[Lieutenant Nagyagite
HP: 50/50
DMG: 4]

This was it. The moment they'd all been waiting for--everything they'd built up to and planned for and considered. They'd found their target, and it was time to recover the scales they needed and take it down.

That, Nagya thought, sounded like the best part of this entire affair. He was a fighter, after all. He could fight. Could punch and kick and strike. It was all going to be a thoroughly good time, too, he was sure, with so many people and a big monster to beat down.

The final stage.

He leapt in unhesitatingly; plenty had already engaged, and while he had plenty of head for strategy, he wasn't responsible for that right now. Especially since here, now, in this moment, the only thing that mattered was that they weakened the youma sufficiently for it to give up the goods.

So he swing his fist, hard, with an eagerness that was practically electric.

Yes, this was going to be an unabashedly good time.

[Corrupt Sailor Mirzam
HP: 50/50
DMG: 5]

"Well, here we are," Mirzam said, as casually as she could manage. At least they didn't have to split up again, which meant she could keep Cleeia right here by her side. Which was, in truth, all she wanted; to keep her little brother safe and make sure that he got out alive. And that she did. They had much more important things to worry about than success, but if success happened to follow from them doing their jobs well and sticking together, that would be nice.

"Stick with me," Mirzam said, though she was fairly certain she didn't have to. "We can look out for each other. Don't wander far, and be careful with your magic--yours and mine are too volatile to be sure what it'll do to a monster."

Not that she had to warn Cleeia to be careful. He was always careful--maybe too much so, if she was honest. But that meant that she could trust that he would probably do okay at taking care of himself, and she didn't need to hover or anything else stupid.

So, with a grin, she moved to attack the monster; a simple punch, because magic was risky.

[Corrupt Sailor Cleeia
HP: 50/50
DMG: 5]

Cleeia could not have been more thankful that they were almost, finally, done. Soon, they would be able to get out of the Rift and he would never have to think aboutt his awful place and these awful youma ever, ever again.

He clung to his sister, unhappily; there was no way he was going to be parted from her sise this deep in the Rift, not unless they wer eordered to separate, and no one seemed inclined to order them to separate. Which was good, because Cleeia was pretty sure he couldn't handle that.

"I'm with you," he said, and he took a breath. This was it. This was the end, what they had worked towards this entire time. He just had to be strong, and smart, and careful, and he was all of those things--well, maybe not particularly strong, but that was okay, he was strong enough for this.

He followed his sister in to attack eagerly, and there was a hint of a grin on his face. This was...actually sort of fun, all things considered. A big throw-down fight, where loss or victory wasn't just up to him? He could do this.

[Corrupt Sailor Lilith
HP: 50/50
DMG: 5 + 3 (Tracking Team) = 8]

Of course it was the damn bat. It had lied to them in a thoroughly obvious way, and there had been more than enough evidence to point that way. At least there would be no more nonsense wit her having to translate Morse code, because there was no more need for parley. There was merely need for battle.

"Kelpie's Lure," she said, as she got off the spider. Instantly, she looked as if she was drenched, and instead of the thunk of combat boots, her footsteps created the echo of hoofbeats. "No one touch me," she said, as loud as she could, "you'll regret it." No need to get too much into the details. If someone didn't listen, they could regret it.

She moved in, quickly, to attack the monster. It was time to bring down the beast and claim their trophies.

Sailor Scout Attack: Kelpie's Lure
Lilith speaks the name of her attack and gestures at herself. She appears soaking wet and her footsteps sound like hoofbeats for the duration of the attack. For the next 30 seconds, anyone who makes any kind of direct physical contact with Lilith will feel, for the remaining duration of the attack, as if they are drowning. It is possible to struggle and as they are not actually drowning no real damage is done and it is impossible to actually die from it. Lilith can use this attack three times per battle.

General Lopezite
HP: 100

Lopezite knew they were hunting a youma. He just hadn’t expected something like this. He’d already been impressed by the array of youma they’d run into, even more so by the ones that were working with them. The array of spider-like youma that had ferried the group was equally unlike anything he’d ever seen, but really, that was hardly saying much given the vast variety of youma.

