Nelson felt a sudden rush of warmth at Xander’s warmth and his smile grew. “Ah...yes! No, that’s good. That’s very good. I want you two to both be happy...and...it doesn’t have to be as good as it is in Japan! Destiny City is honestly...it’s better anyway. You two are here! This is home...and that was simply a grand adventure...though...Q is right, Jace...you do have to try the food there one day. Xander, you too. Though...I’m not sure you’ll be that satisfied with the spice level…”

But, that was what a good chili oil was for, wasn’t it? And he could surely find something spicy enough for Xander and his brother, though thankfully Jace wasn’t as bad as Xander was...nobody was...quite on Xander’s level.

“Thank you both, by the way...for the warm welcome home. I’m...really happy.”

“Ahh… good company always adds a good spice to things!” Xander waved his hand, though, in truth, his mind was already on various chili oils and peppery goodness regarding warming any dish.

“I mean unless it has NO spice, but you’d at least make sure they had something like black pepper for me; you know me too well!” He grinned.

He reached up and casually tweaked a length of Nelson’s hair with a teasing smile.
“It’s not the same city without you Man.”
