a little less mystifying here, he found himself somewhat disappointed to see “civilization” behaving in this way. Animals killed for survival, for food or safety. These children were already killing for pleasure, so early in their lives and training. This did not bode well, Callum knew.

He had climbed this tree long before anything of note was happening. He had arrived a little later to the Academy, and had decided not to enter when he saw how large the crowd was. Callum was uneasy around this world, one he did not know, and had little desire to. The simulated forest here was small, and very unnatural to one with the eyes to notice. There was no variety, none of the chaos that ruled over a true forest. But it was better than a building, of this Callum was certain. While he had adapted somewhat well to life among people, the idea of a building was not one he was keen to experience. He preferred to have the sky above his head, where he could smell the air, and hear the sounds of nature. Eager to be away from the unfamiliar throngs, he had chosen a tall tree from where he could observe the others, unseen.

Buildings were always so loud and echoed horribly. Callum couldn’t hear himself think indoors, couldn’t hear danger even if a tiger was right behind him, for the din of voices and laughter, babbling monkeys at play. He felt vulnerable, all his experience rendered useless. He had immediately gone to the forest to avoid it, and had remained there, watching from the trees for a few hours before any other students came near to the treeline. The Predator had run into the forest, another in pursuit (a warrior among the prey, Callum assumed), her prey lying dead on the ground. Another student approached a few moments later, much closer to his location than the others had been.

Having just witnessed an act of gruesome violence, he immediately was on high alert, crouching low against the branch, every muscle tensed, ready for motion, either towards or away from this possible threat. Was she going to eat the bodies? While he had not seen cannibalism among Humanity yet, he couldn’t be sure. Many creatures ate their own kind, from time to time. He did not know enough about life outside of the Hidden Arts Village to be sure. Indeed, he had not spent much of his time around the people in his village either.

He watched silently, holding his breath as the figure, a female, hunched over one of the corpses, and then another. She seemed to be checking for signs of life, Callum realized with a sense of relief, though he did not make his location known yet, continuing to watch as the girl muttered a curse to herself, drawing a blade, and entering the tree line. A steel claw of her own.

It seemed she was not prey or predator either, much like himself, and that she intended to rid this place of predators. To protect the prey. Much like himself.

As she dashed into the trees, he followed from above, silently leaping from branch to branch, keeping pace without a sound that could be distinguished from the general sound of the forest.

Isidora's immediate friendly appearance snapped into a sharp cold glare in a moment's notice, the vials she had held out to the two perspective friends were a precious commodity from her village, something that most of the time she took precious time out of her day just to make the vials themselves, never mind the substance within the vial which was equally as valuable in her eyes. A quick shiver ran through her body, before she plastered the friendly smile back upon her face once again and turned her attention to her friend who was equally as angered by this person's reaction to a simple friendly gesture. "You know.. I don't care about your background or anything, but actions like that may as well be someone spitting in my face as a Witch.." Isidora says as she stands up and leans forwards towards Aoki Yuka, in order to be close enough to be relatively right in her face, Isidora's sharp cold sapphire eyes staring directly at the female's face as she begins to speak once again while raising a hand to brush her long silver hair out of her face and behind her ear.
"Retaliating
A poor, frozen girl explodes
Justifying this."

Immediately upon finishing her words, and while beginning to lower the hand she used to brush her hair from her face, an explosion of magical chakra like energy erupted from her fingertips and would attempt to slam into Aoki Yuka with a decent chunk of force, probably nothing all that actually damaging, but enough to knock her from her chair or something to that effect. Immediately after this, she would turn on her heel and head for the window that her friend had already made her way out of, well, sort of did since ghosts don't really need to use doors and such right? Either way, Isidora felt much better about herself, as she slipped through the window and outside into the crime scene that was around them. "Well I feel better. You got the coffins somewhere? I'll pack them up, we can probably make a decent dime off the Academy since apparently they don't have anyone coming by to clean up themselves." Isidora says as she slides to a stop beside her friend, and looks around at the two murdered academy students that lay on the ground, she could tell they were at least temporarily dealt with, seeing as their eyes had been closed and such. But they couldn't just sit around in the open air like this, that would be a waste of perfectly good money makers.

