He/They grew on in the edge of a swampy expanse, and this environment shaped their abilities (if any) over the years, but none so much as Aman. At a young age, Aman (called Leroy back then) began to show an affinity not with plants, but with the fungal organisms that grew near their home. Indeed, his fungal abilities quickly came to match the plant abilities of much older shinobi. He was a natural. Around the same time, he began to transform inside as well, casting aside his assigned gender and living a life as genderless as the mycelium, growing wherever and being whatever they needed to be as the situation arose.
