Amber eyes twinkling as she ran her fingers through her short hair, Gabbie scooped up her italian ice and took a bite before bumping her hip into Cordy's.
"If you'd like to try, I'm not going to object. But let's see how your next tosses go before we decide it was all beginner's luck, hmm?"
Frankly, she was just as happy to cheer her friend on as she was to play herself. And it was a Fair. It wasn't like this was the only game to play.

The hip bump, well -- she'd try to blame it on her bad throws, but a bad throw was a bad throw. She missed absolutely miserably each time and that was just that. "Okay. So it wasn't beginner's luck... Moving on to the next game?"
Scooping up her ice and sticking her spoon in her mouth she eyed her friend with a smile, ready to move on to whatever game was next.

It was time to try for more plush, and Mehri was 1000% ready. Of course her being ready didn't mean she was actually going to get anything, and as the balls absolutely pinged off the bowls rather than going in them she felt a small sense of defeat. It also meant she could come back and try again since it seemed to be somewhat unlimited, and it didn't look like the booth would be running out of prizes any time soon. The main point was though she was going to get those final two bean bags, and....maybe a live fish. She felt like there had to be someone she knew who'd like actual fish.

Another day another chance to complete her collection of fish beanbags. Noelle picked up three ping pong balls and threw then all at once hoping the strategy would work again. And all three missed the bowls.

Noelle was determined to get the last beanbag she needed. Slapping down a ticket she picked up three more ping pong balls and tried her strategy again. And missed the bowls again though one did come close.

One last try for the day then she would go do something else Noelle decided slapping down another ticket. If her strategy didn't work this time she would try something else tomorrow. Near misses but still misses.

The fair was in full swing be the time Lilith was able to make time to go. Looking around she headed to the currently not very populated games area. Walking around and checking out the booths she found her drawn to the fish bowl toss. She decided to give it a try. She manged to get the first ball into a bowl but missed the other two. She happily took her new fish from the attendant.

Not far from the bottle toss was a stand with fish. Ellemir took a moment to admire and then found herself jostled to the front and being cajoled into trying.
Well...it couldn't hurt. She paid the fee and took the three balls and aimed carefully at the bowls on the table.
She watched her first ball not even make it to the table, her second rim a bowl and then bounce back onto the table and the third plink off the front of a bowl not even close to the top.
She quickly stepped back and into the crowd. Maybe these games were not for her!

New day, new set of tries to get a fish. Yesterday Jada had gotten two of three- today, Giulia was going to show her who was boss. Fail. Fail. DING!!! "YES!" Giulia screeched, and stuck a finger up at her older sister. "Eat that, Jada!"

Giulia really didn't act like she was 17 sometimes, Jada reflected as she gazed at the blonde. "So competitive." she said smoothly, "but you forget I have two of the three fish. I'm CERTAIN to collect them all before you."
Tough words- considering all three of her collection attempts proceeded to fail.

Hah! Giulia now had one bean to Jada's two, and her sister had failed. Confidently, the blonde threw her balls- and LO and BEHOLD: "Looks like we're tied~" Giulia crowed. "Big words, Jada. Big words!!!"

Oh boy. Maybe the pressure was on...
Jada shifted her weight, scowling at her sister, who was lit up like a light bulb.
"Don't underestimate me," she snapped, slapping down a second ticket, "I only need one more. I got this."
Nerves jangling, she threw three balls, watching two of them fail... but not the last.
Claiming her Black Bean, Jada smiled sweetly at her sister. "And that's how it's done."

Slapping down her third and final ticket of the day, Giulia huffed at Jada's luck. "I'm going to get all three of mine in one day, though," she decided, "And then I'll still be the winner here." Unfortunately, her annoyance affected her aim, and all three balls... Lip trembling, Giulia clutched her two finned prizes, glaring accusingly at the booth's employee.

Peacefully sliding her final ticket for the day to the booth-master, or whatever he was called, Jada took aim. "Looks like I win~" she taunted, and proceeded to whiff all three of her balls.
Dammit.
"I still win. All three of my little fishies will be on my prize shelf."
