"Why is it that you are always in cupboards. Can't you use a normal room like normal people." He pulled out a napkin and gave it to her for her crying. "Why did you contact me when you left the Guard House. emery I am responsible for you and I don't want you to get hurt... more. " He said as he helped her down off the counter steading her. He finally processed what she said. " Wait Odhran kicked you out of there. On what ground. It's ridiculous." He looked at Emery again walking away from her mostly to see if she was okay walking. "So since you can't stay at the Guard House tonight does that mean you're sleeping in my room?" He asked not impolitely just curious.

Emery shook her head. " I was only kicked out of the cupboard not the entire guard house." She was then helped off the counter. She paused tapping her chin with a finger as she loooked up at Alexander. She wasn't sure where she would spend the night. Though the thought of sleeping near Alexander did provide a slight bit of safety and comfort. She tried to remember what Cece said and not worry too much about what that dragon had said. Though Wizard had harmed her in the past the ones who had helped her recover seemed to mean what they said. They hadn't hurt her. Besides if they did, she had a feeling that they'd kill each other. "I'm.. hungry.." She gave him a toothy grin. "I was thinking of going into town." She thoughfully continued without realizing that she should have asked permission before even mentioning such a thing. She'd never been to town without company. She cringed inwardly at herself as she realized what she had just said.

Alexander gritted his teeth a bit. He didn't like her spending time at the guard house especially if Odhran was there. But if he tried to stop her she might say something to Magi and he didn't feel like being questioned by him. "Maybe try not sleeping in cupboards. You know you are always welcome in my room if you don't feel comfortable sleeping anywhere else. As long as you warn me first." He said the last part as an afterthought. No need to scare the poor dragon. He was about to suggest she go to the mess hall if she was hungry when she said going into town. It frustrated him that she never thought ahead but it was something he was used to. "Are you going alone? Cause that would be very reckless and dangerous for you and you know better. If you want I can escort you to the town." He sighed and walked back to her placing his hand on her head. "You understand why I don't want you going off on your own right. If Cece wasn't here and I was too busy to come who knows what that dragon could do to you. I don't want anything to capture you." He ruffled her hair. "You're too... unique? Innocent? No definitely not innocent. Precious to go missing."