Even they didn’t compare to the youma he presumed to be their target.

He didn’t know what to make of it, except that it seemed unwise to run in without properly assessing it. Truthfully, he didn’t know what it was capable of, and without the ability to teleport down here in the Rift, he wasn’t willing to run in just to find out.

Even if he wasn’t leaping into battle, Lopezite didn’t want to be caught unawares and unprepared. He withdrew his sword, mindful not to hurt anyone else in the process.

Lopezite was as attentive as he could manage, with his attention spread across so many different things. He was partially focused on the youma and trying to take in every detail he could, but more than that he was looking for the leaders in the group. Some were easier to find than others; Kamacite in his bright colors made him stick out, and Lopezite thought he saw Faustitein the crowed. He tried to gauge what they were doing to better plan what he should do.

He just hoped he wasn’t making a mistake by wasting this opportunity.

[Corrupt Sailor Lionel
HP: 50/50
DMG: 6 + 3 (Tracking Team) = 9]

Lionel was glad to have Haymitch with him; it made this entire endeavor feel less intimidating, in its way. Plus, making friends with a Guardian Cat was always a solid proposition. It might mean more advancements later, if Haymitch remembered his performance here and took the news to a General-Sovereign.

Not that it would matter just yet, and not that Lionel was looking to advance tomorrow, or anything, but still. Besides, he liked Haymitch.

"You too," he told the little cat, before leaping into the fray himself. All he had were fists for now, but if the youma had any friends....Lionel could always sow some discord when they arrived.

[Corrupt Sailor Ilse
HP: 50/50
DMG: 1 + 3 (Tracking Team) = 4]

Ilse hated spiders. Hated hated hated them. She understood! Really! That they were important to the mission, but scurrying spider youma was more than enough to give her some powerfully upsetting creepy crawlies. She clung to her ride the entire way to the paths, but she was still obviously distressed, even when she got off--and then she got a look at the monster that had to be their target.

It was with a yelp of panic and half a thought that she pulled one of her heels out of subspace, and threw it at the strange bat.....thing, and honestly, she had to look like an idiot, but she did not exactly care. Not then. Her appearance was important to her, sure, but she could only manage to care about it so much and for so long. Especially when she was still in distress and absolutely did not, at all, in anyt way, shape, or form, want to be there anymore.

Truly, she could not say it enough: <********. spiders. Especially ******** weird, youma spiders. Augh.

[Corrupt Super Xenia
HP: 75/75
hovering back to watch + provide shielding if necessary!]

Xenia wanted to go charging into the fight. She really, really did. Her whole body was practically vibrating with eagerness as she bounded off her new spider friend and prepared to engage. Others were already attacking, though, and as she'd learned in her earlier travails, she might actually just be more useful for protecting people--so she looked around, to see if she could find anything to indicate a spot she could climb up higher to, in order to get a better view of the fight so she might best know when to deploy a shield or two. It wasn't like she enjoyed feeling like backup, but it was the best thing she could do for the group.

Better not to get tangled in a fight she was only sort of suited for, when there were plenty of officers with beautifully stabby weapons. (God, Xenia wanted a weapon.) Better to go back to Bellite and Wavellite with a story of heroism, rather than one of getting her a** kicked because she ran in too quickly and got into more trouble than she could handle.

General Benitoite
HP: 100
Damage:

Sleep had come easy to him, the idea of being down here didn't bother him, he didn't worry about the youma or any other such thing. What did get to him, in ways most would not expect, was when their mode of transportation to their target was revealed. Spider youma...spiders.

It took only moments before he could feel his stomache sink to the ground, where his feet stood firmly planted on the ground. His breathing quickened, he could feel it, as drawing breath became hard and he tried to fill his lungs. Each breatgh was no where near what he needed and so he drew quick shallow breaths. His knees grew weak as his stomache sunk to the floor, ready to give under the petite generals light weight.

