Marissa brought a hand up to cover her laugh but the humor lines around her eyes betrayed her regardless. Seemed he had more of a silver thumb instead of a green thumb, if that was even a thing; able to craft and create but growing was a challenge. Truth be told, she could honestly relate.

As for mavuian, she had to bite her tongue on that a bit since the only one she had ever met was on the side of Order. Arthur was friendly enough and didn't shy away from her appearance, nor did he attack her because she was different. Unlike most of the White Moon Senshi she had encountered, he was at least willing to listen and learn instead of make a snap judgement and decide she was too monster, or youma, like to be reasoned with or spoken to.

"We can definitely toss around a few ideas later, if you'd like. Maybe swing by your junkyard after we eat and see if anything sparks a bit of inspiration?" She offered up as a suggestion rather than hurrying back to the Dark Kingdom. Plus, going to visit the junkyard was akin to going to a craft store, there was that child-like excitement on seeing what kind of neat trinkets or gadgets they could find and fix or turn into something new.

"Definitely make sure you're at least satisfied, if not full, before worrying about bringing home leftovers for them." She looked more than amused at how quickly the food had disappeared, meanwhile the chips she was snacking on was still three-quarters full. "If need be we can swing by the pet store and grab them a treat." Perhaps a bone or pigs ear if they liked those things.

"I had a cousin who use to have a labrador retreiever, beautiful dog. Anyway, they had one of those Kong toys; you know, the ones that are kind of snowman-shaped but they're hollow inside. She used to put these treats inside and her dog would try to roll it around to get them out. However, there were a few times she filled it with peanut butter." At that mention, the smile tugged at her lips as she tried her hardest not to outright laugh at the memory of it. "It was the most amusing thing to see a dog with peanut butter stuck to the roof of their mouth." But oh man did they love it. "I'm not sure how healthy it was, but it made for a good time."

Marissa reached for her cup and took a drink of the cold ice water. However, before she was able to put it back on the table, their waiter returned with two hot plates held carefully with hot pads. "Oh, um, mine was the enchilada's with mole, please."

"I don't know, my cousin's dog was pretty bad," Marissa reached over to pick up the small bowl of salsa and scooped a few spoonfuls on her rice."Her Lab had what we called "Loose Lips" always dropping food all over the floor when she ate.

Using the side of her fork, she cut a piece of enchilada and took a bite. "Mmmmm," Marissa closed her eyes and leaned side to side just savoring the flavor. "God I forgot how good sit-down restaurant food could be." When was the last time she actually ate out someplace not fast food or the cafeteria, she wondered.

"How does yours taste?"

"Sure," Marissa motioned with her hand to slide his plate over. "Give me your plate."

Again she used the side of her fork to cut about a quarter of one of the pork and cheese enchiladas and, with the help of her spoon, picked it up as a somewhat equal compensation. It was something she used to do often with her brother. When they couldn't settle on one thing, they would each pick something different and split the meals. However, since he was older and often ate more than she did, Marissa usually gave him a bigger portion. He'd eat their family out of house and home, or at least everything in the pantry if he could; that metabolism of his was quite impressive.

"I'll just order him some Carne Asada street taco's." As long as it had meat in it and little vegetables, Wolframite would be happy.

Marissa scooped a few bites worth of food onto the now open spot on her plate then took a bite of what he'd ordered. "Oh yum. That tastes really good!" Mental note to self, order that next time!

"So, how did you end up finding this place? Just randomly looked it up on Google or did someone else bring you here first?"

"I can only imagine how difficult that may be," only a partially true statement since she often saw parts of her brother in him. She saw the similarities in his kindness mostly or his confidence and the way he held himself. At times it made her sad but Marissa also found solace in the way Samir's presence kept her brothers memory alive.

"I think you should work more on your social life," make up for where they were both lacking. "Allow me to live vicariously through your stories so we can have excuses to do this more often." A simple meal was all she had time for unless they were powered.

"Cherish your humanity, live with no regrets." You never know how quickly it might be taken from you, her heart panged with the thought but still, she forced a smile. "Continue to create beautiful things, maybe have a gallery someday where people can admire your artistry."

"What we do in our off time," responsibilities while powered. "That only makes up a small part of what makes you, you. Everything else, that's where you'll find joy and happiness. Don't neglect those simple moments," Don't be like me and close yourself off to people who care. Being a lieutenant was hard enough, lowest on the totem pole in terms of rank. But also being a half-youma where it felt more like an attraction at a freak show with such limited glamour time that there were instances early on when she forgot what it was like to act like a human as opposed to being a hermit hiding in her room.
