"Tonight it's my family," Cybele told Encke, although she didn't seem particularly upset about having to go back to them. If anything, her smile was font. "They'll worry if I'm gone for too long, won't think that I came up here to try to make tree branches into functional tents."

Not that it was a bad idea for some other time. While Cybele's money situation wasn't exactly tight, she wasn't sure that she wanted all of her disposable income to be going towards lumber, just as she did not know if she wanted to deal with the hassle of trying to see how many boards she could teleport up here in a single trip.

Her gaze darkened, just slightly, as she extended her hand to Encke again.

"I may have told them about the growing list of Generals who are after me."

She saw the way that he was smiling at the woods, though, and added, "Don't worry. I can bring you back up, sometime, if you'd like to see more of this place." Her smile widened to something just past polite.

"It was nice to have you up here with me."

Cybele's smile only widened. Her family was one of the first things that she'd attached herself to when she'd purified. Ganymede had taken her home to her own family that first night, when she'd still been filthy from hiding from the Negaverse and had her head spinning from the purification, with her identity gone and memories damaged for the second time in months. They'd taken her in without question, even then. Slowly, they'd helped her to feel human again.

Cybele would always brag about them.

"They're wonderful," Cybele agreed. "I haven't gotten lucky with much, lately, but I got lucky with them."

Then, with a small nod of agreement to the exchange of contact information, Cybele closed her eyes for a moment and brought the two of them back to the city that was home.
