She knew it wasn't Magi, but she was startled nonetheless. After everything that happened, the last thing she needed was for everything that happened today to be brought up again. She stiffened and looked at Saffron from the bed. "I AM PERFECTLY NORMAL!" she yelled very unconvincingly and frankly, it was just loud and not needed. Though the idea of the students witnessing what she witnessed... wasn't a good sign. And Saffron looked almost as bad, if not worse for ware than she was. Vivian composed herself and looked over at Saffron from the door. "Sh-she's really great at listening...all things considered. I...I think you should stay for a little while. Curfew will happen soon...then corraling the students is securities job...right?" she explained, trying to be a little bit helpful to her. Saffron needed the same thing she got...someone to listen to and a shoulder to cry on. ☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲

"A dead student was found."She looked shocked over to Vivian."You poor thing I didn't know you witnessed that on top of everything else. No wonder your mind is all over the place."She turned to Saffron about to say she appreciated what the professor was saying, but jumped when Vivian yelled. "Nobodies normal and that is okay. I thought we just talked about this. "She looked back to Vivian and listen to her try to convince the professor. Then back at Saffron pouting"Come on there isn't many people for us to have a girl day with. Please! " She grabbed Saffron's hand in an effort to pull her in. She knew that she couldn't the situation with any of her abilities other than being an ear for the staff and students. But the staff was needed now and she could talk to the affected students later. "We have loads of candy to make everyone feel better." She said truly believing sugar solves most things

She didn't really want to have a 'girls night' especially since she wanted to make sure all the teachers were aware of what was going on. The guards were probably all over it and she didn't have to really worry so much but it wasn't in her character to be slacking off during this time. She however allowed Lavi to pull her in the room with somewhat of a groan and crossed her arms once she got in the home. It was untidy and though she wouldn't call it messy she wouldn't allow her house to go on like this. Her family had staff and cleanliness was something Saffron needed to relax in. Simply put she was on guard. She didnt want to sit down or partake in any of the 'candy eating' that Lavi was offering. "Lavi, I'm really just trying to make sure everyone is aware of the surroundings. I can't take too much time here. I'm also not so good at this kind of thing... I need to be vigilant during this time. That's hard to do tied in here..." Saffron said trying to spare their emotional female feelings..

She kind of hid behind her. "I know it's hard to relax. Trust me...I understand. But try and relax a little bit...I'll make some tea..." Vivian started to tidy up, using her new magic to make things float and move to their proper home. She was humming and happy to actually KNOW some magic. In a matter of minutes, the floor wasn't cluttered and she was making a platter with tea and the cookies she brought. She put it on the coffee table. Besides when's the last time we just hung out." She walked over to mini fridge as she listened to Vivian."Yeah come on Professor don't you want to relax with the cool kid"She said jokingly. She watched as Vivian made the tea "Wow Vivian look at your improvement already in your magic. I'm impressed"She turned to the professor again after listening to what Vivian said. "There aren't many females around here that aren't scary. We just want to be better friends with you professor"

Saffron raised her eyebrow at them as they were talking. "There is a dead student and people are still acting like things are normal! I don't think I can!" She said a little frustrated with the women. She didn't want to waste time but there wasn't really anything that could be done more at the moment and she wondered if that's what really frustrated her. She looked around at the newly cleaned area and then sat down... She said not really wanting to work tonight anyway 'I really hope the guards have this...' she thought as she waited to see if there was wine.

She got why she was so uptight about the death of the student. She knew it because she felt the same. When Saffron asked for Red Wine, Vivian nodded and glided out of the room for a moment. She came back a few minutes later. "Here!" Vivian said, holding the bottle by the neck. "Sorry...there was a bit of an issue in my room earlier today...so my room is a little...messy. I had to navigate it and that was a thing." she went to Lavi's kitchen and grabbed the bottle opener. She popped the cork and poured three glasses. Then she brought them over to the girls. "Here. I think it's good...should be on the sweeter side." she sat down next to Saffron. Lavi felt bad when Saffron said that people were acting normal, but she knew there wasn't nothing she could. Besides she was taught in a tragedy act like things are normal,but don't be blind to people hurting.Maybe Saffron is hurting.""Professor did you want to talk about what happed today. I know you aren't normally the emotional type, but everyone needs to be able to vent"She froze at not having any wine, but was relieved that Vivian had some."Thanks Vivian!" She said with some enthusiasm taking a sip.