Lucius rose the notebook in his hand slightly, as he turns another page, while his gaze settled back upon the arrogant male that was obviously too good for this civilized setting that he was in. "Inappropriate eh? I see. Well I guess that makes sense, with all these 'ere upstandin' civilized folk. Would a Rat like you even know how to read or 'nything?" Lucius immediately sighs and closes the notebook in his hand with a snap before laying it down on the desk in front of him. "You got like, a butler or something outside to help you out? They probably have a solid forty years experience under their belt too, yeah?" Lucius says as he shakes his head slowly, while turning his attention momentarily to the remainder of the class. There was some pretty hectic stuff going on at the moment, including two students leaping out a window, followed by some sort of explosion from the other side of the room, and then more immediate people leaping out the window. Or passing through, as one of them appeared to be a ghost. Interesting stuff in this area, for sure. "Lots of people have tried, Richie. But I assure you, as a teacher of this fine institution.. None of them have succeeded." He says as an almost foolish grin twists onto his face in an instant, while his gray eyes lock back onto Erinor once again, he was certainly not done dealing with this pompous individual. He did not need coin in his pockets, to understand how the world works. He had plenty of experiences before coming to this location, and making his way through this academy. Even if it wasn't experience within this particular version of himself, at least. Lucius shakes his head momentarily as he looks in the direction of the door, maybe now that he brought it up there will be an elderly butler running in to help his 'Young Master' out with his schooling now?

Tiamat bound through the trees that were in front of her, dipping left and right as she ran while trying to keep her full speed up, and actions nimble. The poor wyvern clinging tightly to her coat as she runs, clearly only attempting to keep it's footing and not be left behind. As she ran, she expanded the limited amount of senses she could keep up around her, attempting to locate her newly found ally and the silver haired female that the two of them were chasing, an action which immediately allowed her to become aware of something else that was moving among the trees with her. Immediately she began to look around, attempting to figure out where whatever was following her was. She looked up after a couple seconds of looking around, before releasing an immediate gasp and tripping upon the ground, her entire body sprawling across the earthy ground as her wyvern is sent cascading across the ground the direction she was running. Her yellow eyes staring upwards as a flush begins to form across her cheeks, her gaze shaking with shock as she stares directly up at the extremely laid bare individual that was running around above her. Immediately a both embarrassed and equally embarrassing shriek leaves her lips before she brings her hands up to her eyes, covering them immediately so she wasn't forced to look at the stranger's bare nether regions any longer. Her wyvern immediately leaping up out of the leaves and dirt that it had tumbled into, and dashes back over to Tiamat's side, hissing and growling as it circles around beside her, not entirely sure what had caused it's partner to react in such a way as this. Tia did not move at all from this position, she was still in shock. Why was a guy running around naked? Why was he in the trees following her?! Was he after her? Working with the silver haired girl? She needed her sword! She had to be ready to protect herself! Tiamat immediately moves one hand away from her face while covering her eyes with her arm, reaching around rather spastically for her blade which did not appear to be within her grasp whatsoever. The fear of being faced with an unknown entity, who was definitely at least not wearing pants, while she did not even have her sword in hand!

Erinor Ellerose
Hidden Moon (Orimara)

Like a bothersome fly, this boy persisted even as Erinor shooed him away. Instead of leaving as he was instructed, this petulant child seemed determine to continue to buzz about with his childish sarcasm and quaint speech. Erinor was not amused, and his annoyance shown on his face as this boy, Lucius, made a show of turning his words against him. These skills were useful amongst peers, Erinor knew. Wordplay was a valuable skill when your words held weight. That was not the case now. A smirk formed on Erinor’s lips, though the cruelty still flashed silver in his eyes.

Lucius’ next verbal volley was pertaining to butlers, something the boy seemed to think was a cutting remark. Erinor’s smile remained.

”I have several dozen servants, quite skilled, all. As were their fathers, and their father’s fathers. Some people in the world know their place and are content in it. Others must be taught.”

”I think you will find that I am of a higher quality than those whom you normally associate with, Lucius.” Erinor’s smirk was one of victory, as if his own superiority had been fully displayed and no retort could call it into question. His silver eyes still burned like fire as they bored into the child before him, hatred radiating from him even as his smirk betrayed his true emotions.

Erinor was struggling to keep his poise. He was in danger of losing his self control, this gadfly of a fake teacher seemingly set on provoking him into violent conflict.

That would serve no purpose here, though, Erinor knew. Fistfights and scuffles were the methods of the poor and powerless, with no weapons within reach but their own bodies, Only bone and muscle and pools of blood to give power to their words.

Erinor was better than that. More civilized than that, despite the impulse for violence, despite his heart pounding in his ears like the drums of war.

This boy, Lucius Graeme, was seemingly unbothered by him, unintimidated by the presence of someone so far beyond anything he could hope to be. The natural order meant nothing to this child, this arrogant worm. He almost seemed to look at Erinor as if he were his equal! Or even as a superior! How dare he speak to Erinor in this way! Who did he think he was?!