He had a task to perform, duty to fulfill, and he could feel himself getting light headed as he look arouind for Wolframite. His sever issue with spiders had long been hidden, it didn't often come up so it wasn't an issue, and he knew Wolframite wouldn't know aboutj it but he was sure he could trust the Captain. He also didn't see Arseno anywhere. Speech was becoming hard as he felt sick and he couldn't get enough air to try and form words. He stumbled, half blind, towards one of the spiders in order to get on board, but his hold was weak. It would be a miracle if he didn't fall off the spider while it climbed to where their target was.

When they did arrive the General nearly fell off the spider youma which carried him, the poor thing likely had no idea why the general was in such a state. Falling onto his side as he tried, and struggled, to undo the fabric about his neck. His fingers shook and black was dancing about the edges of his vision. He knew he was bad, he knew the feelings, but no one here knew and he was as alone as he could be. He'd had these episodes crop up in the past when he'd been alone, he normally woke up somewhere alone. He couldn't do that here. He needed to figure himself out and sort out his thoughts but that was easier said than done. How was he supposed to calm himself down so he could breath like a normal person?

A cold sweat by now had broken out across his pale flesh as one hand clutched at his chest while his eyes seemed almost glassy and certainly unfocused.

General Titanite
HP: 100
Damage: 1d10+4, hits assumed.
Special: Can command youma, but it only works on certain youma. Roll 1d10; If a General's roll is an odd number, the youma will obey them. Quote Strickenized when this happens.

Damage: 14

Titanite had one job. Well. One job made up of a lot of moving parts. Ponch. Get scales. Do not die. Try not to get anyone else dead. Ponch again. So it was easy for her to make her way close to the target and prepare to settle into a rhythm. It was.... ugly. And big. And screamy, knew they were coming, clearly.

The Boss wanted the scales from it, and there were a lot of scales to be had. So step one would be to get it to give them some- with violence, since nothing else had worked. Then again, had anything else been tried? That information was above Titanite's pay grade...

So, throwing herself into the rhythm of battle, the General hummed and began to focus.

It expected the other officers, but it hadn't expected so many. Half of them swarmed it, half of them lingered on, as if waiting for their turn in a relay battle. Radon hadn't been able to properly equip itself to deal with all of them, however.

It managed what it could — retracting together, the youma rippled before chunks of chitinous plates were discharged from its back. The pieces arced upward before coming down on its various targets with force. While some agents dodged, and other plates went wide, only to fall down below, a few of its adversaries were hit. Serendipitously, beneath those chitinous plates were coruscating scales.

It bellowed another shriek, this one echoing through the otherwise vacant Scar. Staring at the lot of these officers, its feet ticked restlessly on its path. ire coursed up its side and it flinched, magical claws caused it to step backward, and a pink orb struck it dumb. The creature remained inert for a moment afterward. The Scar, however, was beginning to come alive — youma were incoming.

Reidite would find that, unlike regular bugs, Radon's legs were affixed by tendons. They were a possible break, but not an easy one.

Lavendulan and Carnallite could see that, on the opposite end of the Scar from where backup had arrived, a loose chunk of cliffside hung over a couple of their latticed paths. Enough damage should bring it down, but any agent or senshi caught in its fall path would surely be crushed.

      Cliffside
      HP: 100/100
Notes: It seems unwilling to attack.

Roselite and Jet / Arles would discover that the creature struggled with mobility around the parts where it retained its old appearance. Thus, it took issue moving its claws and head.

The tracking team figured out the target. This means members of the Tracking team get a permanent damage bonus (+3) due to familiarity with the terrain and the monster. They may also forfeit a damage roll per round to look for weaknesses / make deductions.

Please refer to the combat mechanics in this post if you have any questions! Please note that commanding a youma will not work on the boss. Please assume that your character has recovered in full and has all instances of limited-use magic.

For half youma, attack abilities receive (+3 / +5 / +7) depending on rank.

Captain Prehnite
HP: 53/75
DMG: +3 (AtkDice) +3 (Cpt. Spcial Wpn)
Total: 6

The impact of claw took his air. The shink of metal skating over chitin and panicked scrabbled digging as he sought to hold on. To stab into the thing and catch on something with serrated edge, before he was sent careening below. To his doom, to the ground, to the klaxon clamor of voices and attacks he now heard spilling out above his own fear laden heaving.