Saffron took the glass in her hand and looked at it for a second. She then took a taste then pulled it away from her lips for a moment. She then sighed and drank it like a shot. She put the glass on the table and was ready for more. "Look, everything that happened today was a mess...My nephew was hurt and I really should be looking after him but I can't even do that. I have a hard enough time seeing him in the state he was. Honestly, the death of a student is tragic but there are kids that died in this school due to many reasons that didn't have to do with murder. Magic is dangerous enough and well...Death happens. I'm somewhat concerned it doesn't phase me like it should. Even now I'm only thinking about Belmont and how he's doing. I care about very few people in this world...I'm numb to other things...and I'm slightly concerned about myself...I don't mind sitting her with you guys...But that's part of my issue. I should mind. I should care. I want to tell other teachers about it and make sure they know what's going on...but not because I mind...because I feel I should mind...And it's hard to watch others...that don't understand why I am the way I am...And how warm they are with people I love. Why be warm to people you know nothing about..." She said a little bitter grabbing the wine bottle from Vivian and pouring more without asking. She downed another glass and looked over at Vivian, "You can call me Saffron, but never call me Saffy..." She said with a bit of sass. She allowed herself to vent as the girls were supplying the wine.

She poured the woman another glass and sipped on her own. Since it had been several hours, her bruises started to come out. Both wrists were bruised, a part of her left arm near the shoulder was bruised, and a part of her right leg was bruised. Because of her petite choice in pjs, they were all seen. "I think I understand Saffron...I mean, it's based on previous traumas that we've experienced. But that doesn't mean you don't care about what is happening. You're just coping in a different way. We all are. This, for example, is how Lavi and I are coping with the situation. With girl time. And however you cope with it is okay too. We're just allowing you to be here with us, so we can all get through this together as friends." she took a sip of wine. She put the glass down and got up. She looked shocked. She remembered meeting him the other day "Wait is Belmont okay. What happened to him?" She sat next to Saffron focusing on what she was saying. She smiled sadly at Saffron. "Numbness happens to all of us though. Especially in high stress jobs. I get numb sometimes when I have to hear what these kids say about their home life day after day. You just have to find a balance. Take a break when needed and come back to assess the situations. You are not suppose to care for everyone it'll drive you insane. Trust me. When I first started I wanted to make everyone feel special to the point that I forgot myself. I still do on occasions, but I'm better at idenifying the issue now." She said trying to comfort Saffron. Identifying yes, but i still do nothing about it She thought to herself. She listened to Vivian nodding her head from time to time agreeing. She thought about what kind of clothes would fit Saffron and remembered she had bought a really big shirt as a night gown a ling time ago that made her look like she was a child. "Yeah I have something she can wear give me a second" She went rummaging through her drawers pulling out thing and leaving them on the side before sje got to the fa back and pulled out and oversized t-shirt. "You can wear this it is big enough to be a night gown."

Saffron sighed at the girls tried to work through what they thought she was talking about. Of course they didn't really know in her opinion. They were just guessing. She didn't care for anyone. She listened Vivian talk about how she was trying to cope or that it didn't affect her. The truth was it really didn't bug her that there was a murder. It wasn't Belmont so what was she to care. The girls were way off for her and nothing they said was in the realm of 'resonating' with her. Them talking made her feel more cold and think about how William was able to just side by the bedside of Belmont without having an attachment to him. 'Who does that? Who just sits by a stranger's bedside? I never thought someone of his background could even care like that...' Saffron thought as the other girls chattered. She knew that he was a detective and that he has done things in the line of duty. But he didn't seem to be numb like she was. He was warm and she was frustrated at thinking about it over in her head. 'With all that death in his life, why is he...willing to be like that?' She thought then heard 'We need to get you out of that armor...' and suddenly chills ran up her spine. Uhh... she started to respond to them as Lavi held out a shirt. She looked at the shirt and grimaced. It didn't much match her style and then sighed. Guys...I do wear clothes under this...Just...let's put my armor somewhere I can get to it quickly, Kay? She said taking off her armor and chainmail leaving a dainty outfit underneath on. She glanced at Vivian's bruises and thought about the rumors of Magi then looked back up to Lavi who was closest to her. Can I have more wine? she asked knowing that was what would get her through the night.

Lavi knew...but Saffron didn't. And she didn't know how Saffron would react to knowing. She walked back out with her arms covered and sat back down with Lavi and Saffron. She turned to look at Saffron and smiled at her. "So Saffron. Belmont is related to you, right? Tell me about him. And the rest of your family if you'd like." she thought that since she brought up Belmont, she'd want to talk about him and her family. I wish I had your guys long blond hair"She watched as Vivian ran into the bathroom confused for a second before realization hit her. When Vivian can out she was wrapped in bandages and Lavi could help think that it was obvious she was hiding the bruises. But she didn't want her to feel uncomfortable so she just rolled with it. "Yeah you and Belmont seemed really close I am also curious"She said hoping to get Saffron to loosen up a bit.