Erinor’s jaw worked with rage beneath his cheek. Erinor took a moment to steady his emotions, the internal struggle fully hidden behind his iron gaze. Everything he had been taught about how to conduct himself in public told him to end this conversation while he still had his dignity. To appear unbothered by the movements of the ants before him and to carry on with his business as if they did not exist.

But another part of Erinor, a darker part, wanted to hurt this boy. To make him suffer. To make him bleed and regret his insolence. Erinor wanted to see the horror in Lucius’ eyes as he realized his mistake, who he was dealing with and what the consequences were. He had been in this academy for a scant few hours and was already in danger of losing his temper on the rats that scurried here, and this one, this Lucius Graeme was the current target of his ire.

Callum
Hidden Arts (Jenrei Clan)

---

Callum was at home in the tree tops. They were safe for those with the agility to traverse them. Few creatures came up this high, and none of the predators, at least not here. In the tops of the trees, his only company were the small nimble ones brave enough to climb to such heights, or birds. As he leapt from limb to limb, some such creatures scattered at the flurry of movement. He was keeping pace with the girl, despite taking this more acrobatic route. He was at home in the branches as he was on the ground, and always had been, for as long as he could remember.

His parents had once built a house in the treetops, so long ago, the one where he had lived alone for much of his early childhood, before the elements took it. He would travel this way in search of the wild fruits that grew among the treetops, a trick he had learned from the monkeys he had known in those days. After the house fell, he had found his home in the branches themselves, where he dwelled until the Shinobi found him.

As he pursued the target of his curiosity, this new stranger and her pet (some kind of lizard), he saw her sense his presence, despite the relative silence of his movements, and begin looking around. Some creatures had senses so finely-tuned that they could hear things that would seem silent to the human ear, but he had not expected this girl to possess such senses. His heart caught in his chest as the girl made eye contact with him, looking up and immediately falling to the ground in shock!

His motion ceased in an instant, as he became very still, not breaking eye contact with this stranger, watching her for any movement. He did not know this person or how they were going to behave, so Callum was extremely cautious and wary of the attention. When the girl did not seem to attack, but to shrink back in fear, the winged lizard flying around protectively, Callum finally moved, swinging down off of the branch, deftly climbing down the branches until he was on the ground. He stood to his full height again, just as he saw the girl make eye contact with another part of his body, seemingly the source of her shock, and scream out loud.

For a moment, Callum jumped back, hands up as if to defend himself. When he saw that the girl was not attacking him, he lowered his hands.

He didn’t understand, but he saw that she was uncomfortable and he saw the source of her discomfort, so he shifted the red cloth around to cover himself once more, before slowly approaching by a few feet, still keeping distance, hands outstretched as if approaching a skittish animal (her own animal seemingly less so).

”Safe.” He said, a single word. Speech still felt foreign on his tongue, even his childhood language feeling like the language of some far-off place, rusty from years of disuse. He had forgotten much of what he had known, even as a child, and had not fully regained his verbage. Even this one felt more than he was comfortable with.

He tapped his chest twice. ”Callum. Girl?”

He waited politely for a response before he spoke again, his speech broken and clunky with disuse.

”Callum not danger. Danger there.” He pointed in the direction he knew the predator from before to be, and the girl who had chased her, with hair the color of flowers.

”Want help? We find. We fight. We protect flower hair girl.”

Callum stood over six feet, his skin swirling with tattooed patterns, seemingly random, but random in the way that the forest grew, or the random paths that rivers took through the earth. A sort of heightened, dignified chaos. The patterns were breathtaking and covered every inch of his body, from his face to his hands to his bare feet and everything in between (as this girl would likely already know). For clothing, he wore 2 torn scraps of fabric, one large enough to wrap around his waist and another as a headband. The headband had once served to keep his hair out of his face, but his hair was much shorter now, shorn by the shinobi that had found him. He continued to wear the headband more out of habit than out of need.

He had an awkwardly-wide smile plastered across his face, one that would be seen as friendly, but much too large. Seemingly forced. Smiling was something Callum was getting used to, and not something that came naturally. Most primates saw the baring of teeth as a threat, where he was from. Whether his attempt to appear friendly was successful was up to this stranger.