Everything yanked short, pained yelp grit between his teeth as he caught a hold, and suddenly brought his inertia to a halt, weakly fought off gravities tug. The distant sound of someone calling out a butchered hyphenation of his mineral. The Senshi maybe, Fulgurite.

"I'm fine!" an outright lie shouted over the din. He was tired, he ached, and he bled. Trembled a little as he growled out a breath of air and dug in; to hold on and pry at the creature in retribution for the chaos it'd wrought simply by existing.

If only it would've died - made itself more useful than its hide by becoming dust. So that they may never be called upon to hunt it again.

Captain Lavendulan
HP:75/75
Dice: 1d8+5(tracking team)

The last time she was up here, Laven had been more worried about either falling or being thrown off the cliff if Radon deemed her a threat to its identity since she's was the one to have found the tracks. Her gaze had been kept downcast either from being scolded early on or because she was looking for clues. Either way, she had not thought to look to the horizon, or up for that matter, until now.

On the opposite end of the scar, there was what appeared to be a loose chunk of cliffside hanging over past of the path.

An idea struck her, one that may offer them an advantage, but also ran the risk of great casualties if their comrades did not flee quickly once it came down. Rather than acting on her own accord, Lavendulan scanned the faces of nearby officers and inwardly grimaced when she realized the two closest Generals were the ones that likely had the lowest opinion of her here; well... at least the blond one anyway.

There was magic flying, as well as weapons and rocks, which only hindered her ability to find Faustite amongst the chaos of battle; and so she swallowed what stubborn pride she had and ran towards the two at least familiar officers.

"General Jet, General Aquamarine," she regarded them both but didn't waste time saluting or bowing. "There might be a way to slow Radon down." Lavendulan pointed in the direction where backup had arrived from. "That cliffside, if we can bring it down then maybe it can stop it from changing." Wishful thinking to believe that this maneuver would kill the once bat- looking youma, it was too smart to be felled so easily; or so she assumed.

Corrupt Super Sailor Meridiana
HP: 65/75
Dice: 1d8
Damage:6

Meridiana had hoped to avoid getting hit by retreating backwardsafter throwing the rock, clearly that was the wrong choice to make as chitinous plates were thrown from its back and one managed to cut the side of the leg. She managed one staggered step forward before falling to her knees with a sharp intake I'd breath through clenched teeth.

Any curses she would have swore at it were abruptly cut off by a bellowing shriek and while Radon started at them with a dumbfounded expression the Scar seemed to shift, to move.

Fear rooted her in place, keeping her from moving towards the other officers, "Oh s**t..." she spoke upon an exhale.

Youma did not care much for corrupts like her, she knew that before volunteering to help with this mission, but still she thought she could have been of some use. How foolish she was to believe such a lie. Now, more than ever, she regretted her decision and couldn't help but wonder if any of them would make it out of the Rift.

Lt. Leifite - HP: 50/50 - 1d6 + 2 +3 (Tracking)
Damage: 6

... Oh dear god. The insect like plates fell from Radon (?) to reveal rippling scales that covered its body. The reports had said it could change shape at will, but the fact that it shifted this fast gave Leifite pause. If it wasn't for the sheer amount of people fighting, Leifite would have thought this was going to go horribly.

Quite honestly, it still could go horribly. She didn't like this one bit. Not much she could do except turn to engage the youma that began to filter into the area after that absolutely earsplitting screech from the greater youma.

Haymitch - HP:50/50 - 1d6 + 3 (Tracking)
Damage: 4

Oh... oh that wasn't good. Anything shedding in the middle of a really big fight was never a great sign, more so when it was a youma of all things. Haymitch eyed the officers starting to investigate the cliffside, and dodged under one of the attacks by the giant one. He was completely out of his element, with very short claws and teeth and not a whole lot of energy in his attacks. But he was trying. Io Mama would be impressed, if she wasn't panicked by learning he'd gone into the Rift and fought a giant youma.

But he'd been a guardian for years now! He was at the very least not entirely a kitten anymore, even if he still had the body of one. He could handle himself and keep himself safe, while also keeping an eye on the corrupts running around. They were wont to do some crazy things if left to their own devices...