Oh my oh my. What a snappy guy we had in this Academy today, spouting off his well established household like his s**t was gold! Lucius casually reaches down for the notebook he had been holding, immediately raising it up to his face as an audible stifle of a laugh could be heard not even remotely masked by the book he was holding in front of himself. As soon as he could get himself under control once again, he manages to just pick up the last sentence the male says to him, something surprisingly greater than his first statement. A higher quality? What an absolute joke! Raising his black gloved hand above his shoulder, he makes a slight flicking motion with his wrist, and a pen appears to practically materialize within his grasp. He then lowers the book from in front of his face, and flips open the book to the required page that he was looking for. "Let us see 'ere. Richie.. Richie.. Richie.. Ah! There ya are!" He says before looking back up off the page of the notebook and back into the direction of Erinor. "First things first.. Physical Impressions..? Rich. Semi-Decent stylin'.. Side note; Butler dresses him.. Overall score-" He pauses and raises the pen holding hand he was writing with up to his face, as if he was shielding his words from anyone that was on the right side of the classroom before he continued what he was saying. "-Out of Ten? How 'bout a five.. Alright number two, Attitude and Willin'ness to learn? Ha! Easy. One! Notes; He does not want to learn, his attitude is piss poor.. Clearly waited on 'and and foot all of his-" Lucius pauses again as he looks up from what he was writing and slowly scans over Erinor with his gray hues masked by the glasses he wore on his face. "-Fifteen years of existence; estimated." Lucius grins widely as he places the last period on this statement he was writing and repeating out loud as he did so, his gaze scanning over the room momentarily before returning to the paperwork once again. "Capabilities and physical scores, a hard one I 'spose. We've got a lot of knowledge though, yeah? So how 'bout a solid five. Side note; Butlers are most likely trained Anbu Black Ops, and do everythin' for him that he wishes anyway." Lucius says as he writes, giving a slow shrug of his shoulders when he finishes filling out this line, and then raising the back end of the pen up to his lips, tapping his mouth a few times as if he was lost in thought about how to answer the next subject that was apparently written on the paperwork he was filling out. "Qualifications to become a Genin.. Well he's rich right? Maybe throwin' money 'round durin' a mission will make things easier? Yeah I can include that I 'spose, hopefully his squad members are well off as far as their own capabilities, to make up his lackin' self-" He says as he continues to jot down his thoughts on the notebook he was holding with the pen once again, before looking directly at Erinor. "-All that in side notes o'course. Money can get you to a... Solid Three, I figure." He says while adding that to the answer of the question, and then he stops and immediately releases a chuckle aloud before he begins writing once again. "Oh the kicker! Cooperation and Team competency! One! But only cause I cant put a zero!" He says before raising his black gloved hand and brushing what could only be assumed to be a sudden tear out of one of his eyes, careful not to hit himself with the pen in his hand. "Oh man, cant forget the notes right? See. Above. That should 'splain everythin', yeah." He says with an elaborate period placed onto the notebook page, and then he casually flips to the next page in an instant. "Final score is an Average obviously.. That's where ya add the numbers up, and divide that total by the number of questions, for those of you that don't understand how Schools work without a butler to give ya the answers." Lucius says with a casual gesture of his pen holding hand to the remainder of the classroom, or at least whoever was paying attention to the commotion that was being caused in the front of the room. Lucius then casually spins the pen between his fingers as he brings his attention back onto Erinor with a twisting grin forming across his lips for the untold amount of time. "That leaves you with-a Three. Well below average, but hey, it's passin' enough for you to get on outta here, right? Good thin' I'm so. Darn. Generous. With my scorin' procedures." He says with that same grin plastered across his face, while making a motion towards the door to his side, a literal 'Get the hell out of here' motion, if one could guess as such. "Thankfully, the rest of ya, even the ones I saw leap outta the window, get much better scores so far.. Solid Eights all 'round for you, Nice! Good job class. Self study whatever you need to, and if ya have questions feel free to ask away, though it's a shame our star pupil Mr. Richie will be leavin' us so soon!" Lucius says with a final remark, still holding the motion of 'after you' to Erinor, directing him towards the door that would allow him to leave the premises of the classroom they were in.

Erinor Ellerose
Hidden Moon (Orimara)
User Image
---

Erinor wore his arrogant smirk like a mask to hide the storm of rage behind it. His clenching jaw threatened to crack his teeth as it worked diligently, as if chewing back the vitriol that threatened to spill out from between his teeth. His eyes practically glowed with ill intent, but he managed to hold his composure, at least for now. He glared silently, his mouth an unmoving curled line, upturned slightly, a facsimile of a smile, but without any warmth to give it credence. Anyone paying attention could sense what Erinor’s true feelings were.

Despite the fury that threatened to boil over, he remained silent as Lucius continued his charade, “grading” him. The premise was silly, of course. Who was Lucius, an uncultured peasant, to evaluate him? Despite the bizarre nature of the exchange, Erinor did not speak again until the Graeme boy finished his spiel, and seemed to “allow” him to leave. Quite a performance.

When Erinor spoke, his voice was sufficiently loud to match the “teacher”, as if he were himself addressing the class, though his burning silver eyes never left their mark.
”Yes. Quite a shame. Worry not, though, Sir G, Class, for you will be seeing me again very soon.”

His next words were low, a whisper brimming with threat, a final measured response, struggling to hold back the truer words that threatened to break through.

”That much I promise…”

With this final barbed statement, Erinor Ellerose stood to his full height, gathering what little he had brought with him, and made for the door, fuming, struggling to hold back the violent urge that pounded in every corner of his mind. Instead, he took a last hate-filled look around the class, the squirming rats, and left. The two large guards followed on either side, a step behind their charge.

The next time Erinor lowered himself to tolerate the presence of rats, they would not be laughing. They would soon learn the mistake in their wanton disregard of their station. They were fools, blind to the greatness that was before them, thinking themselves his equal. They would regret their shortsightedness. They would have to be taught their place.

Anger brewing within, Erinor left the academy, glad to be away from such filth.

                                            • XXXWalking into the halls of the academy his Kage had given him directions to, black eyes scanned the halls for his classroom. If he had not been told about this place as a means to get stronger to avoid an instance like with his parents, he likely would not have even heard about this place normally. From what he understood, this place was practically new. Checking his basic gear once more he nodded when he felt everything in place. So nothing had gotten lost on his journey up here. Excellent job if he did say so himself. Tugging his Uchiha branded jacket correctly in place, he held his head high as he made his way towards the door to his classroom. Though that incident may have caused him to have his own brand of abandonment problems, he always knew that he could rely on his clan to have his back and help take care of him. So he would proudly wear his clan symbol with pride, no matter how it may make others think of him. He would fight for his clan any day of the week because while they may not be direct blood his clan was still his family.

XXXUpon getting closer to his classroom he heard a slight commotion and frowned. Fighting already? That would be a waste of someone potential showing off everything they knew the first day of school. He himself had found a fun technique when he was but a child and had honed and perfected it. His friends had had plenty of fun with his technique a few times. A white haired male passed him looking like he was rather in a rage and Nakahiro had to step to the side to allow them to pass so that they did not trample right over him. With a frown he furrowed his brow before making his way to the door, looking around and sighing. "Honestly. Why waste such a perfect day for something like fighting when we are all here to establish peace between nations and become stronger?" He sighed to himself before slowly making his way into the room, trying to find a chair for him to sit in that would leave him out of the chaos. He pulled his hood over his head to hide his spikier hair that was a prominent trait of his clan members. Hopefully it would be enough for everyone to get that he didn't want to be bothered until it was time to learn. He couldn't help but take in his surroundings however. Old habits had died hard from his mother's teachings of always be aware of your surroundings so that you may be ready to react at a moments notice. He smiled a little at the memory of the reflex training his parents would make him go through. Just in case one day he was able to unlock his Sharingan. Well little did they know that their own deaths would do that for him. However he hadn't been able to access them to train with them since they awoke. That was a major contributor that pushed him to accept the Kage's proposal. The other being a way to become strong enough to prevent another incident like that one occurring again. Putting his face in his hands, he waited for their sensei to come in the room and ignored the rest of the chaos.

She would further hear about the comment of her coldness and tough thing pushing it too much with the venom behind her tone. "It's none of your business, neither should you concern yourself with it." The way she sank those words, she put it even colder to Qin Mei, basically telling her to peace out and shoo.

Deep in her mind she smiles thinking, this is Aoki Yuka truly at her coldest, its very clear when she doesn't want to be bothered, she makes it known. She would chuckle before drinking up the vial, the liquid to her taste pretty good, she would have to keep in contact with that witch girl. Lexy though before heading towards the girl to return the vial, she turns to Qin Mei with serious eyes. "She did save my life so long ago, maybe if we become good friends, i will tell you what she did to save me, its a great story after all. However about servitude, its what i want to do because with the coldness Yuka sensei carries, she could careless what i do as long as i follow her, yet she wouldn't care about me not following her."

"I do appreciate you looking out for me Qin Mei, its quite nice, maybe ill give you a visit when you aren't busy with murders." She would frown feeling like people are taking Qin's time away from her. She almost reaches out but she pulls her hand away. With a gentle expression, she goes to Isidora. "Hey!" With that, she hands the vial back to Isidora "Thank you for the drink, its quite a delight. Take care of that vial will ya, i hope to have one of those drinks again." She turns to walk away with a wave of hand in air added onto the thanks as she gets back into a seat to study next to Aoki Yuka.
